Hey I'm not unhappy with his upload rate if anything i would be sad when he would have to slow down 😆😆😆
He said, not long ago, that he works on 1 at most 2 cars a day now, just to keep in-the-know and busy. Let's guess that he works 3-5 hours a day on cars, then he has at least a two or three-hour window to record, edit and upload videos. Plus it seems he works from home and doesn't spend an hour in the car each day; time saver. All that equipment he gets now to review and attention from thousands each day, probably make his day. People like you watch and get great info.

Warren Distribution: Same oil as Walmart Supertech. Nothing wrong with it.
Mag 1 is made by them also and is outstanding oil.
Now if you want to spend even less money per quart and get a higher quality oil (synthetic blend), Sam's Club has Phillips 66 oil available in 5w30 and 10w30 in 12-quart cases.
@tyvek05 I think Scotty said that The Red Line could possibly be as good as the Amazon (if not better) but it did not bear the seal as to having been tested to see if it met the newer requirements.

Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 heavy duty diesel oil. It is full synthetic. $20/gal. Rated for 80,000 miles in over the road trucks. I use that in everything. I’d put it on salad if I ate salad.

loud Ring yes I do. I used it in my Land Rover Discovery for 100,000 miles, and I use it in my Toyota Land Cruiser. I use it in my lawn mower too. When I drove cement truck we used it in the engine, hydraulic systems on the trucks and bulldozers, front end loaders...everything. It is even Allison transmission approved so they told us, so we used it in those too. I wouldn’t put it in the Allison transmission of your Duramax truck, but at the time our mechanic said use it, so we did. When you have a fleet of equipment you want one fluid to do it all, Shell Rotella was that fluid. I only use it in my engines, and I will bet the farm on that oil.

The best thing you can do is to use the oil and filter combo of your choice, run them for your oil change interval and then take a SOS (service oil sample) and the results will tell you exactly how well that oil and filter performed. The lab will recommend shortening or lengthening your oil changes. Or even changing oil brands. Blackstone labs will send you a oil sample kit for free, then follow the directions and send it in. It’s $35 for a oil sample test.
They told me that I can easily go 15,000 miles on the Rotella and Purolator PureOne oil filter that I use. But I do not. I change it every 5,000 miles because I need to grease both drive shafts, that’s 6 grease fittings and unless I’m changing the oil I will not grease them. Plus changing the oil is when you need to be checking other things as well, transmission, transfer case, differential fluid levels too. I know me and I will not do those things unless I am under the truck already.
I am a commercial driver, have been for 26+yrs and maintenance is life. If those wheels are not turning I am not making money. Break downs cost money in down time, repairs and truck rental. Not cool yo. Always be pro active in maintenance and repairs. It will save you money and headache every time.

I’ve used Walmart Super Tech full synthetic with great results. All the fancy numbers and letters as the big boy labels. Bottom line you like pretty bottles you will pay more.
NO! read it again. It doesnt say meets or exceeds the standards it say you can use the oil in the same way as products that have. They didnt actually meet the standards themselves, they are scamming people who skim read.

People say the super tech stuff sucks because it's dirtier than crap after 5000 miles but that's because it cleans the sludge out of you motor. But we used it for years with no problems.
@@davidvickers8425 what are you talking about? It has the API SP rating on the back and it has the official API label on the front. Regardless of how the sentences in the back are structured, it needs to meet the requirements to even be able to have the labels. Other TH-cam channels have checked and verified that the oil is pretty much on par with other name brands

Thank you. I am always checking out your TH-cam videos. It's helping me so much.
You can find out how good an oil is by taking a sample of the virgin oil and the used oil that you take out when you change it, and send them both to a lab that will do a Used Oil Analysis. They will tell you how well it performed in your car, and also detect things like copper particles which could indicate excessive engine wear. This is a good objective test of oil, instead of just saying, "it worked".
I totally agree with you Scotty. I used to change my car's oil at different and reputable places including dealerships (when i have a new car), but i found out that they Overcharged me and didn't use the quality of oil that i paid for, here in Los Angeles. It takes me 30 minutes now to change the oil ( Synthetic), all filters and i save $150.00 every time!

As a employee of Warren Dist. inc. for 15 years now, i thank you for the plug...and i can attest to the fact that Scotty is NOT getting any kind of kick back or compensation for this. Warren is far too frugal for that. We are the highest quality , highest customer service , independently owned oil company in the country. Bytheby , we also, just opened a new plant last year right there in Houston.
Also , look for Mag 1 motor oil . thats Warren . Wal-mart brand. thats us. and some others. Like Scotty said companies by our oil and put there name on it. Not sure why Warren likes that. but they do..

I don’t think you can base quality of oil just by looking at the API/SN certification stamp. Every oil will break down differently and contain a completely different additive pack. The best way to compare the different oils, or even see how well the oil works in your particular engine, is to take a sample of oil at the same mileage and send it off to get tested by a used oil analysis lab. This will tell you how well the oil is performing and whether it is actually a good oil or not.
Did you watch the clip? If the oil claims to be 5W40 and is API approved it is on par with all other 5W40 API approved oils; absolutely no need for laboratory testing because API have done the laboratory testing!
@@edgarbleikur1929 Yeah but Igor Cabrilo has got a point. Those tests were probably conducted under Laboratory conditions. What Igor is proposing is real world, real life testing. Don't always go believing what you read is my advice. Always be cautious of claims.

How do you know the api aren't intentially breaking down the oil by running them through an engine?
@@M1LAD81 D'ya think? The stated lab results on bottles are the best place to start before you pay to run it in your world!
Real world conditions involve too many variables. Lab testings can eliminate some of these variables.

How about the guys loading and unloading the trucks? I worked at FedEx unloading trucks, during the summer. Offices ordered walls of copier paper. Let’s just say I understand when a box has been tossed around.

I've often found Amazon Basics products to be good quality, but stating "top notch" tells me your notches aren't very high. I can almost always find something a notch or two higher. Granted that notch usually costs more too!

Yeah I've been a real believer in the Amazon basics brand ever since I got some camera gear from them. Then I got a very nice quality HDMI cable for half the price I would of paid to another brand.
