If you have prime, they just throw tons of games at you. I know some people don't like filler games that clutter up their library, but there's actually a surprising amount of good games you can get through prime. I've also been a huge fan of GOG for a long time. I'd echo your advice here: Prime isn't really worth it for the games, but if you have Prime anyway, you might as well take advantage of it. You get a good mix of indie, remasters, and the occasional AAA game that's a few years old.
Another great video. I think Amazon Prime users are the real winner here. Wow! Lego games are just fun and I don't think they get enough credit. Thanks again for the video and enjoy those games everyone!
I cant sign in to prime gaming with my already activated amazon prime account. Shit keeps asking for my phone number while it is clearly there with 2FA. Fucking amazon cant even get what i paid for.
@@ToxicFlares Sorry. I have not tried yet. Been having some PC issues. It could be a carry over from all the Black Friday sales traffic. Try again later. Hopefully everything will work and if not contact customer service.
Lego games have had almost impeccable standards for the last 20 years. I think my favourites (until I boot up the new one from Epic at least) are Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Undercover, I'm gonna have a blas[er, so uncivilised] playing Skywalker Saga. 😀
Damn, i didn't know about Prime games and I've been a member for over a year. Thanks to you i was able to grab a hell of a bunch of good gog games, man. Thank you.
They're a funnel to get you into buying DLC. Most bundles are that way. BTW is not free, you have to pay for prime, it's akin more to Humble Bundle or fanatical.
I mean it makes sense. They give the base game and if you like them you may buy the expansion or whatever. So they try to make money off the free base games via the extra dlc
@@cirro51 Yeah especially when a lot of times the DLC is actually more expensive than the base game mostly because it's never so deeply discounted as the base game. I've seen some games where all the DLC costs at least 2x or 3 times the price of the game and in fact the only way to get the DLC cheaper is to buy a special edition bundled with the base game, which makes having the base game already actually more expensive.
@@cirro51 amazon games are not truly free they are basically rentals if you stop paying for amazon prime you lose access to the games .still a good deal but not free.
@@curseofsasuke the issue i have is about advertising them as free games is they are more like rentals saying they are free is just the wrong word. if you stop paying for amazon you lose access.

Every Chrimbo Epic have upped the ante of their giveaways, I don't know how they keep doing it but my goodness, I appreciate their pro-consumer practices. Merry Christmas Epic, you generous bar stewards.
How is giving free games away pro-consumer when the actual consumer side (buying games) is so bad? Also their free games is the only thing that could be considered "pro-consumer", everything else they do is very anti-consumer, and the only reason they do it is not for the good of the consumer but to attract people to their store (obviously)
@@AJ-po6up You completely misunderstand what the purpose of Epic Store is, it's not to make money but to maintain Unreal Engine as the dominant engine in the gaming sphere and give them influence at the top table to direct the future of the industry. Epic, as a company, make Valve look like a corner shop by comparing scale, game sales from a launcher, financing free games etc is small change to them which they finance via Fortnite.
I think the Lego games are games that are basically for everyone regardless of age as long as you find them fun, I don't judge but personally I don't like them, they're not my cup of tea.
Prime has been hitting it out of the park with their games. Better than epic and humble a lot of the time!
that sci fi shooters bundle on humble is pretty epic to..
Well prime is a subscription while epic is completely free so I understand the difference 😭
Better than both bc free trial and gog keys
Prime is definitely to a point that it is completely worth buying a month just to claim all the games I'm gonna buy a month

Twitch prime is becoming the new Humble bundle replacement. The games are very interesting for people that don't already have the games.

Yep, it's a great way to get some awesome titles if you have Prime.
Tons of Warhammer 40k games to promote the upcoming Secret Level show.
Great game lists, thanks for all the hard work sorting through these!
The only annoying thing about amazon free games... they dont give out the gold/deluxe editions with dlcs... only the base games
First world problems lol!
