Great video, one point about min/maxing this build, you def have to put that one point to a Skeleton Mastery, so you get lvl 16 after +skills. It would raise the life and damage of your Revive alot!

Hey man, what loot filter do you use? I've been using the filter from the SlashDiablo map hack, but I am so sick of access violations. I've had like 7 tonight in maybe half an hour of playing. Is yours easy to customize?

How do I play PlugY? I'm a bit of a noob so I need a step by step. I have D2 and LoD installed, I just don't know where to go from there.
I've always wondered how it would go with a White wand with +1 Lower Res, +3 Poison Nova, +3 Corpse Explode. But I just don't think it's going to go the distance up against HOTO and DWeb... the real experiment would be if skills were tight and you really needed to not spend all those points in the Curses tree. Maybe with a summoner/poison nova hybrid.
For endgame mf build, summoner is usually too slow.
Why not use regular skeletons instead of revives?
Blackbog's Sharp is a solid replacement for Death's web. Bramble is a good replacement for Enigma as well and Homunculus is a good replacement for Spirit (if you somehow cant get a spirit). IDK why people think psn nova necro is shitty - I love them; really good for pit runs, can run ubers, and hella fun PVP.
Also, for tougher mobs you can just as easily throw a bone prison into the mix; Prison, L.R., Nova, C.E.
Urdars have Crushing Blow too, remember.

What's your early and mid game experience from a Poisonmancer? I wanna try this build but I don't know where to start. always play summoner Necromancer, but I wanna try something new like this one. Did you have trouble on Normal/nightmare difficulty with this build? What skills you maxed first to play trough Normal and Nightmare?

It's really about your play style. Necromancer in this regard is much like Paladin. Overpowered. It's in the mid-late game you're gonna wish you had a tank Golem. Yes, Bone Spear is great(but boring!). Most agree that once you get a Golem and Corpse Explosion, you're set.

What about using iron golem made from Infinity and use an Act 3 Merc with Griffon with rbf, 2 spirits and vipermagi?

Good tips here for me. I'm making a necro next. I've never really made one. I'm doing LKs for the runes I need. I do have a d web already so that's the hardest part complete
Chris Mclean can't make it so that doesn't matter for me. I can LK up bers pretty quick regardless
hey man. I dug up my old key for d2 and tryen to install game but i can't get it to run. I have to use a pirated copy od D2 lod (ISO from pirate bay) am i missing some kind of files or something?
of course i know about that. these are very old keys that were already registered
One noob question Why not use amplify skill damage skill before using Corspe explotion?Doesnt amplify skill add dmg to ur CE (corpse explotion) damage?

It's 50/50 fire/phys, so amp will add a bit more dmg for CE compared to Lower Res (A lot more if the monster has Low Fire Res (Conviction is -85) or is Fire Immune), but your poison nova is still ticking while you're CE'ing and the focus should be more on Poison Nova than CE.

Yes it does! There are a few things to note though. If you cast Iron golem with charges it wont carry over, if you respec without a Golem charges item equipped (example: Metalgrid) your golem will die, or obviously if he hits 0 HP.

You should really try Summon/AD/CE Necro with: Beast weapon, Infy/Might Merc, Pride Iron Golem!!
I actually gave this build a shot not too long ago. Really like how strong it is. I might level my Necro up a bit with it.

Conviction does not affect poison res
I forget. Does poising kill or does it only drop minions health to 1 ?
It will kill them. 1 health thing is just for players.
I always run this build it's surprisingly strong. Yes d clone poison only can be killed easily and ubers isn't that bad either. P1 of course

Change Andariels Visage... That will negate your poison nova... And Conviction aura "WON'T REDUCE the poison resist of monsters"... Only lowers fire-cold-lightning... May be using holy freeze one runeword is much better with might or defiance aura or Holy freeze one act 2 with much better runewords... And at players 8 difficulty "corpse explosion" is very weak... Not scales with p8...
Won’t the fire golem be better with holy fire? After draining enemies as fast as you do with psn, the aura should one shot everything with conviction.
The amount of mana being used, I prefer Insight golem. Also Mobs, unlike players, die from poison damage.

Conviction aura doesn't lower the poison resistance either.
but it lowers the fire resist and defense of monsters lining it up perfectly for CE and Physical damage from the minions.

1x skeleton mastery increases the damage from revives by ~170%, should be useful especially versus bosses like dclone/ubers

Dont use Andy's. The poison nova overwrites your nexros poison nova. Also craft a 2/15 nec ammy. With 2 fcr rings and a darkforce.. U need to hit that 125 breakpoint my dude. Only lower the unique pack. I clear pit with this build in 45 seconds.
Poison Nova is a really bad skill to use against bosses. To counter this, you should equip your A2 merc (NM offense, might aura) with Infinity RW (eth CV/CA with +%ed), Forti RW, and Guillaume's face --> 75 % CB, 7500 max dmg. Instead of a lower resist curse, use decrepify or amplify damage as bosses usually have 50 % physical resistance. Those two curses will remove the physical resistance, lower it to 0 or -50 and your merc will obliterate Baal, Diablo, Meph and any other champion monster under 10 seconds even on players 4 setting. You can even try to summon six or seven skeletons based on your + all skills to speed things up. Their damage is not that significant, however, if you multiply it by 7 and boost their damage output with the might aura, bosses won't stand a chance as they'll receive additional 800-1000 physical damage per second.
Tl;dr - As a poisonmancer, use decrepify or amplify damage to help your merc as he is the main damage dealer in these scenarios. If you play modded D2 that allows you to equip the merc with gloves and boots, give him Goblin toe for 100 % CB.

Maybe faster than YOUR Hdin, not mine son. My micro is off the chain. I clear pit faster than that kid.....

Thats because theyre fucking broken and not fun at all. I refuse to play any of those. Pnova builds are so much entertaining. builds that can obliterate a run in p8 are not balanced, its for 8 players, not for 1 player to run through it like its nothing
