@@AnthonyRecenello yes, the other girls were reliant on Kourtney exposing the most of herself on their show & went after her when she started to pull back from showing it all like they had gotten away with throughout. There's no reason for it to have gotten that nasty if Kourtney didn't want to work as much. If someone can support themselves there's nothing wrong with not wanting to throw yourself into work. I think there's an unfair attack on how bad Kourtney was.

They have a really great relationship so far and the way he supports her and is so warm and gentle with her is beautiful.

I was re-watching old clips of keeping up with the Kardashians… (Like from season one) and Kourtney was like this with Scott. I think they had their first cheating scandal in season two, and overtime Kourtney became less and less touchy with Scott.

I never thought about it like that Scott's parents are both passed away and his whole life even since they haven't been together it seems like he's been a part of the family so deeply now everybody doesn't want to cross boundaries they don't know what the boundaries are it's awkward they want to invite Scott but they don't want to make it weird so then it ends up being weird no matter what that would be a tricky situation but I definitely think that Scott and Courtney are so much better as friends I really never got the vibe they were anything more
Problem is that Scott doesn't take Kourtney in relationships well. He made threats against Younes & who knows what has really gone on with Travis. That DM he sent Younes gives an example he was more difficult. Kourtney was actually at his bday party a few months after it was made public that she was with Travis so what did he do? We haven't gotten the whole story. And Kourtney attempted in the past to try to get space as shown on KUWTK, but her family still pushed him on her at everything so she accepted that, but obviously Scott really doesn't want to see Kourtney with Travis.
When they're not making out, they're on their phones. Their relationship seems strictly physical. I'd love to see them have a disagreement, ya know, just to see how they resolve conflict.

You're right he just loves Kourtney and want to be with her for the rest of his life, unlike Scott who cares a lot about the Kardashian dynasty and dynamics and what he can get out of networking with them whether its for monetary or social or familial gains. Huge difference
I'm not a physical touch person but I do put up with it. I had practice putting up with family members who are such physical touch people. It thought me to just hug or hold the other person cause it makes them feel loved. I think that's the point of love language though. It's not so much, what they can give me. It's also, loving the other person the way they want to be loved or expressing it in a way they feel it.
The average person is affectionate in the beginning of a relationship. Once discord enter into picture, Coldness occurs. You begin to become strained, uncomfortable, nit thrilled as much. Some people can make out at a funeral service, if allowed?

My fiancé and I are just like them. But we tone it down around our kids but still are very affectionate. My fiancé is always asking what he can do for me. My pregnancy had me bedridden for over two weeks and he stepped in to do all the housework after a 10 plus hr work day, went to the store for everyone and all my crazy cravings,even took care of my kids without even thinking or askin’ for anything in return ( I have two teen from another marriage)He always refers to my kids as “our kids”, calls them his family (along with his family doing the same) and always puts them first. He’s there for me every single moment and from the moment we met, he starts his day with a message to me about our love. I can’t tell u how much that texts pushes me to keep moving (pregnant and heath issues) I do the same for him in return. It’s amazing when u find someone who speaks your love language but loves u how u deserve to be loved even through hard times or a moment of disagreement, we never end the day being angry with each other (even if the disagreement is still going) . It’s wild having a. Healthy relationship and a huge eye opener to what dangerous and toxic relationships I subjected myself too in the past. Don’t settle ever because their is someone out there who will treat you with all that u deserve, you’ll never have to ask to be loved or for them to stop hurting you. Every day you’ll see the love grow and even the smalllest moments are bliss. ❤

Honestly, I’ve been in love like this before. Your friends and family cringe and get so annoyed, but is there any better feeling? When you literally could just stare at each other forever, can’t keep your hands of each other. I wish was in a relationship like that right now. 😅😂

I do LOVE their happiness and wish them the best, but I also think it seems important to point out the major red flags Travis has. He acted EXACTLY like this with his ex on their reality show but it didn't last. He MIGHT be a love-bombing, cheating, covert narcissist, luring her into FULLY trusting him before messing with her mind off camera. I hope not, I hope he's just as kind as he appears. He cheated on his ex and dated Kim a bit. He said he moved to L.A. TO DATE Kourtney in advance. Isn't that a bit stalker like? Maybe he really wanted Kim and ended up wooing Kourtney. IDK.. this world is just crazy and these ladies are so rich that they are suseptible to more con-artists than an average person. I know he has his own money but why is such a gentle soul covered in skulls and dark stuff?
Travis also got out of a toxic marriage at some point during his life (not sure if the one you're referring to is that one), he is a kind soul, hates conflict and just loves to wear dark outfits

Well I'm very against heavy PDA (bad personal experience), but I'll admit those two seem to read enjoy each other presence ans be grateful for what they have and that's pretty beautiful to see. It's also interesting to know that in Hulu's S1 Kourtney was super unhappy about the editing she and Travis got on the show, which means someone in the production team decided to just show their uncomfortable PDA and nothing else.

They still chose to do it in public which led to it getting filmed. Also they are well aware that they're filmed so often, if you don't want it out there- keep it in the bedroom. Periodt. They have themselves to blame.
@@AnthonyRecenello it was in an episode in season 2 when she was on the floor of a bedroom talking to her friend Stephanie. she didn't like how, in the proposal episode in season 1, the editing made it seem like the convo she had w her sisters about Scott after she called her kids was made into a bigger deal then the 2 second convo that it was.

Affection is GREAT ♡ Love is FAB ♡ but I think it's gone too far for a lot of viewers because life isn't only about mounting and making out, especially in front of kids, and step kids- even more. It sort of leans into love bombing and unhealthy attachment, especially knowing their backgrounds. If they are as happy as they look, and have enough money for help with life, then yeah, go hard, just try not to embarrass your kids. But also, they need to be really concious/in counselling about breaking past patterns.

It's better than Travis trying to flirt w all her sisters like Scott mad creepy and inappropriate w his comments. I think it's enough interactions w the rest of the family. I'm also sure they talk about deep topics outside of what's being recorded and I don't think I need to see that to know that. They have enough kids between the two of them to focus on. Travis kids hangs out w the Kardashians too so plenty of interactions. Remember the family is huuuge. Can't be super close to everyone, no time for that. I'm glad he's super focused on Kourtney and their kids, predominantly.

Personally, I just don't think it will work out. Mainly because we don't see those deep conversations. It could be because they are in the "honeymoon phase" who knows? I think about when she was single and she didn't seem like she had it together. I didn't seem like who she knew who she was and she hops into a relationship and changes her style and attitude which is great for her but makes you question , if the relationship does end. She would be in a spiral because she didn't put that time to find who she is and love who she was. It could also be that maybe she does need a man to tell her that she is beautiful and compliment her body and just need the general confidence boost but it does make you wonder what happens when that is gone.

I personally think it's all for the cameras. He wants to be relevant. She wants to be wanted. The way he talks to her is way to textbook. The look on her face is almost like she knows that but enjoys the attention. I'm sure they have some love for one another, but definitely not the show they put on for the cameras.

Just from casual observations of couples that I’ve seen over the years, I’ve noticed a pattern: the ones who are desperate to keep their crumbling relationship together usually overdo PDA right before they break up.
But, as cringey as these two are, they actually seem like the real deal; as if they’re so grateful to actually have true love and almost can’t believe it so they’re constantly making sure it’s not a dream. I truly believe they’re in it for life.

I’ve witnessed a few couples (in my personal life) who right before they have a big break up, publicly try to prove to themselves and others that they are still going “strong” by being super affectionate in public then come to find out they were both verbally abusive to one another in private; these people even renewed their vows only to get a divorced 7 months later.
Another married couple example: they were constantly kissing at this birthday party and would place their make out sessions in the middle of the dance floor, making sure EVERYONE could see and guess what? Divorced a few months after that. Even in my own recent relationship, my ex was giving me so much compliments and being super affectionate for a week or so then SUDDENLY blurted out “Let’s just break up! I don’t think I can handle a relationship right now.” Nothing had changed except for his intensity with his affection leading up to our break up.
Maybe what I’ve seen and experienced was a fluke and that’s it. Maybe most PDA couples are strong. 🤷🏻♀️

I am putting them down! There are ways to show how you love somebody even with PDA, That's appropriate! You don't have to don't you don't have to suck on each other's tongue To show your children what A happy marriage is! There is a middle ground, I promise you.

This constant gross affection is such a show. It is way over the top in front of kids. Hugs & kisses are ok, but crawling all over each other is too much

I have to assume you don't have any personal experience with BPD because there's a very good chance that this isn't true and anyone who's had any personal experience with this understands the volitility of this disorder.
When you're dealing with a cluster B personality, there is never a discernable escalation for you to be aware of. For "normal" people, emotional escalation is slow and steady and you can track it as it occurs, therefore you can get in front of it. For someone with BPD, it's very literally like a switch being flipped and oftentimes the catalyst is unidentifiable to anyone but the person with BPD.
It's not a matter of "letting" it get to that point, it's like a force of nature that you're utterly powerless against. Trying to predict it or head it off is an effort in futility because there is truly no reasoning or logic to it.
Also of note, and this isn't applicable to BPD in general but it's relevant to this circumstance, Johnny mentioned retreating from confrontation with Amber as a standard means of deescalating. Unfortunately, because of the volitility of BPD, it only enraged her more. In that circumstance, there truly isn't anything you can do to prevent escalation because it isn't coming from you, something was triggered in THEM. In the context of the healthy coping mechanisms one COULD attempt to prevent aggression, he actually did what he should've to try to walk it back. Unfortunately, it just wasn't possible to do.
What scares me is a narcissist at first will pay attention to exactly everything you like and adore the other person and then become that person for them. Then the honeymoon starts to fade away and the other person starts to make excuses for the narcissist hoping they'll become the person they thought they were in the beginning. Is this why he's pulling away from Kourtney and Rocky. I saw it on a different video that he wants her to be an at home mom.
