If i want to shoot a 4:3 video with anamorphic lens and desqueeze it to 16:9, instead of 21:9, which anamorphic lens do i need to choose, 1.33 or 1.55?

Is any part of the example footage in this video cropped? I’m using version one of this lens and the edges of the lens always show up in my footage - but I am using the beastgrip pro version (on an iPhone 13 Pro Max) before beastgrip started shipping the upgrade pieces. Earlier this week I ordered the upgrade pieces which I hope resolve the issue; but then I saw the MK2 was released and ordered that too - now I have both anamorphic lenses. I bought the newer version for that edge to edge crispness and hoping I no longer see the lens in my footage - cropping would be a bummer after having paid for all this gear. Still an outstanding company with great customer service.
Hi Jacob, Thank you for your support! We did not crop any of the footage, the new MK2 lens has no vignetting on cameras up to 24mm wide. With upgraded lens mount you will get perfect results.

you can attach 62mm filter directly on this lens or use step up ring for a bigger size filters which is more recommended.

Guys! I have this question! Can you mount your phone to the body of the car? Will autofocus break on it because of this?
with focus is tricky, you have to check all the time and make sure it is in the focus.. we recommend using 3rd party apps like Beastcam for this
