He forgot the name of iron golem. Fishy. Was not sure about crushing blow on the creature's he was going out of his way to summon. Spoiled Spanish mackerel.
A cool trick you can do is to equip a golemlords wand b4 u exit the game when u have an iron golem. every time u enter a game it resummons it. You can find a wand with +3 summoning, +3 iron golem, +3 golem mastery,+3 summon resist! the wand doesnt take up much space and usually ur using a beast axe which gives u 0 plus skills. just simply swap back to beast once ur in the game. I believe u can have 4 + to skills on a magic and 3 + to skills on a white item if im not mistaken. one of which can be +3 to an entire tree.
I also believe the advantage you have with Urdars as well, is that they also have a monster variant of smite, so that crushing blow really stacks up when you got like 30 or 40 of them, that's like 30 or 40 smiters with low damage but all have crushing blow, and crushing blow will do % damage to life no matter what.
Some tips as someone who used to farm parts with my fishymancer back in the day for hc- 1)don't decrep anything that's not a boss just a waste, use amp dmg instead. 2)Skele mages are mostly useless but just desummon the frost ones if you want them (they die when they get breathed on) 3)DO NOT max summon resist. A better point sink is probably into golem masteries rather than summon resist, maxing instead of getting a point or two will only net you a few more resists.
Somebody needs to show the realistic version of doing ubers with a summon necro, the last wish on the merc just says one of two things, A = I bought all of the gear I'm using or B = I botted all the gear I'm using.
It's been a while since I played d2 (in fact back when only patch 1.10 was out) but I recall my favorite character being a necromancer with Bramble as an armor and maxed out basic Curse. Since the latter decreases physical resistance by an absolute 100%, it means that even physical immune monsters wouldn't be physical immune anymore... The only monsters which would not be affected had to have physical immunity AND stoneskin. Needless to say, this was devastating!
Nice build. I always tell people enigma is absolutely essential for this type of char. Though I don't recommend using skels at all. 1 point in them just to get revive is all you need. Also use an a2 merc w/ might and pride. Golem's aren't too powerful so I use clay golem+decrep for uber baal/diablo so they can't attack or move for shit xD. Then you really need life tap vs meph to keep the merc alive. I also like using treach on merc to buff fade, then swap to COH. As far as Urdars go, there's plenty to be found in a5. They spawn a great deal around frigid wp. But River is a great place to farm them. Beyond this, just use corpse pop to farm monsters faster, and remember that with enigma you can telestomp bosses and focus the attacks on one monster. I don't recall if this was mentioned in the vid, but very important.

Great build, I love seeing my favorite character in his glory as a beast summoner. I just use a2 merc with might, gave him prudence and bramble for more auras. If you want to go hardcore, make a golem out of a conviction rune word. Bam every offensive increasing aura
Wow, I knew that necros could do this, but it was awe-inspiring how quickly they roasted diablo. It's a shame that summon necromancers really need top tier gear to be very effective, though. Honestly, all necromancer builds need really good gear, but especially summoning... It's also truly a shame how short the duration is on revive, which would be a game changer if it was either extended, or at max level perhaps, didn't have a duration. Would be awesome if Blizzard decided to add a runeword that could remove duration times on revive, even if it was loaded with high runes. Just having the option could add an entirely new way for us to play. (Also would be cool if they stayed even when changing games, like the iron golem does)

Hey Xtimus! Long time fan, commenting for the first time. I just made my first ladder character ever, a sorceress, on USEast last week. I have the nine minor keys, but doubt I can take the Ubers with my gear. If you’re interested, would love to play a game and team up. Don’t know if you’re interested, but thought I’d ask!
favorite thing to do so far with hero editor is take most classes defensive buffs then make the offensive side of them a sorc skill. I made hammerdin but dropped hammer and maxed all the other skills a hdin would use then played with a sorc cast skill until I found a skill I really liked and dropped the +whatever skill onto my hoto or armor.
nice in theory, but the main problem in über tristram are the countless mobs that spawn on b.net single player without them is much easier. your nec would be long dead, especially with the ranged archers and mages mephisto summons...
Its really easy to do uber trist with a summon necro on bnet. With a couple of points in bone prison and dim vision you can clog the entire ground up with prisons and with dim vision theyre blinded as well (= they wont use ranged attacks). And if for some reason you do manage to get overwhelmed you can kill 2 or 3 of them and blow up the whole screen with corpse explosion. Uber trist is ridiculously easy with a summon necro if you know how to use the necro toolkit.

I'm not trying to call you out for cheating or anything. Just curious if any of this gear is farmed, or if it's all hero editor gear to test/make vids. I know you use pluggy to play single player, which is why I'm assuming its all edited (along with Ilvl on all items) because you would need many many many rune sets to even get one perfect item. I really don't know much about the addon though, so for all I know there's increased drop rates, along with quality of life improvements (item levels shown.) If it's all edited, you should make some videos with minimum (or low) requirements to comfortably farm X (x could be keys, runes, baal, ubers, clone, etc..)
See the "x stone of jordan sold"? He's playing on public server. I don't think he can dupe hrs or gears. However it's easy to program bots to farm hrs and gears. I used to run 8 bots 24/7, return rate is about 40hrs/week.
He's not duping you idiots he's using open battlenet which allows you to go on battlenet on your single player characters and gives you access to all gear in the game
@@heyheythecat plugy mod has a feature to auto trigger soj sold to vendor periodically so you can have a chance to find clone d in single player...also unlimited stash space...access to all runewords including ladder only...and slightly better drop rates but ya this guys gotta be importing items for stuff that godly..

Really weird setup. Run A2 Offensive Merc on Nightmare for might aura and give him pride instead and you can use the clay golem to slow the ubers by a shit ton, thus neutralizing them completely. And no corpse explosion on a summon necro? ...Maxing summon resist is kinda pointless since diminishing returns kick in hard there. Also, trang gloves > magefist for summon necro. Marrowalk > waterwalk. Golem ... not gollum :)
Probably because this isn't a good guide on how to play a summoner. You can tell he just created it offline with hero editor or mods or whatever and hasn't actually played a real summoner. Also normally when you do Uber Tristram (online on closed bnet in the legacy game, or anywhere in the remaster) the Ubers spawn a lot of pesky minions, which are completely absent in this offline modded version.

Clay golem slows.. or lastwish golem, pride on a2 with AR aura I always used pride might a2 and clay golem.. if boss hits clay gets slow and zero risk Homu can get max block too, summon with leorics or something, switch weapon kills a few but they are stronger
When I was on the ladder for US East with my Necro, used to use pretty similar build. I did a few torch runs with him... but a lot easier with a good paladin build :) Such a pain in the butt to get that kind of gear even with bots... I suspect I was using a lot of duped runes but what ever lol
I started playing this game when I was 7 or 8 years in 98 99 ish. I’ve been hooked to this game but one particular reason got me very addicted. I got hacked. Not my password. In the game. My character was in full motion to another player in the game sequencing all it took to never have a reason to play again for what it was worth. My gameplay was never the same. I started making good character names for weapons inclusive to partying that you needed to bear in order to join alliances or make certain trades you needed the authorization that states it’s purpose. Currency is key to items.
i think its more effective with hoto + eth infinity merc and eth beast golem you can have more skeletons and more chance/hit damage , atleast thats how i did it on B.net

There is another way to get all your necro minions bunched together in one area without teleport. It's called Town Portal. Nowhere near as efficient though.
I would upgrade the Ww & Magefist, 1 time, than i would say the Gear is op. I always used perd upgradet Magefist,s. You need some trys but at the end it looks cool & you got over 70 Def, i thing it was 72 def for Magefists, if you upgrade them perfect. And my Merc would gear a Eth Andyface with 10ll, i thimg life leech is important for a Merc. But all in all great Build !

Nice video but honestly how many people have nothing but 100% perfect gear dropped from hell baal? Also, if you're going to go all out, you should have used a superior berserker axe. Pity cuz that Beast has a PERFECT damage roll, but alas, no 15ed/3ar bonus.

You run this build without skeletons? I've never heard of anyone doing that.
I did my necro UT without enigma. Used the staff with teleport charges and cows instead of urdars (cows have crushing blow).

sarupk i think smiters are better definetly for uber but with vigor charge desync in pvp that could work as a combo with smite for pvp
If you want a uber character, make a smiter. But if you want to pvp too, make a vindicator, otherwise will be just a smiter vs smiter in pvp

I've done uber trist in 25 seconds on bnet all I did was pop lifetap and dimvision and the monsters become useless
hiring act2 weapon infinity → enemy resistance and defence crushing blow and might skeleton can't help attack rating

Nice video but honestly how many people have nothing but 100% perfect gear dropped from hell baal? Also, if you're going to go all out, you should have used a superior berserker axe. Pity cuz that Beast has a PERFECT damage roll, but alas, no 15ed/3ar bonus.
