My mother (RIP) was from South Carolina and she made liver and onions often when I was a kid. We do make it slightly different; we don't add scotch bonnet peppers or fresh ginger. I've had the Jamaican style liver and kidneys for breakfast with boil banana and steamed dumpling and yam and it is delicious. Love Deddy's version; it almost looks like steak! Always give thanks to Almighty God for every day amen!!

Oh my, this is a totally new way to cook liver for me, I do it pan fried, onions, mushrooms, green peppers.. no gravy. 3 mins per side and done. But THIS looks amazing! Now I need to try this. I love liver! I fry up some bacon, flour up my liver (which helps make lots of gravy) to cook in the bacon grease. I use lots of onion. I put the bacon on top of the liver with lots of onion, eat it with rice and fresh spinach. But, I loved the way Deddy prepared it. I wish I could taste his!! GOD Bless.

Just done this recipe turned out just right. Only thing I did different was add a drop of browning to give it added colour. Nice one Deddy💯❤️

I never put water in my liver, my grandmother says it tightens the fiber in the liver. I season it the same way
