This review is one of the 3 that I watched that made me comfortable getting a 2013, but with the 5.0L. I traded in my 2021 Jeep Wrangler for this. I am much happier going back to a truck, and particularly a Ford.

Im looking at a 2013 f150 crew cab over the weekend with only 51,000 miles on it. XLT 4wd, amazing shape truck, if i buy it im getting it for a steal basically
These older trucks are so much more of a value than the new trucks. The new trucks with the digital bar graph gauges are nonsense. The older style with pure needle on dial analog displays is much better. Cleaner and easier to read under all conditions. These trucks if taken care of should easily last 300,000 mi!
I got an 06 Ranger and I’ve been looking at these new trucks and even considered getting the new Ranger but hell if a ‘13 F-150 has all these features why not just spring for this and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper too.

How easy is it to upgrade the radio and add factory remote start?
I don’t think it’s too difficult on these this generation.
I have been pricing Sync system upgrades and you are looking at anywhere from $700-$1700 depending on OEM or offbrand replacements.
