      I have a concrete roof to a basement which is partly ground level, which we park a car on outside.
      It is at the moment covered with a rubberised paint.
      After planing the surface would epoxy be waterproof and suitable to park on?

    Super, shouldn't you have put some masking tape round the edges and bollards so you get a nice neat finish? Also, can you use fine river sand instead of silica sand?

    I have a carport that I'd like to put epoxy on. It's currently the weird little tiny rocks with a clear coat over them. Had that when we bought the house, but over time the tiny rocks became loose and came off, leaving an uneven surface in a few places. COuld I use the epoxy as a filler and a thick coat over the rocks without having to scrape or cut out all of the tiny rocks?

    Wondering how it looks now. Do you live up north. Wondering how it wears. How often do i need to do this. And is there a special way to freshin it up or same method. Does it chip peal or hot tire pickup? I see so many of these videos over the years but rarely any followup.

    One thing about the non slip additive / silica sand.
    It comes in various mesh sizes. The standard sand provided
    is a bit 'fine' for Winter non slip in areas which get snow and ice.
    I'd suggest a larger sharp silica sand or equivalent in those locations.
    That's been our experience with epoxy on walks and floors outside.

  • @bonecc4061

    How does it work in snow? Will the sand make it not slippery? And if you put the grip will a snow plow have no problem with it?

    I have a concrete slab over my garage and we believe that water is seeping through it into the garage since we constantly get water in there after rain/winter. If we sealed it with this epoxy would that make it weather proof and if so how much time can I expect to get out of it? Thanks for the video.

My question is, what could/should/would I put down for the resin to be poured into as I'm guessing right on the soil isn't it.😊 I'm rather tired of the temporary option I currently have. This was enviro epoxy. You could apply it over tiles but its meant for concrete. Thanks so much for watching!

      You could use that over plywood it will stick to wood as well. I've also used this epoxy on drywall!

    What exactly was the solvent?

    • @JeffLepard
      @JeffLepard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The solvent was used to prolong the hardening to buy me a bit more time. I can find out what it was it is available with the kits.

    TAPE AROUND CUT WITH SMALL ROLLER USE BRUSH ON THE CORNERS AND ROLL

    • @JeffLepard
      @JeffLepard  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that would be fast as well if I did that. Just have to peel the tape fast so it doesn't dry.
