You know for so long it's always been Battlefield vs COD, and with today not only do they hate each other but the communities themselves don't like the latest games being released. Then you have Delta Force just popping in being like "hey, you don't have spend $70 you can just play for free." Wow. I hope this game ends up thriving and becomes that top free trending shooter that everyone hops on if they feel like going to war.
I was a COD activist and BF hater for so long, as years have went by and the quality of both franchises have dropped so much - I've actually found myself playing older BF games more than COD itself now. I've been playing a bunch of BF4 and BFV that I genuinely feel embarrassed with how I used to act, but you know what they say - you live and you learn.

For a completely free game I don't see any glaring issues to complain about. I hope they add a lot of gadgets, operators and conquest maps. Just concerned since they're basically splitting their attention between so many modes.
The dev have years of experience from making mobile games of existing pc games like pubg, cod, tarkov and etc, Seems like they're taking what they have learned from years of maintaining those game alive and put it into a single game and it's on pc now too, bravo

I still remember the BFV fiasco with the claw hand woman and the devs saying "we're on the right side of history, screw the fans" because they put cyborg women on the frontlines in a WW2 game. The writing has been on the wall for years. I was hyped for 2042, played the free hours at launch and never touched it again. They're so out of touch with their fans that it's almost hard to believe.

It's hilarious to me that people love this but hate MW2022 considering it has a nearly identical weapon controller, no slide canceling, fast-ish TTK, and "camping" (doing anything other than feverishly sprinting and sliding to a negative K/D). This game is literally just Ground War and DMZ from MW2022 but with less movement and some mild destruction added.
Why compare this to COD where in they are 2 different games? Also the most obvious competitor is BF2042 and everything is better than that dogshit game. Make it make sense dude. You're a trash compactor guy. Opinion invalidated.
