After watching dozens of reviews here on GamerHeaven and from other reputable reviewers like vCuda, VK, etc. ranging from entry level to high end products. I've come to the conclusion that this might be the best "base" controller you can buy for the money. Sure, it doesn't have trigger stops, 4 back buttons, and a few other nice to haves, but what it does do is get all of the basics right. It's got well calibrated hall effect sticks, decent ABXY micro switches, good hall effect triggers, good back button positioning and a comfortable design. The only slight downfall is it's DPAD, however in my use case it's only a minor annoyance as I only use the DPAD for navigating menus and using items in games, would've preferred an 8 point rolling similar to the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra but it's passable. As far as sticks, face buttons, and triggers go it seems to hit the nail on the head which not many controllers do at this price category and even some above. Yes, it's not aimed at people looking for a full spec pro controller but I'd say it's a great replacement for a standard pad if you're concerned with longevity and performance and a good step into the 'pro' controller realm for people who don't wanna dive into premium tier controllers.
Also, for anyone wants to know, you CAN overclock the Kaleid and Kalied flux. But i had issues updating the software. The solution was to manually force an update in the T4 Software, by holding the xbox and start menu button when plugging it in, then I had to update it in the nexus software. That fixed my issue and i can finally use the 1000hz, and its on its way to replace my g7se

I'm asking myself the same question. My classic xbox controller got stick drift so I've been scouring the internet for my next gamepad. I think after watching tons of reviews and reading tons of reddit posts, I'm going to go with the "OG" T4 Kaleid. It just has all the features I want which sucks because this newer Kaleid should be an upgrade but lacks the nice face buttons of the old one.

the difference between the flux and the other is mainly just rgb and membrane buttons aswell as the software doesn’t seem to recognize the flux, however i don’t own any gamesir controllers so don’t take my word for it

I even used the same software you are using to check it was actually overclocked and it is. Currently I hot glue the ends of zip ties on my triggers to make a trigger stop.
The question is: is there an upgrade in performance when jumbing from t4k to kalied or it's just related to buttons and moding them ?
Do we know if this one will have the ability to OC at some point, or are we stuck with yet another Gamesir controller that has 75% of the features we want, but not all?
Pretty sure gamesir has a tutorial on their website. It's a little hard to find though
I hope the d pad is clicky and nice
Ok so I watched the video on the original T4 Kaleid and was sold on it, but decided to check this video out just in case this new Kaleid was better. But I guess it seems the OG is still a bit better?
other than the mechanical buttons, i dont see why this is so expensive compared to the g7 se they have? the value of the g7 se is hard to beat and they are basically the same controller in features
Just bought a g7 se couldn’t ask for more decent price good for shooters was interested in the cosmetic look of the kalid but turnd out the g7 had much better in the input speed and if you are lucky and have low ping man you cankill
thank you for wonderful videos, I play dragon's crown and other beat'em up games, sometimes street fighter, diablo4 like games, should I choose t4 cyclone pro or direwolf2 ? I like the Dpad of direwolf2 but the ciruclarity test is better on T4/g7 se?thank you
Don’t worry to much about the circularity test
@@GamerHeavenOfficial thank you!!
Should i get the kaleid or the g7 se ? Please let me know
I like the T4 Kaleid over the G7 SE. So I would say buy the new Kaleid.
They should've given it another name to save on confusion. Just call it the gamesir another lateral move. All we want is the gamesir stealth pro ultra, minus the screen.
Correct 👍🏼
I have the T4kaleid I bought over a year ago, was thinking of grabbing the new kaleid thoughts?
bought my T4 Kaleid 6 months ago and it has survived nearly 1,200 hours of FPS abuse
Wich one is the absolute best out of it all for PC ? There are so many options from gamesir, flydigi, 8bitdo, etc... What is the best controller ???
I'm asking myself the same question. My classic xbox controller got stick drift so I've been scouring the internet for my next gamepad. I think after watching tons of reviews and reading tons of reddit posts, I'm going to go with the "OG" T4 Kaleid. It just has all the features I want which sucks because this newer Kaleid should be an upgrade but lacks the nice face buttons of the old one.
I am very experienced in hall effect controllers, and my choice today, and for the last year, has been the T4 Kaleid. KK3 Max is at the same level, with the plus of having 4 rear buttons, but for some reason my daily driver is the T4 Kaleid. My Apex 4 is on the way, so I cannot comment on it yet.
@@blorbb5398 I ordered the new games Kaleid with the smoked out face and it is awesome I love this controlller
A little hot glue and you just made the best trigger stops
my g7 still works fine, I've had a issue where my trigger activates without me pressing it. But I fixed it by just holding the rt button with full force for like 40 seconds.
I bought t4 kaleid and headphone jack is not working on x input when i switch to ps4 input mod headphone jack works what is the problem can you help my? Am i missing drivers or what?
Same happens with me just use it on ps4 input
hey bro i wonder something i have the kaleid and g7 se
kaleid arrive just a few days ago, after i try it have a bad point justonly one and its microswitch dpad for fighting games, it is really hard to do combos, with g7 se is so easy.. but let me tell you what is good bc is a lot..
1000hz native windows 10
500 hz with audio
vibration feels much more stronger and deep even in level 3 it is better than the g7 se in level 4..
RGB for more fps :v
i think im gonna sell this kaleid and buy the flux one bc i think is just the same but with membrane, doesnt it?
the difference between the flux and the other is mainly just rgb and membrane buttons aswell as the software doesn’t seem to recognize the flux, however i don’t own any gamesir controllers so don’t take my word for it
you also get a hall effect t4k version
dunno but it seems the price went 20€ up with this "upgrade version.".. it's 65€ now for Kaleid and no more T4 Kaleid in store which was 40€ when I check couple months back.
sure 60€ is cheap for a these specs, but it was around 40€ when I checked it out couple months back. I regret so much not buying the T4 Kaleid then.
We need the new Razor Wolverine V3 reviewed, please.
Quick question can you use ds4 windows with the gamesir khaleid? Im using it for cod yy macros
after more time with them, would you say get the "xbox" kaleid, or the T4 for the gyro?
Does anyone know if you can make it so that when you have hair triggers turned on it doesn’t activate the rgb when pressed? Thanks in advance
I followed your buy guide and bought a gamesir but never arrived, still waiting for a refund 3 months after :)
Does this new updated Kaleid still have the same turbo function you demonstrated in your t4k review? Please if anyone knows the answer lmk.
PLEASE HELP! I have only had this controller for 1 day I have the one that's not the flux and not the original t4 I'm having one major issue if i turn my series x off with it the second my console turns off it immediately powers it back on only work around i have found was to turn the console off and immediately unplug controller or it will turn my series x back on every single time and when i plug the controller back in to turn my console on the xbox button on the controller won't turn the console back on is this a firmware issue will it be solved with an update or should i return it and get a different one??? If i wasn't having this issue and they had paddle locks like the g7 se this pad would get a 10 out of 10 for me.
I had the same - update it with the t4 app
Thanks so much I really appreciate it fixed the issue I was having immediately! Big Ups!
I bought the Kaleid for Xbox after enjoying the T4 for PC for a long time. The Xbox Kaleid has no turbo button functions like the T4. Huge bummer.
Do you know if there’s any Xbox controllers that have turbo button functions???
Im looking for a new PC controller, xinput preferably with xbox layout, but I need to know which one is the most wuiet controller, the Xbox series controllers have a very loud and clickity claky noise, I have been using my switch pro controller which is super quiet, but id prefer an actual xinput and xbox layout for PC
Is it better than the gamesir se? I had to return that controller because of the analog sticks. Felt off
Off in which way? The sticks on the g7 lineup are shorter than most other sticks. In the original kaleid they were a but higher for example.
I had the same issue with the flux... i tried everything gamesir said giving them licenses in my pc etc etc but game nexus didnt recognised the flux even i tried with a 2nd flux but the result was the same, finally i had to refund both because i was interested in the 1000hz ft
Does only the old kaleid t4k have the gyroscope? Do the newer kaleids have a gyroscope too?
Kontrol freek precision rings do not fit properly on the kaleid controllers. There is no issue with the g7 se. It is really annoying
23:27 does the T4 Kaleid work on Ps4-Ps5 with the adapter?
It has a ps mode it should work without adapter
How does this compare to the G7 SE?
I have and am currently using the original T4K and I'm running it overclocked at 1000Hz polling rate directly through the T4 software. I even used the same software you are using to check it was actually overclocked and it is. Does this mean the new Kaleid is polling rate locked at 250Hz or can it also go up to 1000Hz through the app like the previous T4K can?
I’ve only seen the overclocking option on the game sir Nexus application but I’ve never seen it in the T4 app, maybe I’m missing a tab or setting. I’ll get back to you on that.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Definitely look into it. My T4k is 1000hz, and I've heard there's away to get slightly more than 1000hz on the Xbox Kaleid. I was looking forward to seeing you test the polling rate of the Xbox Kaleid at 1000hz.
Should I get g7 se or kaleid for Fortnite?
This new kaleid or g7se for pc ?
these are my only two options from gamesir
thanks.
Which gamesir xbox controller is best for sports and fighting games?
Are you sure you’ve tested sticks without default software locked deadzones?
I lost it at “this many plus 10 girlfriends”
Thoughts on the epindon hall effect modules for the victrix?
had the t4k for a while, still don't know how to get the earphone jack to work.
No mention of the missing six axis gyro from the T4?
just bought t4 kaleid the OG one and it keeps on disconnecting from the t4k app can someone help? did the home plus icon button but still the same
kaleid xbox vs g7 se?
Will these support 1000Hz in a future update, similarly to the T4?
Yep, they do as of now. Got 1000hz working on my Kaleid
When I used a silicon sleeve thumbstick cap on the left T4 stick it would rub up against the casing when I would roll up/right direction, there just wasnt enough room. Is this any different on the new ones?
i'm experiencing the same on my t4k i've ordered some kontrolfreeks omni low profile stick extenders hopefully i'll get with them
How the same thing with my Kontrol freaks on my g7se
So which is better the new kaleid or the og
Awe i don't know why they cant have all the features they have on their controllers with 4 rear buttons.I will pay double just to have it all.
GAMESIR KALEID!
I just want a wireless controller like this for Xbox why is it so hard
my controller keeps disconnecting and i’m not sure what’s causing it
do u think scuf gonna release a ps5 controller with a custom format like the scuf impact with he sticks in the next vew months because that would be insane especially beacuse of bo6 coming
Hoy do you connect it to the switch? Mine is not recognized
The app lets you overclock the t4 kaleid to 1000hz. What about the new kaleid?
According to the discord. The new Kaleid will have that feature in the future. Currently you have to overclock it manually from their website.
You can Update the app and controller manual on PC and use 1000hz.
You find updated on gamesir.
And you can aktivated the 1000hz then on PC and use on xbox.
good day. no turbo button on all 3 controllers?
If only they made a 4 button controller.
anyone know of the optimal app/ingame settings for max aim assist in halo would be? Stock settings seem like I basically don't get aim assist anymore in the game with the kaleid/g7se
Why does every cheaper controller maker not like to make good 4 back button designs 😢😢
YO, doesn't the app allow you to change it to 1000 hz?!?!
Lol shouldve got this instead of the G7 SE.
G7 is just a touch too small for me. Xbox Series controllers feel wonderful in my hands, and it's mildly uncomfortable switching to the G7 SE.
daca nu greșesc mai este o diferență neanunțată și anume: Kaleid xbox are 4 motoare vibratoare față de 2 la t4 Kaleid
Next up:Asus rog tessen vs the gamesir PlayStation edition mobile controller
I just wish I could get my T4 to work on Xbox. I tried using a Brook adapter and it handles pretty much anything I use but the T4 wouldnt comply.
Wouldn’t comply. I like the way you talk
