Its very rare that people actually do a video series on theatres specifically. Love your work bro. And the thing u said, single screen aura is much much better. Its so true.
5:01 I heard you mentioning the IMAX theater in Palazzo cinema! I didn't know you actually knew about that cinema in Nexus Vijaya mall in Chennai! It's my most favourite cinema because of its BEAUTIFUL grand Italian architecture! I recently went there to watch a new movie called "Inside Out 2" in IMAX.
@@KDCloudy me too! It was opened in November 2015 according to online resources, and then the IMAX theater opened on July 30 2018 also according to online resources. I remember going there many times until 2018 as a child, unaware of IMAX or anything like that.
I watched Dune 2 thrice. Once in IMAX twice in dolby Atmos (Inox Bhubaneswar and Prasad PCX). But I liked vibration effect of 6 channel IMAX than both Atmos.
When you mention Prasad IMAX at Hyderabad. Is it really an original IMAX that runs film negatives or is it just another digital projecting imax projectors?
Prasads does not have the IMAX licenses anymore but they use equivalent off the shelf laser projectors + Dolby Atmos. Watch my previous video to learn more
Have you ever been to PVR Manisquare Kolkata screen no. 4. It's has a screen size 70 feet height and 90 feet wide. And this is probably the biggest screen in PVR's possession. Sadly they use it for PVR pxl.
Yup! My relatives stay in Kolkata so I managed to visit Mani Square last year. Definitely a former IMAX, loved watching a movie in it Its 86ft in width, and was Aeren R IMAX inside the Cinemax multiplex. I want to make a dedicated video on Aeren R but I simply haven’t found enough information
Hello bro appreciate it if you make a video on kalki trailer and pcx prasad is updating the screen for kalki, love it if you make a video on that as well about your experience
Sure Some quick thoughts on Lower Parel IMAX Its grand and bigger audi and loads of seats than all Mumbai IMAXes Love the premium lobby, and seats And its a ditto photocopy for the Bangalore’s Nexus Mall Koramangala IMAX because both of then were build during the same time But the ceiling height is very low, and because of that screen appears to be wider. Sitting closer to the screen will solve this
@@KDCloudy thanks.. continuing this why u think audience will have a better viewing experience in lower parel then Eros..?My friends has said the screen in Eros is bigger(atleast in width).
Why can’t they build proper 70mm IMAX screen with latest GT laser projector in Mumbai or Delhi…. Prasad constructed proper 70mm IMAX screen way back in 2005…. Now we are in 2024 still PVR or INOX can’t build a proper 70mm screen like Traumplast Leonberg IMAX in Germany… I know it’s difficult to build in malls but they can build in there individual properties like Eros Mumbai, Priya Delhi or in Bangalore…. I don’t understand why these Indian companies can’t build these kind of projects properly…

Before 25 years...in Mumbai's Iconic ADLABS Theater ( wadala): there is IMAX DOME. I have watched T REX movie in Gigantic Biggest Screen From wall to Roof covered with screen you can see the movie in every Nook & corner. But I think this IMAX Theater Not working nowadays?
You know what’s more distracting than wrinkles on the screen? Subtitles…on a 55+ foot screen blasting at you the entire show! Argh! 😡 Infuriating. I don’t know why all theatres do that 🤷🏽♂️
