@@MrPhlorky Ramsay's American shows look fake and dramatized and music every couple of seconds which piss people off especially the US version of kitchen nightmares I prefer the UK versions of his shows
Actually the "Amateur" Chef was logical, well spoken, and simply stated his terms of this relationship. "If I'm doing the wrong thing then you only have to tell me once and I'll do differently and if I fuck up again I'm confident enough to ask for instruction again to make sure I'm not missing something." I think Ramsay clearly got that from this guy. When Ramsay tried to press him off and he stood his ground Ramsay backed off and held out the olive branch first and offered to do it with him. This is the sign of a good leader and the "amateur" chefs composure was that of someone who is a mentally solid individual under stress. Some of these comments are what bothers me. So many individuals are blood thirsty to see their version of dictator authority in action that they lose all sense of reality. A leader who pays attention and plays to the strengths and weaknesses of their team to work on that team rather than a dictator who treats everyone as disposable will always be the victor. Which do you want to work for? There are far too many of the latter and that is why they are not as successful as Gordon Ramsay.
@@toshathebeautiful8389 I don't know what non-skilled jobs you work, but my employment was negotiated between me and my employer. I was screened by many, hired for my skills and experience, and proved them along with the ability to work in a team environment. YES. If my "NEW" supervisor goes overboard I have a personal responsibility to put a stake in the ground around my agreed on terms and conditions and go overboard in response to that. If there is something new to be tasked, but well within my capability of learning then abuse is something to not be tolerated. In fact it is a sign of poor management skills and potentially deeper issues within the company if its even allowed to get to that point. This here is a drama reality TV show and Ramsey is playing the antagonistic boss in character. Many people know that. However, at the same time, this was one example that demonstrates that Gordon is also business savvy and will not let talent walk off. Button pushers, burger flippers, and laborers don't have that luxury nor do a lot of them seem to be aware any of these things exist for real in a workplace.
Honestly, I think we can all appreciate what a sincere and great guy Gordon is. He's not a dick, he's passionate. He's not angry because he's some sort of diva that isn't getting the respect he's deserved, he's angry because he knows that the guys here are talented, but they're not putting the effort in that he knows they can put in. Its a sincere concern for people to be the best they can be.
"It's the customers. You've got every right to be upset because they're a pile of shit." Gordon Ramsay resonates with me on the ground level as a service worker.
This is why I love chef Ramsay. Yes he gets angry and flips, as all head chefs do (trust me, I know). But he's always the bigger man and never let's it escalate too far. Shows his soft side all the time and makes peace with who he argues with ( they deserve it) and helps them out. Many head chefs need to learn that , that is true leadership.

Gordon is a legend. He's always been a mind blowing chef, however the maturity and interpersonal skills he's developed since his early days in the kitchen have earned him a high level of respect from me personally. I used to use the name "Gordon Ramsay" as an example of why being a chef is so fucking horrible, and possibly the worst career anyone could ever choose! However, these days I love watching him work with and bring the best out of common everyday chefs such as myself. Many of us will never get anywhere close to Gordon's level of skill, and I admire him for not only realising that, but knowing how to help us reach our own individual potential in the kitchen regardless of where that may lie on the spectrum of cooking skill. In my eyes, Gordon has grown from being a phenomenal chef into a phenomenal human being.
Truth! I used to really dislike him effing and blinding and really humiliating people. Now, he's matured emotionally and spiritually and I like him as much as I like Jamie Oliver 😊

Honestly Gordon is a great teacher, he knows exactly how to act in every situation when working with different people and thats super rare to find. Massive respect to him.
Why is this the most heartwarming moment in English television
Being tough isn't talking back to the boss after he chew your ass out for working below his standard. Being tough is actually shutting up, take the licking, and come back and improve your performance.
very true
What if the boss was wrong?
@@Crunch_Buttsteak If the boss is repeatedly wrong then his restaurant will fail and a new one will pop up to replace it.
tell that to all the retards that talk back as soon as they hear something they dont like. If only the world had more people with your views....
As a amateur chef, who's got way more respect to more experienced chefs. I can agree to that.

Gordon: Pretend thats my head in there.
*Starts speeding up*
Loll
Loool
He even said you sped up now
So great. He tells him “take me out of the equation”, it isn’t personal it’s professional. “let’s do it together.” that’s a great leader.
LMFAO😁😁😁
This is so much better without all the useless FOX sound effects.
ZombyWoof that’s yanks for you
That’s a leader
A lot of people don't like his style of dealing with people. This is how the real world works. Either learn the right way, or get the F out of his kitchen. It really is a simple concept.
Lmao no it's not
Well, yes, but a leader of the scumbag-bully variety.
Agreed. Leaders get things done!!! (y)

How was he a bully?

Awesome motivation.

As someone who has been working in the food service industry for 20 years, I’d like to thank you guys for showcasing just how much work goes on behind the scenes. Oftentimes, people don’t realize that their food doesn’t just magically appear.
Damn, Chef Ramsay has a heart of gold!
Who highlighted my comment?
Whatever not going into the paparazzi...even if Chef Ramsay kills me while teaching... I'd die to study under him for free
Gaurav Mitra hell yes, I would too. The experience alone is worth it.

Gordon has honestly the best intent and the most patience with the chefs that he teaches. 100% respect to anyone who teaches like that with the passion Gordon is showing.
Gordon always says "Thankyou" even when he's pissed.
Gentleman 👏👌
Gentleman . . . my arse!
He seems sober most of the time 🤷🏻♂️

Jumping in the Thames is only really bad option as the water is filthy

"SIMPLE."

Wonder what's difficult for him
David Hunter Sad thing is while he’s explaining it he really does make it look simple
If there is no dramatic music after 1 sentence, you know you are watching an English Gordon Ramsay show...
A proper one at that, yea?
@@dabulls1g no. American ramsay is the best ramsay
"If I'm doing the wrong thing then you only have to tell me once and I'll do differently and if I fuck up again I'm confident enough to ask for instruction again to make sure I'm not missing something."
I think Ramsay clearly got that from this guy.
Well said👍
Exactly.

oh,soooo- you speak to your supervisor like that? nah, he dead a*s wrong.
Gordon is so much more than what we all see him as. He's one of the best. Much respect to him
6:08: *opens oven to see soufflés exploded after seeing his mate get bollocked by gordon*

That was wholesome AF. This is why I love Gordon so much. He is a wonderful leader and doesn't let his ego get in the way.
He did not have to get eye level with him 😂
Did you see how much taller Gordon is? He had to do it 😂
😂😂😂
As a short dude, I would much rather someone get on my level than look down their fucking nose at me.
Yes he did. Twat.
Gordon is my favorite celebrity. He’s truly an amazing person. He’s brutally honest.
SavageArfad ?
@SavageArfad Thank you! Finally, someone who knows the real Ramsay amongst all these kiss ass fanboys.
Gordon: pretend that’s my head in there
The guy beating the mixture: “beating intensifies”
Hearing somebody detail their craft with such competence gets me really excited.
You can tell he loves his craft.
As much as he’s a hardass you can see it comes from a good place. Tells guy to go do it himself, guy says he can’t, Ramsey says I’ll help you then.
Those blokes look like a bunch of peasant bowmen before a battle with Gordon as Henry V.

The same style of Englishman. Large, burly, physically powerful, looking for orders.
Well I never looked at it like that, and I don't think I will ever see it differently.
I love how Gordon flips out yells cusses and then tells other people to calm down
"Let's do it together then."
There you can see, that Gordon is not only a great chef but also a very very nice one. :)
I just love the way he bends down when he’s arguing with them as if they are children.
In de end, they all laugh and smiling after battling a war together.
Like real men should...
Abdelmelik Farooq Alwahid agreed
I know someone already mentioned it, but the lack of music really makes this far more enjoyable to watch.
one person you never argue with when it comes to food, especially if you're an amateur chef, is gordon ramsay...
"It's the customers. You've got every right to be upset because they're a pile of shit."
Gordon Ramsay resonates with me on the ground level as a service worker.
He may be tough on the outside but very nice on the inside👍
This is why I love chef Ramsay. Yes he gets angry and flips, as all head chefs do (trust me, I know). But he's always the bigger man and never let's it escalate too far. Shows his soft side all the time and makes peace with who he argues with ( they deserve it) and helps them out.
Many head chefs need to learn that , that is true leadership.
4:42 It felt like Hell's kitchen for a moment
The reason I push you is because I want your best! A lesson that my mother taught me many years ago and believe me it works.
@MoneyPit Jku well then you tell me what it really means I would love to hear your opinion please..
@MoneyPit Jku oh yea, let the weak lead the pace, great idea
@MoneyPit Jku 1 Week and still no reply. Just means you're talking out of your ass. Keep your mouth shut on things you know nothing about got it? Your parents were probably soft as hell, so you wouldn't know what tough love is. So keep quiet and go back to mommy and daddy, you pathetic fucking kid.

Pretend that’s my head in there 😂. Ramsey is really a good man. I’d love to cook with him.
“could he deliver 10 beds to customers without damaging the wallpaper?”
well I hate to break it to you, but Im pretty sure he could yeah
5:56 Close your eyes and tell me what you think.

Gordon: it's raw
Knifes: yes chef
And then craps it in
Respect to Gordon but absolute respect to the guy for having the balls to just say I’m not Upto it and didn’t take a second to say yes to the help that’s somebody who wants to learn
Holy shit, I liked Gordon before, but after seeing this clip, he's nothing but a semi-god walking among us mere mortals.
Relax man
piss off Bernard
Yea do one Bernie lad
AMONG US
He's not hating Gordon, he is saying that Gordon, a master of cooking and teaching, walks amongst us people who are very medium.
Gordon is awesome bro, he cares so much about his customers and is genuinely a great guy. He takes no bs, and settles for nothing but the best. Awesome
Anyone want to see Gordon deliver 10 beds from a van?
I`d pay money to see that
Gordon would deliver 20 beds in half the time, without even having a van
