Shadow-dropped straight into my heart. As I say in the credits, basically all the music in the video is from the game, because it'd be a crime to take the spotlight away from this wonder.
I’m very happy with the reception the game is getting because I thought many would overlook it because of its concept and art style alone. I do love realistic games but games like Hi Fi Rush are a breath of fresh air especially with its quality.
Been playing off and on the past few days and it’s been an amazing experience from everything I’ve played. Glad games like this are getting so much praise. Maybe it’ll change the industry a bit if we keep it up…
I personally consider Stage 10, with the non-streamer mode Invaders Must Die song, to be the best execution of dynamic and gameplay/story/tone fused music since Metal Gear's Rules of Nature. It just might be my favorite hyper action game of all time, at least alongside the greats, Bayo, DMC, God Hand and Rising.
To answer your question, yes, they still make deticated music players. Except these days they're marketed towards audiophiles, can stream, play high res FLAC files and typically cost in excess of $500.
I like how it references to other nerdy culture like R&D's JoJo references and really enjoyed the game on the whole but I found some of the bosses hard to understand their attack patterns and when to attack.
Good to hear you're feeling better! So this vid does a great job showing the game's appeal without simply over-hyping it; well done on that. But I legit had to take a minute to recover when you said this was directed by the same guy who directed Evil Within 2. Holy good goddamn, that mental whiplash.
Chai reminds me somewhat of Denji if it comes to the life goals as a "Hero"- like, yeah, he fights the BBEGs but his fkin life goal is simple as rebar. This is quite endering, as ya know- it's just a story of normal lad who just gets into the big fight because it's a good thing, but his personal goals are beyond just being a hero
I've been playing for a while now, and I think I'm the opposite of you haha. I'm pretty good at rhythm games and music as a whole but terrible at action, so I'm usually an A ranker. Just timing and clear time are Ss, score is a B. I'll keep playing to see if I can get better, just so my scores can spell ASS instead of BSS lmao. However, the fact that I'm able to play this game at normal difficulty and thoroughly enjoy it (while being disabled and terribly uncoordinated) just shows how wellmade and accessible and genuinely fun it is.
Hey, to answer your question, yeah, MP3 players are still made, I use one regularly since it runs on its own storage and battery, and it’s easier to carry while jogging.
Man this was the game that I was dedicated to 100%, I finished the wall of fame which is just an achievements plastered on a wall in the first month of it's release, but im not gonna get the special S rank on every level on every difficulty since it's just for bragging rights
man, this game was so good. interestingly, I'd usually get S rank on timing but like B or C on score. music is my hobby, so that probably played a role. I was able to achieve the dream of the score saying ASS, and I gotta tell you, it felt as good as you think it would
Hey, I really like your channel. I aspire to be a youtube creator in the future when I have a bit more money and time to invest in the video-creation process. Your The Last of Us multiplayer video was just incredible. So lengthy and detailed, must have taken ages to record and edit. Hours of effort for not much attention. Your channel, in my opinion, is severely underrated. You know, the kind of videos that feel like they were born out of a passion, out of a wild idea to give people something new. Videos that feel like content. Original content for the sake of it. That alone is worth celebrating.
Monkey brown is right I literally saw one video the day it came out and immediately bought cause sync music with fighting and environment and also fun tickles my brain
I made a prediction earlier this year where I stated that Hi-Fi Rush would be the best Bethesda published game of 2023. Quite an insane prediction really, considering, but man it's actually coming true, and I'm sooo happy about that! This would have been my game of the year if not for Tears of the Kingdom, 100%
I feel like I'm the only person that didn't like this game. I gave it a fair try but It just didn't hit me right and I can't rightly explain it. While not very similar, it made me want to play No Straight Roads instead [it's kind of like a boss rush version of this game]. I liked the music and gameplay a lot better in that overall, but yeah they can't really directly be compared because they have some fairly different styles of gameplay.
Great video, but I’m really angry right now. I’ve been subscribed for over a year now and TH-cam, for some reason, doesn’t show me your videos. What the hell, TH-cam??
Shadow-dropped straight into my heart.

ayy
Another hit. Dang, you keep finding awesome games.
I 😮😮😢
I played this game in one day, the amount of fights I had to go through and absolute trauma it put me through makes this the best game of 2023
Why trauma?
@@luchirimoya i had to fight so many robots I don’t even want to play atomic heart anymore
The Evil Within devs went so deep into horror they realised only reminding us what we've lost in regards to games would inspire true dread.
Fun fact depending on the stage music the guitar will have different sounds when striking enemies.
I’m so glad more people are promoting this game. We need to tell AAA dev studios that this is the kind of stuff we want. Passion project.
It’s not the dev or the fault of the studio, it’s their publisher and owners that limit creativity for quick cash grabs
It has no chance of winning, but if this game doesn't at least get nominated for Game of the Year, I will riot.
I’m very happy with the reception the game is getting because I thought many would overlook it because of its concept and art style alone. I do love realistic games but games like Hi Fi Rush are a breath of fresh air especially with its quality.
Don't know why youtube's algorithm kills anything related to HiFi Rush but it's an amazing game and thak you for making this video
The algorithm probably sees the bright, colorful visuals and secretly flags the video for a younger audience, which will make It recommended less.
Final boss took me 40 tries on very hard.
Sensory overload is an understatement there lol.
9/10 game will always recommend
Been playing off and on the past few days and it’s been an amazing experience from everything I’ve played. Glad games like this are getting so much praise. Maybe it’ll change the industry a bit if we keep it up…
RIP Tango Gameworks :(
Don't sleep on the streamer mode tracks. They are FIRE
This game is incredible. The art style and cutscenes are so well done.
I sure do want to try this game out after May 2024!
Feels like this game was somewhat inspired by the excellent anime FLCL. RIP Tango Gameworks and many dev jobs.

0:36 Have I done this? Sir, that is the sole purpose for my channel's existence.

This game became not only my game of the year, but one of my favorite games of all time
Chai is the best part about this game honestly, he's such a dumbass but he's so good and I love him
"if you've played you know the one I'm on about"
Do I though? Because about 5+ scenes fit that criteria shfhd
"The game is out and it looks like THIS"
Me: OMG TAKE ALL MY EMONE!!1
"It's rhythm based"
Me: You're tearing me apart.jpeg
Super glad everyone's watching your videos now. Thanks for sharing these videos with us
Hi-Fi Rush is Kid Icarus Uprising with Jet Set Radio graphics and Invaders Must Die by The Prodigy. Buy it now before it gets suddenly delisted.
Yeah they still make mp3 player Sony still making the walkman to this day techmoan can help
Better win no less than a half dozen awards this GOTY Awards

11:30 I have played and I don't know what scene you're referring to
I would 100% buy this game, but the only thing holding me back is that I have a potato laptop. Not even a pc
They do make more MP3 Players Bro. Im buying greeks (TurboX) every time one of my mp3 players button decides to get stuck for eternity.
This game really reminds me of NSR.
Great stuff as always 💜

Here’s my review:
I HATE rhythm games
This game was a fucking blast
Review over 10/10
That man we had a horror game but you know what more scary but Bethesda I hear their name in my head save constantly.
I’m trying to figure out what reference you’re talking about since it’s clearly not the Twin Peaks one. Wait… is it the one before the Mimosa battle?
Chapter/Track 10 opening cutscene.
@@PowerPakGames Ah, right. THAT one.
They do still make them!
Reminds me of the game Crypt of the NecroDancer, that too is a game I wouldn't be able to get into.
They do make mp3 players. Usually the hi quality ones are great. But yeah, Google music is good enough for most people.
Yes they do separate mp3s to this day. I think they are cheap too.
Monkey brown is right I literally saw one video the day it came out and immediately bought cause sync music with fighting and environment and also fun tickles my brain
This is a screensaver killed me

Not sure about regular MP3 players, but you can get Hi-Fi android based audio players for up to several thousand £

Great video, dude!
the thing is theres so many weird references i DONT know the one you're talking about im not sure

i love this game to absolute death
Could you please do video about dead space remake?
Looks nice
Amazing
Is it bad that the shield enemies kinda ruined the fun for me?
I really wanted to like this game, but I really don't like the design of the MC I'm sure it's a great game tho
necrodancer 3d
Who returned here in 2024, after Microsoft's f.up?
I'm gonna pirate this game.
How do we get two really cringe marketing videos so close together between this and forspoken with the "thats me".
Game seems cool tho
The suits failed their job (they’re supposed to kill the momentum of good games with awful marketing)
I will say the irreverent trailer actually fits the game's fun goofy Saturday Morning Cartoon vibe.
Tried to get into this game so bad but I think it’s complete trash
6:48
Yes it did take a lot of tries
80/90 hours later i got every S rank on every level and on every difficulty🥲
