I re-installed this game yesterday and can't stop playing. So much better than the last 2. It's like i'm actually in a war. But with a beer and snacks.

BF1 just got so much right. Amazing maps (and design), really fun gameplay, epic cinematic moments, that "sandbox" feel, grittiness, rawness, the atomsphere, the music, the sound design, on and on. I loved BF3 & BF4, but when this game came along, it shot to the top for me. The amount of 'Only in Battlefield Moments' I have had in this game, is just unreal. True gem in the series. If only Dice could get back to this type of passion for their franchise.

for me BF1 would prolly be top spot for BF games for me if it didn't have the customization and vehicle system it does. BF4 will always be my #1 because of that, BF1 is a solid #2 and BC2 a Solid #3. but really they are so close to the best FPS games that I could play any of them and not be wanting too much
Bf1 and bf4 are the best games ever made for those who got into battlefield later in life

@@jamesvoneschen66032042 has a portal mode where you play bc2 Maps and weapons. I must say it felt great. It was like playing a remastered bad company 2. The M95 still feels great when i snipe somebody across the map
Agreed. I skipped BF1 for TitanFall 2 at launch, but got into on PS5. I wish I played sooner. Only games in the series better IMO than BF4 and BF1 are BF2 and BF2142.

Same! Started re-watching all of Jack’s BF1 videos a week ago, not long after I installed the game again and I’m having a blast!
I see lots of new players (low lvl) and there’s lots of servers running at full capacity all through the day on ps4-5. I even got to play operations on the DLC maps

its a crime how this beatifull game only cost 2 bucks, while, they are other overpriced games or DLCs in the market that, they offer almost no content or come out incomplete at release
It is also a great thing though, in the sense that new people will still start to play it in 2024, since it is so affordable.

A chaotic cold-war era battlefield with Heli's, jets dropping napalm and boots on ground fighting in urban areas, tropical waters and jungles again would rule.

As someone who has spent a GROSS amount of time using the cavalry in this game….on the right map against an unorganized team you’re essentially riding an immortal carrot-powered dirt bike that can self-heal and rearm while being a MENACE to armored units and vehicles
It still holds up as one of the best in the battlefield series

My grandmother was a codebreaker at Bletchley, except she never ever spoke about it. She was just phenomenal at crossword puzzles, and happened to work for the army in that exact place at that exact time.
Started playing BF1 for the first time since the beginning of this year and im in love with it and can get lost in it for hours
One time, I was playing on Cape Helles and the Cape Helles song started playing... Literally I didn't hear anything besides that music. It was breathtaking.
I was playing on Cape Helles and i was in a bomber. The destroyer didnt have an AA gunner so we were able to do runs over it like in that World at War mission Black Cats. The game is so beautiful to play

I got tired of COD and BF 2042 and hopped back on this recently. It still holds up after all these years.
You can tell the amount of care they've put into the game. Recently learned Indy Neidell was part of the consultants for the codex entries. Then there's that clip with them recording the sounds of the soldiers. Awesome game
BF3 and BC2 will always be my favourite BF games. But man did I sleep on BF1. I remember playing the hell out of it after release and into the first dlc. Then I stopped and didn’t experience the rest of the content.
All I remember is having fond memories of flying the bomber over small villages and utterly wrecking them with air strikes.
I’ve played old school RuneScape for 15 years and PUBG for about 6 and I always come back to bf1 or bfv, absolutely amazing games! Nice video!

tarted my battlefield career with BF 1. Fell in love with Battlefield, even till today, thanks to BF 1. Its still awesome to play. Great graphics, great music\sounnd and fun play. I have to play it again soon. Thnx for keeping BF 1 hot and fun!

I jumped back into this game and boy that has been fun. I haven’t even thought of going back to cod or 2042. Its been really awesome.
The greatest thing about bf1 is how cool the narrative is. You always want your side to win. Operations are awesome!
As a British playing a British soldier is amazing experience. Also playing Ottoman soldier as a being Turkish is good feeling for me.
Seriously have such good memories of this game. Infantry was so good, vehicles made you feel like a god, sniping soooo satisfying, everything. They def need to recapture this feel

Growing up my grandparents house was backed onto Bletchley Park. They used to tell me all sorts of stories about that place. For anyone that hasn’t watched the film The Imitation Game I highly recommend you do so. Alan Turing is essentially the reason we are all alive today.

I’ve kept it all those time. I got a Xbox one bf1 special edition and it is still one of my favorite fps shooters ever. Just about every single second is cinematic it’s so fun.
I played this when I was 16-17, now I'm 24. The memories of it still remain with me. The game was perfect.
