Great looking soap. I want to make it, looks like a super nice soap. Thank you for the recipe and detailed instructions.
Thank you so much for this video. I have been making soap for about 2 months only and I have tried other recipes but this is the recipe I was really hoping to find and fully understand. Thank you.
It is a simple but beautiful soap! It was so beautiful when the sun came in as you made the soap by the window! The blurry forest through the window was also really beautiful! Soap and everything went well!
Thank you so much! I am so blessed with the location and the windows of my soapmaking office:)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RECIPE.
Thanks for the recipe :) I made it yesterday. It smells so good because of the shea butter. Will update once it's cured and I have used it.
So glad I found you here too💃🏽
Love your recipe of Olive Coconut & Shea butter seems a very LUXURIOUS HANDMADE SOAP
Thank you so much for all of the good information in explaining the process. This bar of soap is beautiful and I can't wait to watch your other videos. Do you think that some sea salt could be added to the recipe or just better to put it on the top? Once again thank you so much!!!!!
Always enjoy your videos thank you for sharing your recipe.....is there a way that you could possibly make a video walking us through the soapcalc.....that thing is so daunting to me 😬! Thank you I would like to make sure that I'm "doubling" this correctly.
I just made this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing this 🙏
made it too but its 900 g wondering if i want to make more than 1kg what water and super fat percentafe should put.. hmm
how much essential oils did you add to the soap?
Thank you for sharing can you advise how you leave it to cure ? Does it need wrapping or oven processing ?
Thanks
thanks so much for this , made it and they are WONDERFUL ! I want to make 1 kg and wondering what to put in soap calc in water % and superfat so they turn out the same , could you help me?
Thank you! Beautiful soap! Where do you order de fragrance and powder? Didn’t get it! Thank you!
What fragrances did you use? Such a nice soap. Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful color.
Great job✌🏽 I just subscribed
Thank you so much☺️
I love the color 🤍💜
Thank you!
Lovely recipe!! Just tried it, waiting for it to cure!!
how was it?? thinking about trying
@@user-rv5hn2ye9m very good results!! Hard bar, lots of bubbles!
A good place to buy your base oils is Columbus foods in Illinois. I used to make my own soaps & sell them but now I’m retired. You can buy their oils in 7 lb jugs
Hi, how much fragrance oil do i add to get a 4% ratio? Confused
Can you use this recipe for hot process soap?
Hi, just happened on your page, this soap looks easy and I am planning on making it this week. I am pretty new to this and don’t quite understand the calculator thing (it’s a math problem I have lol). Would you be able to say how much essential oils you are using for this exact recipe. Thank you so much.
What can I add to make a garden soap?
If i only have 125g of shea butter can i make up for the rest with mango butter?
How did you melt the shea butter and oils? Did you use a stove or what??
What can we use instead of astor
Can you use a stand mixer instead of a hand blender?
Thanks for this video. At point 4:09 you added something twice, what would it be?
What was your usage rate for the Essential Oils. I know spearmint is very low
How much essential oils?
How much of the essential oils did you use? You didn’t list that or the superfat. Thx
Very easy look at that block of silicon is 1000 grams very simple. Add 25-35% of Essentail oils and those oils is 350 Coconut oils, 350 Olive oils 200 Castor & 100 grams of shea butter us the soap calculator its very easy..😂
Instead of castor oil could I use almond oil
Is this self on the soft side, or is it a creamy soap? Could it be used for babies?
Could write where you purchase oils in discription box please😊
Hi Ashley, what was your superfat in this bar?
Where did you get your mold and cutter?
How much fragrance and color to add in the soap? And will Lavender scent mix good with this soap?
I have the same question
Hiii!! Is there anyway I can make this without castor oil? If so, how much (in percentage) I can use of shea butter? Cause I've been searching a lot for recipes like that cause I want to make an oat soap, but people always say you can use only around 10% of shea butter or the soap will get too hard. Thank you very much!
Use a lye calculator to create your very own recipe. Like Soap Calc or the one from Bramble Berry
Do you heat all the oils together
Where did you get your powder color for this ?
Can I double this soap recipe?
Have the melted oils between 90-100 degrees as well as the lye solution?
Yes! That will be best to try to avoid a crack in the top of the loaf
How many grams of essential oils do you add?
Would like to know how much water and how much lye. Couldn’t find that in recipe
Use a soap calculator
Learn the basics of soapmaking, don't just copy a recipe.
You should also learn lye safety and why you use different ratios of caustic soda, water and oils
Girl....soapgoods or wholesale supply will save you a fortune on cost per batch....I pay 74.86 for 4 gallons of coconut 76 degree oil. The shipping is free at wholesale supply and they have nice sales and coupons. I check the website daily for sales. Both companies have wonderful scents and essential oils. I save a ton ordering in bulk....took me a bit to buy things but, my profit doubled per batch once I did. Hope this helps you.
You are so kind! I’ll check them out💛
Where do you get your lye? Can you make it without lye?
You cannot make real soap without lye. It disappears during the saponification process
Can i ask, why did you do a water discount in this, im going to make this, thank you for all you do.
If I am not mistaken, water discount adds to creaminess of soap.
Do you have to use lye? Is there a more healthier alternative?
Lye makes soap. There's 0 remaining after saponification. Without sodium hydroxide, you will just have fats.
Do you know what the ph is of the soap
Could I omit the castor and up one of the other oils?
Recipe?
Is this soap foaming or not?
I tried this recipe and yes it foams up well.
Has anyone used this as a shampoo?
What is actually the lye?
Lye is also known as Sodium hydroxide for making Handmade Soaps.Plus it’s a very alkaline substance.
Also known as Caustic soda
Seems OO is too much. More like 160 gms is the right amount. Is there a typo here
olive oil amount looks good
You really want to make good soap. Blend up a coconut and use the pumice!
Could you plz put ingredients in percentages instead of grams?
Also what was the superfat please!
25% Coconut oil/25%Shea Butter/40%Olive Oil/10%Castor
Then use a lye calculator!

Can you please share your superfat percentage?
The superfat % is 5! (:
Where the heck is the link to your store??
MyHealthySoap.com :)
So just to verify, there was no palm oil used in this recipe at all…correct?
Nope!
Awesome! Cause I ran out & I was desperately looking for soap recipes with no palm in it. Thanks a bunch ❤ 🙏🏾
? This is a cold process
Big lots has better price on the coconut oil but is not organic
Thats where I buy my coconut oil, super cheap. I buy my olive oil from walmart. I used some high price olive oil from Costco before but I couldn't tell the difference between that and cheaper olive oil.
