    • @getreadytotube
      @getreadytotube 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Apparently this was the one of many attempts. First, they tried to glue the tracking device to the hornet's body. That didn't work because the glue dried off. Then, they tried to tie a tracking device with dental floss. The hornet got a way too quickly before scientists could lock in on a signal. After many other attempts, they were finally able to track down the nest. Hope they do a documentary with all that footage they got.

I went to Japan to visit family and and went for a run outside then heard a. Loud buzzing above me but it sounded like a hummingbird. It was one of those Giant Japanese Hornets. I turned right around and ran as fast as possible to my grandfather’s place and that was the last run outside I did while in Japan lmao. This is extremely serious. Bee's are responsible for an enormous vital amount of the pollination that goes on in our ecosystems. With these giant hornets invading North America, the bee population, that is already threatened & diminishing due to pesticides use & other environmental issues, is struggling to survive. There is another aggressive African hybrid bee that is growing in population along the west coast & in Arizona. These bees were bred in South America & have swarmed & killed both people & livestock as well as honey & bumble been hives/ colonies. This is no joke.
