For those who are planning to buy one keep notes of these:
*If you're planning to add analog extenders like Kontrol Freaks, make sure the size that you're going to buy are like the PS4 ones since they have the same size.
*Also note that there's a squeaky sound when you do the full circular motion of the sticks.
Overall performance is great for an alternative option to the Xbox pro controllers. I love the backbuttons and the price is great. Controller has zero input lag like the original ones. I just wish they made the bumpers as crisp as the series s/x controllers....

    Your review style is fantastic!
    - I’ve tried a few budget pro controllers and have been daily driving the G7 on Forza Horizon 5. I recently got the G7 SE to experience that Hall effect stick vibe.
    - Comparing the two, the sticks on the G7 SE are more precise and you can set the deadzone a little lower for even more precise movement over the G7. The hall triggers also provide a smoother and more precise output when giving half brake or throttle, for example. Although I miss the clicky buttons, these membranes seem to be not far behind for now

One thing I noticed when reading reviews for both is that there seemed to be far more bad reliability reviews with the mechanical buttons on the G7 compared to the membranes on the SE. Im going to say this having played with it tonight just got it. This is the best controller fir xbox period. That raw mode for the sticks when playing cod is almost like cheating. The only reason they probably told you not to review is, is because this has been out for over a month or two but they STILL didnt release any of the custom faceplates (like they excessively advertise) they had a competition for. Like honestly how hard is it to just slap some color and shapes on a faceplate they already manufacture.

The T4 Kaleid still seems like the best bang for buck option for the PC crowd. Hall sticks, mechanical buttons, and 1k Hz poll rate through the software. If someone could take that and add wireless + 2 more back buttons it would be perfect.

With the Kaleid, I you have to turn down the lights every time you turn that thing on. Annoying. Also - I think it uses different Hall effect stick as its error rate in rotation is much higher. Shape is also different, too wedgy for many. No Xbox compatibility also means lower native compatibility in some games. For PC, I'd go with the G7 SE.

My GameSir T4W still kicking with zero drift after 2k hours so I think I'm good for now. Pretty sure we will see a pro version of this controllers in the future. GameSir is surely testing the market. Its just ridiculous that the actual main brand doesnt even make controllers with these types of joysticks. I strongly believe that they keep the controllers shitty just to keep making us pay more and more money every year or every other year depending on how much you play. Even the $180 elite controllers have shitty joysticks and its just inexcusable..

The only thing I wanted to ask for or plead(lol) if you have the time is to make a “Best of round up” controllers/ accessory/ products video maybe once a month or couple months if you had the time. I know your a busy guy, but I think it would really help me and others find the best quality products in your honest opinion.
I think most of your subscribers including me trust you and at this point your opinion holds a lot of weight since you’re so transparent with your videos. Now, the most important aspect, the thumbsticks. They are very precise with zero dead zones and no drifting. There is a suitable material around the thumbsticks, and they move very smoothly at maximum tilt, unlike other controllers. Whether it's prone to malfunctions, only time will tell.

Before overclocking, when I use to press and hold Xbox button to start my xbox, it took 2 sec to show power light. While after overclocking it shows the power light in ms, not sec. I have noticed the difference. After playing for a while overclocked at 1000hz (whether it supports or not) I overclocked it to default to see any difference and I can say it felt slow and sluggish at default.

@@alanz561 I've been playing with mine daily and the experience has been pretty good. I can't speak on how long the product will hold up over time but for the price I think it's a fine controller. I've had several other much more expensive controllers from Scuf, Razer, Thrustmaster, Nacon, etc. and this one is better. No deadzone, no drift, good circularity, decently low latency, turbo/macro/gyro, zero issues with the included 2.4ghz dongle, mechanical face buttons as well as toggle-able triggers. It took me a few days to get used to the back button placement and you can't cover all 4 simultaneously but I'm fine with them. They're still miles better than many other manufacturers implementations and there's actually FOUR of them, plus 2 additional face buttons that you can bind to. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The only 'downside' I've found is the thumbsticks definitely need slip on covers because they're kinda slippery imo, and Kontrolfreeks do not fit.

I bought the controller a week ago. It feels amazing, and I like the software and customization. But it has some significant issues:
    1) The view and menu buttons are terribly placed. It's difficult to press the view button with the left thumb, but if you put a KontrolFreek on the left stick, it's basically impossible. I had to map the view button to the left backside button.
    2) The USB-C port is inside an enclosure and it's very hard to fit a 3rd party USB cable in there. I tried connecting two different cables and none of them would go in. That's a terrible design. I wanted to use a short 0.5 m cable and plug it into a USB extender whenever I want to use the controller. Maybe I can find a cable that fits.
If they made a wireless version of this controller and placed the view and menu buttons lower, I'd probably buy one right away.
