One of the best things about this video is you are so nice and answer just about all the questions. So many make videos and ignore the real needs that people ask about so they can do it too. That's a really awesome thing you do. Your answers really help learn a lot plus the video just rocks❣️
Thanks for your comment!
You do a really good job narrating how to do this. The way you explain it is a great transfer of knowledge of something foreign and complex (to me) to really understanding how it would approach this. Thank you for posting.
Thank you very much!

I don't have a driveway, much less an unfinished concrete one. I have no idea how I got here, but I watched the whole video and learned something new.
Sweet , it's cool to watch a craftsman at work. I am a Mason of 43 years , concrete is an art in itself. Great video , you make it look easy , but that's years of experience, well done.👍👍
Thanks 👍
@@TerrafuseInc Can You give me a list of Materials I need for a Project like this please?

When you really knows what you’re doing it’s easy to do. You’re competent!!

What name of cement you have
I can see you have a passion about what you can do. Talk to several contractors about doing this layer over the existing driveway they don't want to hear it. Awesome skills 👍
For good reason. This stuff is a cheap fix that you will only regret a year later.
Yes, hard to teach old dogs new tricks 😉

We have done this floor after floor building after building. We made knee boards with bolts as pegs to keep us raised up to trowel finish. To me this was an awesome day we got work done and did not kill ourselves. One gets really good at toweling. ;- )
You did a majestic job in doing the job and articulating it in a nice fashion.
Skilled ! You made it look a lot easier than it would be ! 👍👍

Yeah, speaking of cracks, the vid ended right before the guy to to the cracked section of concrete. That was specifically what I wanted to see tackled 🤔

Bodgy concreters don't go to any details of a job they do. The concrete they pour cracks after two weeks. Its a great job mate, thanks for the info. I need to seal the cracks in my concrete. Fantastic job.

Thanks for the video man ..
Very nice video! Lots of good information and very much to the point. I do drywall skim coating and this is very similar in technique (as to how you trowel it out).

Good tutorial instruction video . Thanks for sharing .
Pro to a pro. Pure talent

Great trowel skills! Way harder than he makes it seem.
Its all about pressure on the heel or toe of the trowel and knowing when to open or close your trowel in, after you got that it’s all just muscle memory 💪🏼
Love to see it after a couple of years of Frost and Freezing Temperatures and traffic.
I will show you. A lot of people have asked this, so I went back and took a video 3 years after installation was done. Stay tuned!

@@TerrafuseInc Thanks for that after 3 years that’s impressive I understand what you said about the existing crack , is this product available in England or Europe.
That's freakin ART!
Clean accurate work.
Wow, good job
This is got to be WAY cheaper than removal and replacement of the entire project area! And I love saving money!
Yes!!
Nice job, you explained the process well.
Nothing like a pro !
Cool stuff and nice look.
Ive done a few overlays with the simple 1 cement 2 sand and of course proper preparation. Though with this product I can see being able to stand behind it when getting into challenging jobs with a variety of repairs.
By far the best video on this topic thanks
Thank you for your feedback!
Excellent job maybe not easy for a beginner. Your experience shows.
Thanks. Definitely takes some experience to do it smooth, but the product allows you to do a wide variety of applications!
I need this to be done in my horrible looking patio .
This worker is incredibly skillful at this job. I believe that very few DIY'ers can achieve this quality, and I also believe that most hired contractors can not achieve this level of quality.
Great vid!

Thanks for sharing this video here
Very impressed by the work here guys.
Amazing!!
Great video. Will this work on an old basement slab that has many 1/8"-1/2" deep pockets and the top surface still has paint?
Yes, but you need to grind the paint off first, so you have clean, porous concrete.
Well done great video thanks
Wow that's real nice 👌 never seen something like that .I give you 100%
Thank you
Can you give any advice regarding existing concrete with cracks in it? I suppose if the cause isn't dealt with it may just crack again. Great video; you make it look easy. I'm sure it takes lots of practice.

I do mainly sidewalks. If the crack is on an expansion joint going off course, diamond saw it about an inch & 1/2 deep on the expansion joint. Drill out the part of the crack off course with a SDS maximum 5/8" drill. Go 2 to 3 inches deep. Force all the holes together with the chisel blade. Clean it out good. I mix mortar & sand mix together to fill the area. Touch up with the saw again if needed. I've never had my sidewalk crack after the repair.
Looks like a very small driveway . I've seen garage floors being done with 2 part epoxy totally amazing results .... $1800
What is the contract no?
Thanks for the great show and tell. I liked that you told while the work was being done. For a mind like mine, this sticks (no pun intended) to the inside of my skull.
Awesome!
Nice that it can be layered on in incremental steps. Good to know!
Absolutely!
A 1/4 quarter of a inch of concrete mix, should hold up pretty well on a smooth surface, even in really adverse winter condition,if the process is done correctly and curd properly
For a year or two maybe
Portland cement will not bond to concrete. Our material is not portland cement, and is designed to bond directly to cured concrete.
@@LiudasLT I put some on my garage floor about 10 years ago. Holding up great and I live in Michigan.

Hello Terrafuse
I just found your channel and subscribed. My question is can this be used to fill in cracks in the existing concrete? My second question is how clean does it have to be to adhere to the existing concrete surface? This has to do with pollution/mold we have here that turns the concrete surface black.
Again thank you
Here is a way to address cracking before overlaying a slab th-cam.com/video/o5UYlJmKhAE/w-d-xo.html
The concrete needs to be clean, so the TF structural can bond to it. Best way to ensure this is to pressure wash it up and close.
Thanks!
I was memorized throughout the whole video haha

How long does it last?

5-15yrs
Great in every thing including his way of taking as a teacher

Great video men!!!
WOW!!! How much does this cost for a one car concrete drive way?
About $6/foot if you have a contractor do it, depending on the condition, and where you live.
is this stronger than epoxy coating concrete...neighbor has epoxy coating over her patio..it looks good but i told her in a year or 2 itll fade and crack..epoxy should be done indoor like garages
Yes, it is meant for outside. UV light will breakdown epoxies.
FANTASTIC!!!
Very helpful thank you
Hi, Great work ! I have a concrete steps in the front of my house that has developed cracks and is crumbling everywhere.
I've patched it several times but it doesn't hold up. Would this hold up for several years ? Especially during our Ontario winters ?
You bet! Proper prep is key, getting all the loose concrete of first.
Did you watch the stair videos?
@@TerrafuseInc Just watched it ! Where can i get this product in Ottawa ?
Please call us, we will sell it to you directly from our warehouse in Etobicoke. Thanks!
You know how that's going to go when common guy does it lumps, dips and cussing throwing tools .
Yes, it can be very frustrating, like any trade done at the start. Begin with a small manageable area, and work your way up 👍
Offer to help your friends, neighbors, relatives. Then do your house, starting at the back, lol.
@@TerrafuseInc hell I have seen prophionale s act that way before lol 😂😬
I just KNEW that someone was watching me last time I tried this.
Or you just dump it and it turns into a soup runs off the slope of the driveway.. Now you got a clogged drain somewhere down the line or a concrete line going down the street.
Looks great!
Thanks!
Learned something here...thanks
Hi i want to know how much you do the overlay concrete.
@7:34 Shouldn't you epoxy in that crack before applying the final product?
th-cam.com/video/xvq0TXjMfeU/w-d-xo.html
Well done. Thank you.
lol Think he's done that once or twice?? Making it look WAY easier than it really is haha
It is literally that easy. Everyone always overworks the mix.
After floating the overlay, can you dye or imprint for decoration etc?
Yes, you can stamped it. If you add colour, you will need to seal it after to keep it vibrant.
Yes I’m asking the same for my project thanks
