Is it too difficult to understand ? Do you really need a content to believe in what he says? Just listen to it by your heart, you will get it, I promise 👌.

I would add that if you're feeling anger, frustrated, sad or any other emotion, it's important to tune into that emotion to hear what it's trying to tell you. We feel what we feel for a reason, rather than ignore it and focus only on the positive, I have grown immensely by sitting with whatever emotions come up and listening to why it has come up so that I can respond better or do better next time, otherwise we might keep repeating patterns that continue to trigger anger, frustration, sadness, without understanding why we're getting triggered.

It's a very simple concept to understand and a very important one that I tend to forget and neglect

@@Sweet_potato402 You're most welcome :) We all tend to forget and neglect b/c most of us weren't raised to acknowledge our emotions as valid. It's a very gradual process but we will get there as long as we keep prioritizing awareness and presence through coming back to ourselves and honoring all that we're going through :)

@@Micklad2445 Thank you :) I don't know if what I said is related to stoicism, it's just a major realization I've had on my inner evolution journey that feeling fully, listening to, and learning from our emotions is essential to our wellbeing and in cultivating self-awareness

Listen to Michael Sanger, excellent teacher, who wrote the untethered soul, he does say that the spiritual life is an every day occurrences, emotions that rise, and how to breathe right through them, so that they don’t get stored in your body, triggers will appear, emotions are there because they’re there, but it’s something in addition to what you were saying about taking a look at what that emotions trying to tell you, but you can pass your stored traumas out of your body

I developed a rare condition a couple of months ago after years of cronic pain. The stoic mindset has quite literally saved my life.
Practising mindfulness during and after my seizures. Knowing my worth, even though I can’t do the things I want to do. Trying to be grateful for this chapter by realizing that I now have the time to count my blessings and not be so distracted all the time.
I used to think that accepting a situation excluded hope. Now I try to let it flow and let go of the things I have no control over - without being too hard on myself ✨

Such a great explanation of stoicism. I always found when people were described as stoic, it led me to think negatively about the word. It had an archaic connotation. Not anymore. You have painted a completely different image for me regarding someone being stoic. It is so positive! So truthful. Learning to be stoic creates a healthy life for us mind & body, no matter what is going on around us.

I find this channel becoming a favorite quite quickly. Wisdom Nuggets almost feels like an understatement! Thank you for the Wisdom you provide in these messages. It is interesting for me to note that on this path, these ways show up and I had no name but Stoic was one that i thought of, and like others, I had wondered if that was a good thing I was emanating. I am finding it so very interesting to see how all real truths within Wisdom fall into one another. I had just watched your Principle of Mentalism and was able to resonate with that fully, as this one. This is truly a channel for those of us working on ourselves so we understand more fully what we are working at accomplishing...and what it is. My Heart is Full of Gratitude...Namaste!

You cannot detach from young children, paying no taxes, and thinking about self at all times here on Earth. There's really no benefit. We are on the material plane so enjoy it. That's it. You don't have to feel guilty for desiring to build and attain things here. You deserve a stable foundation too. Damn stoicism.

This is correct. Stoicism is only attributed to the behavioral characteristics. In that regard it's very difficult. A stoic covert narcissist SEEMS strong yet we are now aware they are very weak. So stoic people can't necessarily be assumed to have positive traits. It's highly complex. It's frightening. I'd rather be with people who communicate than silent cold types.

Stoicism, like most things.. should be practiced in moderation. It's 95% humbleness and silence.
Stoicism can be easily confused with perceiving morality through filters, and placing judgment on others. You don't want to end up as a judge of everything.
