You have a point, but no need to strawman counter arguments. Overwatch doesent need to be free to play, but it cant exist under the old box model. 60 dollar one time purchase, no extra purchases available in game. If you want a multiplayer game that frequently receives new content, it needs to be monetized more than once. The question is how. Most gamers have decided that battle passes are better than lootboxes. Multiple countries banned lootboxes because of the outrage. So that's why we're here now. It's not just because big mega corp bad and people defending battle pass shill
If you let something so insignificant to actual gameplay ruin the game for you, then i can't really see how you were a fan to begin with. if microtransactions make you leave then that seems like you only care about cosmetics, in which case Overwatch was not for you anyways.
I enjoy how much focus you put on the shop and the battle pass. The fact that I paid for OW1, can't play it anymore, but also have to pay horrendous amounts for the skins I could've gotten for free, is straight up evil. Blizzard fully intended to make OW2 just good enough for people not to complain about their singular goal of changing the monetization method and raising prices. Too bad they failed in that too.

True. I wish I could endorse the enemy. Sometime the enemies are just so good, or make such a huge difference in a key moment that I want to endorse them. Now I just have to praise them in the match chat.
What I find weird about the “on fire”system is that the new heroes have voice lines for it as well. Makes me think it was a last minute decision to cut it out and maybe they’ll add in it later with all the other features removed…
As they said when Jeff was still part of Blizzard, they made multiple prototypes (bad sign for a software programmer like myself... Did no one made an sdlc plan for this game? It's the freaking basics on both development and business side of things?) So most likely the on-fire was either ripped out from OW1 code without the visuals or they just used a part of one of those prototypes. (Heck I still feel this game is in Late alpha)

In defense of people playing more kiriko and moira, I've heard the argument that since there are fewer tanks and everything hyperoffensive now, that means that most healers need to both be in Line of Sight to heal and also stay out of Line of Sight to avoid the snipers and Sojourn railguns that will end them very quickly. Moira and Kiriko have teleports which allow them both to reach their teammates safely and also to try and bail when things inevitably go south.
@@mightyhendo9828 you said you love to play Tank and Support but in the same stroke you say you don't on OW2 because everything is more offensive now if I understood that right... if you'd be good at OW you wouldn't have these kind of complains, in fact the way your are complaining you sound like a lazy support who gets carried 90% of the time and rein shield spammers, which of course would give you a hard time playing OW2 since you are a bot essentially, I mean the fact you said that the stuns are gone already shows that you have no clue what you are talking about, reins shatter, junkrats trap, meis Ult, anas sleep dart, roadhogs hook, they all count ... so either you never even bothered looking at the kits of the heroes and merely jumped onto the hate bandwagon or you have srsly no reason to be complaining whatsoever since you probably never even touched the game. if you get actually get behind it and aren't some bronze 5 scrub then the 5v5 makes sense and feels way more rewarding as a support because you actively helped with kills/assists and objectives instead of spamming heals like a bot, tbh if you can't 1v1 any close range dps (except sombra because she is a cheap bitch with her hacks) with a bap or lucio, then you don't belong anywhere near silver anyways. if there is ANYTHING to complain about it's the matchmaking and the ranking system in comp, the reason why dps aint peeling is because you get paired with a bunch of bots or quitters in the first place whilst the refill is either slow or never happens like in comp :) .... also yes of course new heroes are OP, how the fuck are you marketing a new character that is mediocre?
My thing with Moira is that I don’t really care that she can teleport, I agree with that, and I also have no problem with Kiriko You’ll find I like each and every support because playing Support, IS NOT EASY But my thing I hate about Moira is that not only does her attack heal her as she deals damage, but it practically locks on to its target, unless you can duck behind a wall between shots (which she can easily teleport behind as well) you’re gonna have a rough time dealing with her I’ve been using Hanzo lately because I’ve been wanting to hone my skills, if I can hit someone with a tiny hit box like Moira’s or Kiriko, with an arrow that takes time to travel a distance and not a bullet that just zips straight to its target, I shouldn’t struggle too much against her when I play heroes like Bastion, Cassidy or Soldier
Not only that, moira is heavily picked because she is the only support whose ULT directly does damage. In a game that is as aggressive as ow2 why wouldnt support mains go moira? But we are hearing cries to nerf her into the ground when the true change she needs is a more narrow lock on that isnt like old Sym.
I actually really liked the loot boxes you would earn through leveling for somebody who only casually played every once in a while...didn´t spend any extra money but got some really nice skins...in comparison I would probably need to waste like $500 to buy the same skins now lol
Lootboxes can in border scenarios cause addiction.. but the truth no one said was, that people of those border scenarios are much more likely to throw themselves of the 10th floor, or under the train, than to get addicted. Battlepass however intentionally takes all the fun away from progression, with the idea of forcing a player ultimately buying it... But the truth is, there is nothing I would grind from the pass, let alone waste money on.
FREE to open lootboxes that potentially contained EVERY skin in the game for just playing was one of my favorite things in overwatch 1 and one of the main reasons I kept playing and checking out events... now there's nothing to work for that isn't a garbage filler battlepass with skins worse than what I already had for free on ow1. I stopped playing like a week after release because of the removal of lootboxes.
As a tf2 player watching a brother from a different mother died such a depressing and bitter death. its like 2 people having a showdown just for the other one died unhonorable death like a random guy from the side line shoot 1 of them. As if a rival died by falling in a random manhole. *It's just very bitter*
Something I really miss is the portrait system. I was just about at silver when ow1 ended and I was looking forward to getting it to the next level. Don’t understand why it’s gone? Even though you didn’t get anything from it, it at least gave you a sense of progression. I also hate the new comp system and not being able to see the points I get after a match.
This. What bothers me the most is that I really don't see ANY reason to put that system to rest. Like why? Keep the system and also give people rewards for leveling up. For old players who are about to or have already reached the max level raise the level cap and introduce new interesting looking borders to optain. Ain't that sort of expension of progression something a sequel should thrive to introduce? So sad about this tbh
As a OW1 support main, I wholeheartedly agree that since OW2, the more I play the less fun I have and the less I find myself playing whatsoever. I started out playing maybe half a dozen games in a session, and now by the time I finish my second quick or ranked play I feel no desire to continue playing and just straight close the game. I especially love how the Halloween event (one of my favorite parts of overwatch seasonal stuff) has turned into something that I played twice, felt like I got nothing out of it, and never played it again. I would play those for a fun change of pace to get me new cosmetics (at least the loot boxes gave me a little bit of something and could get them for free), and would still at least let me level up my account. I’m pretty close to just deleting OW2 outright. Actually, after writing this, I think I’ve given myself all the reasons I need to stop playing altogether

Sometimes, you just need to lay everything out for someone else, to realize what you already knew. I think the thing that really hammered the nail in the coffin for me was removing the find group function.. here's a team based game but gfy play by yourself
I think the thing is that you could get a group that can tell you what the plan is (who plays who, who does what) before getting into a game, but now you can’t huddle up and set up a plan. Which leads to disjointed teamwork from what I can guess.
I really miss the medals and being on fire especially as a support player main mostly that was you one chance to have some light shed on the background help you do. I've heard that the reason for removing things like the end cards and the medals was a sort of toxic prevention. Like they're trying to stop people from using those things to put themselves above the rest of the team and shit on them as bad players or something. But if that's the case, then this new scoreboard of everyone's stats make this 10 times worse. Think about it, it's easier then ever for a toxic player to single out a teammate who is "underperforming" and get on their case about it. now all they have to do is press tab, look at the numbers, and boom. a one-way ticket to 'Uninstall game you trash 1IQ noob' station.
I think this was specifically to prevent people from using the medal as leverage. Like some here so do more damage than others, but if you’re gold medal damage as Moira and everyone on your team is dying over and over that medal means nothing. The numbers at least could show that the team mate is totally fine. Like if the dps are calling no heals and both supports have big numbers or high deaths or both the whole team can see that. Idk if it’s working that way, but I think that’s what they’re going for.
Literally just had someone get on my ass for having the lowest damage than every one else, despite it still be over 10 thousand. Like wtf, you are absolutely right, people see a lower number than the rest and automatically single it out. This system allows for even more toxicity
I also literally don't care. I don't advocate for a return to CoD MW2 slur lobbies. But if you seriously get upset because some stranger says "bro ur playing like shit look im gold" then you need to just get a grip, anything more and just mute them. People are genuinely just pathetic now

I feel validated in knowing that the game can very quickly feel overwhelming visually. There are particle effects, intrusive UI, and so much going on on screen that I, on occasion, don't even know where I should look during a team fight. I do not have this problem in competitive TF2.
I maintain that Overwatch's art design has always been bad. It's always been far too cluttered with detail for its own good. Team Fortress 2's art design has gotten worse over time as well, I think. But TF2 started out with perfect art design, then transitioned to "okay" over time. TF2 at its worst is still better than Overwatch at its best. Hell, Overwatch actually had one really great design in Tracer. In OW1 she had just the right balance of detail and negative space, that she felt genuinely iconic. Then in OW2 they stripped away so much that made her design work, broke up her negative space with pointless extra detail, and just made her whole design worse for no good reason.

Seeing leaderboards is so funny when philosophy of OW1 (said by Kaplan) was moving away from leaderboards and K/D ratios. Cooperative teamplay was so encouraged in initial years of OW1. Now new people at helm have no vision for the game.
Overwatch sparked a flurry of games to become what they are including Fortnite and Apex. Too bad to see even Overwatch is fading compared to OG Overwatch.
@@MartinHindenes OverWatch was a genre defining game, OverWatch 2 is a trend chasing game. They should just go back to their roots and focus on what made the game great instead of trying to turn it into a generic game.
Yeah that was great and all until you were getting yelled at by some rando on the team that he has ‘4 golds!’ and then get shit on by the team for your hero pick because no one can tell who’s performing well and who isn’t. Unfortunately OW1’s vision for cooperative team play only works with a group of friends and not random players you’ll spend 20 minutes with at most to act as a team. While you’re welcome to dislike the changes acting like OW1 had it all figured out and then OW2 ruined it actively ignores the huge glaring faults OW1 had with its medal system and lack of transparency on your team’s performance. But you know, let’s just keep ignoring the past problems so we can shit on OW2 easier.
@@nostop2769 OW obviously didn’t have everything figured out. But what they did have figured out was removed in OW2. On a side note, if one person had 4 golds along side their team getting beat, they would technically have a point that people aren’t doing their job properly.
@@CuriosityMisledMe And what exactly did they have figured out that they removed? The inability to actually verify yourself your teams performance rather than just ‘I’m doing enough damage, trust me bro’? And that was a hyperbole example, but at the same time there’s no way to verify the guys claim without arguing that ‘no, I actually have gold damage’ and it just turns into a big shitfest.
I like how you view some changes to OW2's gameplay that are almost universally praised as something to be concerned about. Not often you see such critique that doesn't solely focus on monetization.
For those of us who were still playing the game in the last year or so, the changes only serve to anger and alienate people. It's a worse game, the best update they could literally do would be to reverse most of the changes made with overwatch 2.
I’m glad he brought up 5v5, I think it’s a step down which seems to be a rare opinion but they changed how most tanks play and removed one. There are a million ways to reduce double shield and they chose the one that changes how the game as a whole plays.
@@FragMaster93 Which ended up being the better option. There was no way to make 2 tanks work unless you lower not just their shields but their healthpool down until it they were just glorified DPSs. The problem didn't lie necessarily in double shields but in the ridiculous huge healthpools which turned the fights into a messy brawl which was just a race to see who would get ults first since that was the most consistent way to break through the massive healthpools both tanks brought. 5v5 is considered by most to be a welcome change... because it is a welcome change
@@FragMaster93 They took the lazy option. Same thing happened when they forced role queue on everyone. Instead of actually balancing the game, they took the lazy approach that still failed to address the underlying issues.
@@gracecalis5421 personally I disagree, most tanks don’t use their health to mitigate damage and it’s too keep them from being deleted too quickly when their main mitigation (shields ,matrix, over shields etc) wears off or doesn’t catch everything. I was never too bothered by double shield but it seems to be the primary offender that gets brought up with this change. At the moment you either have the blob that Pak describes or dps that just dive bomb the supports which a second tank could support or respond to where one can’t. I think a lot more could have been done to balance things or reworks like Orisa. Much like 2cp, deleting things was the easiest but not necessarily the best option.
The readability thing is so true, I never realized it. I played OW2 for the first time after not playing OW1 for like two years and the first thing I see is someone from the corner of my eye with an assault rifle and gray hair lighting me up, I turn to shoot them and they fucking slide away backwards, I swear I yelled thinking they were hacking. My friends had to literally tell me that was a new character, lol.
The only issue with Loot Boxes was you could buy them, All they needed to do was allow you to buy credits directly as well as get them from lootboxes. Then you would get something each level, maybe play a character you wouldn't normally if you got a cool skin... and if an event came and you couldn't get the skin or wanted it earlier you could spend some cash.

Overwatch is an inspirational story of how Blizzard snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and then snacked defeat from the jaws of victory in Overwatch 2
I recently was convinced to download overwatch 2, I havent logged on since 2019 and found out it was shut down. I thought it was still up! The moment i got ingame and saw a BATTLE PASS I knew something was off. This video has explained everything I needed to know. I miss overwatch 1. You know its bad when people miss your lootboxes.
You're not wrong about it just being Deathmatch. Supports are just Damage characters who could heal, if they wanted to, but time to kill is so quick it's better off to just get kills yourself. Tanks are just Damage characters with high hit points and attacks that deal more damage than actual Damage heroes (guess that's why they're limited to one per team).
Tanks don’t do more damage than dps lol. And healer are extremely important cause without them the tank will die instantly. OW2 gameplay is far better than ow1 gameplay, literally everyone agree on this. Casual need to stop thinking the game should always be for them and not for the people playing competitive.
@ni 92 this is copium - of the 20 people i know who played ow1, 5 of whom were *very* highly rated and into the competitive side of the game, not a single one thinks this iteration is an improvement. Cant speak for everyone but for me this is extremely telling
@@ni9274 overwatch 1 was pretty good until brig overwatch 2 is super boring and might as well be teamfight simulator if you have 1 bad tank and a lackluster dps you are guaranteed to lose whereas is overwatch 1 you could at least switch on the fly to any role. I couldn't find a video that summed up my thoughts so perfectly as you have done here. So many support the 5v5 change but as a healer/tank player I also felt that loss in dynamic when working with another tank and how playing support is a game of "can I keep the sole tank alive".
I'm here again after it was just recently confirmed that the PvE modes - the whole reason they stopped making any content of note in 2019 and this damn "sequel" was made to begin with - is now cancelled. Completely. Supposedly this is because the endeavour of making anything of merit had just simply gotten too hard for the devs, and they probably realized that just making terrible and overpriced skins instead was enough. Something they had started to realize, by their own admition, *eighteen months ago.* Thus, they will replace it with nothing. Nothing that wouldn't have been released anyway. It's official: This "game" was nothing more than an update to the monetization system. Nothing but yanking away an annoying system and replacing it with an utterly odious and borderline criminal one. But hey, atleast it perfectly represents the company behind it.
@@predatorterroru Since at least 18 months ago... basically yes! Oh but they still do a lot with the game, they add like a new $30 skin bundle every other week. Terrific, isn't it?
Honestly your comment on splatoon 1 severs still be around kinda made me realise how much splatoon 3 as a sequel runs circles around overwatch 2 sequel status. Espcially since both are iteration focused shooter sequels designed to take the core gameplay to it's best state yet. Most noabtably comparing the progression system of splat 3 adds tons of new reasons to keep on playing and engaging with the game adding on to what worked about preivious instalments, compared to overwatch 2 which took away elements of progression such as borders. And it also just the little things as well. Such as splat 3 introducing medals in conjunction with a scoreboard to offer both positive reinforcement and game statistics, the Ui changes that make the game so much easier to read the game state, having a training range to screw around in while waiting for games and I could go on and on. And it does all this all while keeping the same style and personality the series is known for. It really does highlight how limp of a sequel overwatch 2 really is. Who knows mabey the Pve stuff will really bring the experience together but I'm not super hopeful.
"Another fun aspect of the blob meta is that I found it's much easier to push people back to their spawns and keep them there." Demomains: allow us to introduce ourselves
When you talk about Objective time, one thing you notice the higher you go up the ranks is that the game isn’t even about the objective itself, it’s about winning the team fight. Yes the game sells itself as a objective based game but you should always be looking to set up your positions and gain adavantages to win the team fight and the objective will follow suit. It’s simply a perspective lacking competitive knowledge above gold rank
yeah its about killing the other team in order to get the objective. Basically an objective based shooter, you shoot, you kill, you get the objective, you win, basically
10:57 I actually want this to be a thing. I understand that if you play on one time everyday that you will get the same time but it sets the tone of when you play. If I’m having a gaming night I feel like it would be super cool if all maps were night time. It does actually add a lot of variety in the maps, or maybe just for someone who knows every nook and cranny of them.
Keyword server time. Now imagine the opposite where you are playing on a gaming night but the server time is 7am so its always bright and sunny in every map. Not very cool now :(
Yeah, overwatch really hurts. It removed characters kits, Mei's ice, Mccree's flashbang, bastion and torbiorn. Like they could of just added like different weapon kits for heroes if they were gonna do that, let you keep playing with the old kit, but have this new kit. If you just remove how a character has played for years you basically just removed them from the game people payed for.
I don’t even know if this is actually confirmed, at the time I heard different stories about the situation alleging and denying the accusations but clearly one side is all I hear now and that’s all that matters apparently, time to change things from the inside out I suppose like the other companies.
The devs themselves were actually good people but sadly worked for something as evil as Activision. They actually had to fight them to make characters not be dlc in OW1. That was back in 2016 when Blizzard still had room to argue against Activision's intrusions. Sadly that's gone because Acti is deeply rooted inside Blizzard now
Would like to mention a few things I found differently than within this review of overwatch 2, I found it that you can endorse people in your group, as long as they're not your friend on battle net, which I know is rare but I've ran into that situation before myself. Also, my personal experience with flex queue is 80% support and there's still a chance at getting dps or tank, he is correct that you will most of the time get support though. The game feels a bit janky and don't get me started with the problem with people being kicked from lobbies and are unable to rejoin even if they tried. Thank you so much for this video and I enjoyed it a lot! I've played way too much overwatch lol!
I remember when I finally said I was done with Overwatch. I played the game from when Ashe came out, to I think the August of 2020. I had a lot of fun with the game when I first played it and loved playing as a healer to help my team. But near the end of 2020, I realized I was no longer having fun. I played the arcade just to get those 9 wins to get 3 loot boxes and the inevitable 2 or 3 I would get from leveling up in the process. I was stressing myself out with loss after loss all for a costume for someone I might play. And with this being the year we didn't get any new content, I knew we weren't going to get anything in the following seasons, so I dropped the game and never looked back. I had some fond memories of playing it, but not enough to keep me playing it. In the end, I'm glad I dropped the game.
THANK YOU for doing this video. Nobody listens to me when I talk about the map redesigns. It's all orangy, boring and harder to see. Im glad to find out I wasnt alone with this opinion.
That Tracer's Bombing Mission FF edit was adorable and very well put-together! Love the video! Glad to see someone so well-spoken who can speak up for everyone who cares about what the game was and could be. Amazing work!
I am not a masochist so I actually enjoyed the game more when GOATs got fucking obliterated. I'm not sure where these people who think GOATs era was better are coming from but they're insane.
@@parkingmeters2646 no. I'm saying for example, pigeonholing people into roles made the experience less fun, it doesnt allow for fluidity in a match. If an attack hero is a better medic, and a medic is a better attack hero, they have the ability to switch. Yeah sure they could have chosen at the beginning the appropriate roles, but the lack of allowance in these scenarios is what annoys me.
Returning to this video after they cancelled the PVE, the one thing they promised OW1 had been sacrificed for. Overwatch 2 really is nothing more than a cash shop and a monetization update. A sequel, it is not.

This turned into a real long goodbye, but I wanted to be fair and balanced to the unreasonable and greedy game.
I need a rest now...
Dont worry , they will solve all the problem in overwatch 3
Unfortunate that they never removed forced losses from the game. Dogshit Devs = Dogshit game
If you let something so insignificant to actual gameplay ruin the game for you, then i can't really see how you were a fan to begin with. if microtransactions make you leave then that seems like you only care about cosmetics, in which case Overwatch was not for you anyways.

My thing with Moira is that I don’t really care that she can teleport, I agree with that, and I also have no problem with Kiriko
You’ll find I like each and every support because playing Support, IS NOT EASY
But my thing I hate about Moira is that not only does her attack heal her as she deals damage, but it practically locks on to its target, unless you can duck behind a wall between shots (which she can easily teleport behind as well) you’re gonna have a rough time dealing with her
I’ve been using Hanzo lately because I’ve been wanting to hone my skills, if I can hit someone with a tiny hit box like Moira’s or Kiriko, with an arrow that takes time to travel a distance and not a bullet that just zips straight to its target, I shouldn’t struggle too much against her when I play heroes like Bastion, Cassidy or Soldier
Kiriko saved this game for me. I almost quit because I did not want to be stuck playing Moira all season just to fucking survive this game.

Because they want the only sense of progression to be from the endlessly-resetting battle pass that you have to pay for.
Or as HP Lovecraft put it 'At some point humanities accumulated disparate knowledge will lead it to a reality so horrifying they will go mad from it, or run screaming back into the comfort of a new dark age.' (paraphrase)
Used the play mercy, zen and Moira. Now I don’t play at all. That was the evolution from OW to OW2
I think the thing that really hammered the nail in the coffin for me was removing the find group function.. here's a team based game but gfy play by yourself
It kinda is the same thing? If you play alone you get random teammates, if you look for a group, you get random teammates
You’ll never get potg as someone like mercy but at least they used to show how much healing you done and damage amp assist you had. Now it’s nothing no display for being a good support which will make ppl just want to play dps and tank even more
But everyone can see your healing? It makes it so that you can’t lie ,while your damage amp doesn’t change other then there not being medals.
@@lostmind9072 yeah which is good they should keep leaderboards but people will briefly see it and not rlly care or say non in chat hence why as a support it feels unnoticed as where at the end with the gold medal it’s put for display

@@megacringe6475 Do they think the community can keep the game alive without any major update? and that may be true in most parts but it doesn't mean that the game needs these updates and valve should leave it be we have rights as players.
Man Blizzard just dont know what theyre doing
People just crap on each other more during the match.
People are genuinely just pathetic now
For a DT project all the way back when I was doing my GCSE’s, I had an ‘Overwatch Artbook’. Studying it over and over it’s permanently burned into my mind, despite me not playing much of the game. True. Activision is basically the one controlling Acti-Blizz. Im sure the Blizzard in them made this game but Im sure Activision had some part in some of the monetization. If only Activision didn't buy Blizzard to fuse with them into becoming something worse than both of them.
In modern buisness, if the goal of the company is "growth". then removing the soul is a must. Which for most companies in the buisness of making profit, strive to do.

I think Fortnite BR's Monetization is really fair, even if you don't buy V-Bucks stuff like the battle pass give 300 V-bucks every season, give it a few months and Youll earn enough for the battle pass.
Fortnite's Influence is a Blessing and a Curse. As other games have tried implementing this Battle Pass system. Games like Fall Guys and Rocket League in my opinion do it just fine in my opinion
But then we have games that sort of misused this concept for profit. Our example here. Overwatch 2, It cost 10 dollars as I see most BPs do but this battle pass doesn't give any of the currency back its clear Acti-Blizz is trying to earn more profit by making people pay 10 dollars each time they want the battle pass.

Awesome video man! Puts some of my feelings into words I wouldn't have found
22:30 OMORI OST MUSIC??? Good video. Really fun to watch and listen to.
In the new game mode sucks so much , it takes like 30 secs to catch up with your team if you died
I wonder which support character you're referring to that has quicker TTK that it's better to get the kill yourself?
Tanks are by far the most broken but the role isn't played because it's the easiest to blame
@@slip-eez2477 wdym the role isn't played what, it has massively risen in popularity. Plus in ow1 role q was added so you couldn't switch on the fly... which is a good thing cause we got some awful metas from it and games were just dictated by "lol, their team has 4 dps and mine has 3 with a tank gg" And both games were a teamfight sim, it has always been that way and always will.
What’s this? No campaign still, questionable balance dessions, and greed pricing? Glad I fell off it years ago.
I couldn't find a video that summed up my thoughts so perfectly as you have done here. So many support the 5v5 change but as a healer/tank player I also felt that loss in dynamic when working with another tank and how playing support is a game of "can I keep the sole tank alive".
rip overwatch, you deserved more than this

So its like they lied to players why they were doing nothing with game?
@@predatorterroru Since at least 18 months ago... basically yes! Oh but they still do a lot with the game, they add like a new $30 skin bundle every other week. Terrific, isn't it?
blizzard chose greed over making a good playing experience. at least OW as the r34 gang to keep it relevant somewhat...
"Another fun aspect of the blob meta is that I found it's much easier to push people back to their spawns and keep them there."
Demomains: allow us to introduce ourselves
6 months later and the PVE is gone lmao. Truly RIP Overwatch
They took 6v6 game with every character that was specifically designed for 6v6 mode, and made it 5v5 without changing anything lol.
Except they did. The game is more aggressive now
When you talk about Objective time, one thing you notice the higher you go up the ranks is that the game isn’t even about the objective itself, it’s about winning the team fight.
This comment makes no sense lmao..
Not very cool now :(
they should make it an option in the settings
This is an excellent presentation of what era of gaming we are at right now. Subbed!
Now, that the PVE is officially cancelled, this video hits a little bit different...
Funny how Overwatch is all about being a hero who saves the world, but the publishers behind it were the true villains.
Wow it even has a Huntsman? That's amazing. Every video I watch makes TF2 seem cooler
THANK YOU for doing this video. Nobody listens to me when I talk about the map redesigns. It's all orangy, boring and harder to see. Im glad to find out I wasnt alone with this opinion.
Don't tell him that they never even planned to release the PVE but just decided it's best not to tell us
That Tracer's Bombing Mission FF edit was adorable and very well put-together! Love the video! Glad to see someone so well-spoken who can speak up for everyone who cares about what the game was and could be. Amazing work!
Its absolutely insane how with each subsequent update the game got less fun lmao

@@parkingmeters2646 There were 2-3 years of the game being out before GOATS was discovered.

Blizzard handled this game the worst possible way 😂

At first I laughed at wanting a gold objective rather than any other gold medal. Now joining a Overwatch 2 server and having an actual tank on objective or a dip tank actually dip is non existent.
