There's a video on here you don't need to take the AC compressor off
You don’t have to it’s just easier and takes less then 15mins to do the job

What tool is that are you using taking the alternator off
Cordless electric ratchet from snap on
Easy hack remove power steering pump to side bam then straight up the alternator
