Thank you so much for this video. Very descriptive and detailed to get every step from start to end. I just had my alternator burn up after I was stuck in the snow, then got myself out of it after shoveling snow from the tires. Then later last night, my car was running low on power while driving and then couldn’t go through the bit of snow I was driving in. Then turned it off, which was when it wouldn’t turn over and start but lights and battery was good. Now I’m about to go start this process.
Fixed the alternator and everything put back right. But my car battery charger indicates 14.4v when I get it to run but it sounds a little odd. Then my warning light pops up
Add me to those thankful for the video! It was spot on! Thanks for the help! Saved me time and money. If we wouldve had to put it in a shop my son wouldve possibly had to miss work, or me and ol' mom wouldve had to play taxi for several days.
