Three reported killed as DR Congo military averts ‘attempted coup’

- Three people have been reported killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DR Congo) capital following a shootout between armed men in military uniform and guards of a top politician, an incident the army described as an attempted coup.
Two police officers and one of the attackers were among those killed in the shootout that started early on Sunday.
The armed men attacked the Kinshasa residence of Vital Kamerhe, a federal legislator and a candidate for speaker of the National Assembly of DR Congo, but were stopped by his guards, Kamerhe’s spokesman Michel Moto Muhima said on social media.
A DR Congo military spokesman said in a televised address that the perpetrators of the failed takeover had been arrested.

The Vienna Convention, passed in 1961 European calendar, one year after the African year of decolonization, was a huge disaster for Africa. Without it, most coups in Africa wouldn't have been possible.

This situation is not clear; there must be a mind game on Fatshi's part! How did a group of less than 100 people, who are not career soldiers, manage to enter a country (the DRC) with weapons and military uniforms and displaying the old flag of Zaire? How could they freely invade the city of Kinshasa without any resistance from the government security services? How were they able to go to government buildings supposed to be under total protection and sow panic there, like at the People's Palace? How were they able to go to the homes of politicians like Kamerhe without the intervention of the police? Don't senior Congolese politicians have bodyguards? How were they able to go to the office of the President of the Republic, enter it and shout too loudly inside without any military intervention? Isn't it guarded by the Republican Guard?
How did this so-called Christian Malanga arrive with his child at an event which he knew very well could cause damage, both material and human? When did Malanga choose these people, when did he train them? It's a complete mystery! It's a comedy, the problem is that people lost their lives for nothing!

No country is too large to Govern. Competent leadership is the only solution.
There is no such thing as West, East or South DRC even if the country was to be divided, it would probably divided along the interest of the neighboring countries and wont be called those names for sure.
