    You need to put a kitchen towel cloth inside the pot to prevent the bottle breaking from hot water...and if you blend the mixture after being slightly cooled in the refrigerator, it turns into a cream.
    Thanks Brother for sharing with the world, because, both castor oil and shea butter are natural and healthy for the skin. God Bless ❤ 2:12

    TY for this. I have never been ble to make use of pure shea butter because of its granularity. I have definitely been increasing my use of caster oil. Now I can get better use of both components. ❤

      You are so welcome!, that’s similar reason for me as well, I love natural shea butter, but it. takes too long to rub in palm to be used due to is thought texture when solid, so this blend makes it so much easer to use.

      if you get a glass jar that is thick glass, it can handle the heat. Only a thin glass would probably break.

      Ball jars or Kerr jars or other generic canning jars are designed to handle heat in hot water on the stove. That is what canning jars are for.

      @@letuswalkinthelightofthelo5350 yeap, that’s what I recently learned, which is why I prefer to use the glass jar instead of double boiler method which would cause me to have to pour it into the jar after it melts. I like to do things in simple ways as possible.

      Your welcome, yeah it really helps, it absorbs great into the skin. The blend of shea butter and castor oil makes it not too sticky and not too oily.

    What is the ratio? I know you said 16 ounce cup that you use but how much of the Shea butter versus the castor oil? thank you so much in advance.👏

      TBH, im not big on doing math when making certain stuff. The most I can suggest is from trial and error experiment. What I suggest is doing how I put only a small amount of castor oil. Then as the shea butter liquefies, and castor oil to it based on the amount of liquid the shea butter is producing when melted.

    Did you use Black Jamaican Castor Oil?

      Yes, for this I used black Jamaican Castor oil. However overall any castor oil is still good to use.

    what are your measurements please? I know you have a 16oz cup with caster , however if I'm going to make it I'll need to know how much castor and shea I need

    • @holistichealthfaqs
      @holistichealthfaqs  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It all depends on the amount you plan to make. However do not overthink it. The only factor to think about is that shea butter when in it solid form amounts to a different amount when it liquid. So all I can suggest first make the shea butter melt into its liquid form, if its not enough add more shea butter to increase the liquids form amount, then match that amount of liquid with the castor oil.

    Is it possible to make just a whipped castor oil butter?

    • @holistichealthfaqs
      @holistichealthfaqs  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a good question, honestly what you would probably have to do is wait until the blend cools to the soft solid texture and the. Whip it to see what happens.
