Thank you for being literally the only 100 reactors that haven't treated Echo as some psycho crazy person, and seeing the nuance in her actions. I've seen so many people say she's "going all Finn," when the two situations are almost entirely different. Echo, and Tasya Teles, deserve better. Also, can't wait til next episode.

Yes!! Omg exactly, the hateful bias and refusal to even try and understand her character on a basic level by most reactors and commentarys has really dulled my enjoyment of the discussion around this season
I like how they also have their ships but don’t complain constantly about what the show chooses it’s relationships
I also love how the Normies focus on the show and aren’t all about relationships as I feel most fans watch the show for the relationships while the Normies have to be one of the few reaction shows that don’t bitch or whinge about a relationship they watch the show and enjoy it and I agree Echo is one of my favourites she thought her boyfriend of 3 years was dead so obviously having a reaction like hers is normal I bet if it were Clarke most fans would be like you go Clarke
Exaaaaaacccctly, everything she did was justifiable and calculated, finn massacred a whole village for stupid reasons, the fans who hated echo wanted to hate her cuz she got bellamy and not clark, that's the portion of the fandom that i loath, they only watch it for Bellamy and nothing else, love is rarely discussed on the 100 and it's soooo much bigger than bellamy they think they're watching a lifetime movie or something

It is funny to me, many fans of this show were waiting for Bill to show up since season 4, where our characters watched the video with him, so when he showed up this episode super fans were like "yees, finally" while casual viewers "who is this guy? Should we know him?"
I watched the show twice all the way through before season 7 aired and it still took me a minute to remember that was the same person.

Eliza was supposed to direct this episode. However she was unavailable so Lindsay stepped it up. Eliza hasn't directed yet.
Eliza had a miscarriage so Lindsay replaced her at the last minute to direct the episode.

I think the original saying is "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" and Emori changed it to "The road out of hell is paved with good deeds." It makes sense because the entire premise of each season of The 100 is humanity making hard decisions based on their good intentions but those good intentions lead them to killing, torture and other cruelties (i.e. the road the hell). Now that Murphy believes he has seen hell and is worried about dying and going back, Emori's words is encouraging him to focus on doing good deeds rather than making choices based on good intentions. From sending 100 kids to the potentially fatal earth to every action that followed, humanity's good intentions have been the reason for evil deeds. Emori is talking about doing away with intensions and simply doing good.
Emori says "the road out of hell" because Murphy says he went to hell. And now he's trying to work his way out of going to hell.

They literally showed videos of Cadogan talking in season 4 when they were looking for the bunker hahaha......... and they said his name multiple times

To the best of my knowledge Cadogan name wa never explicitly said, however in the second dawn video that was shown during season 3, his name appeared on screen. Also Becca referred to him by his surname only, while being burned at the stake, in one of maddie's visions.
I know this is old but I finished the 100 recently and I'm going through the normies reactions. And when the normies were making fun of the fact that jaha had a tablet and that post-apocalyptic world the tablet definitely had video of Bill cadigan talking and had his name at the bottom of the video. I just wanted to get that out since I'm so late on this show and the reactions to the show lol

Exactly there were no build up whatsoever so it hard to accept them as a couple. While Bellarke has been teased over and over again since season one it feels now like the writers been using and manipulating the fans shipping them.

@@kashvimiglani4640 yes true he said that they were told by Jason to play it romantically .. the actor playing Cadegon also in an interview today said that when he got the rewrites for 7x13 he was so shocked he couldn't believe it, he also thought that Bellmay and Clarke should have ended up together. He praised Eliza and Bob for being professional and so nice to work with. I just hate what the writers did this season out of spite. Bob also said that he didn't watch the show after season 5, he was not well during season 6 because of his injury and it was affecting his mental health as well so the show kind of ended for him in season 5, he read all the scripts but never watched after 5. He said that because of what happened to him 6 and the production company didnt help him during S6 he needed to take some time off in S7. They could have used the time he gave them WAY better than what they did, it says so much that an actor that joined the cast in S7 playing bill cadegon was shocked at what happened and thought the Bellarke would definitely happen yet the writers who teased the relationship for so many years and asked the actors to keep playing it romantically went against it. Bob even said that even if they were never gonna end up together they should have at least allowed them to tall about how they felt for each other, since it was all romantic. He specifically mentioned that regardless of what Jason thinks they told them to play romantically and they were written romantically and they played it that way. In my opinion this all points on how jason baited the fans and manipulated them all for views all over the years, and when Bob asked for time out he rewrote the whole thing out of spite, he could have used the time Bob had in S7 way BETTER if you know what I mean. Also, by writing Eliza the way they did starting from ep. 13 they assassinated her character, there is no way she would have done all that %#&$$&&$. Bob even mentioned that the Clarke we all know wouldn't have done that. And it also didn't make sense or even was helping the plot. The way the other characters reacted was also bad spiteful writing. The whole plot this season is to benefit his prequel where they could have honored 7 years by writing an intelligent story that honors the OG cast. Sorry for the long reply I just still feel bad about how this show ended.
