The difference is that t series is better for iPhone for 14/15/16 models because the lenses in these phones are bigger, so they made bigger lenses and you don’t have issues in your images.
Brilliant as always! Did you favor one flare color over the other. Normally I’d go with the conventional wisdom of blue for urban, gold for nature. But I noticed the blue flare, besides being well-controlled, was green at times and seemed like it might do okay in nature.
Hmmm. Good question. I haven't tried the Beastgrip 1.33x unfortunately although I know they make fantastic lenses. Moments lenses are smaller and easier to use in run and gun situations.
Ah no I let go of the 180 shutter rule for those shots. If I had more time to prep then I ideally would have used ND filters for sure. These were shot more to show the flares.
Hello and thank you for all you do. My question is, what gimbal would you recommend for an iPhone 14 Pro Max/Beastcage/Beastgrip 1.55 Anamorphic lens. Also, how does this 1.33 compare to Beastgrip 1.33? Thanks and be well.
Very good content. Keep it up! I'm looking at what lens to buy. Which one do you think is the best? The Beastgrip 1.33X Anamorphic Lens MK2 or the Moment Anamorphic 1.33x. Greetings from Lima, Peru
I want to buy this anamorphic lenses but still dont know if i choose the M or the T series. as far as i know, the T is much more focused on all video area, while the M are much more focused on the middle video? Or am i wrong?
Excellent Video i was looking for👏 Thank you & humble question👉 which Anamorphic T series 1.55 lens ( Blue vs Gold ) better suited for Samsung S23 Ultra for Cinemetic Videography? Always Stay Safe🙏
@SmartphoneFilmmaker What's Your expert Advice for Smallrig universal Cage MC 4 model 4299 for Samsung S23 ultra? Can it wil hold Properly Phone + Addon Lenses without any shaking or other issue? Exactly the comparison that I was looking for! Thank you for doing this and taking the time to put this great review together.
Thanks so much for the great feedback. You’re very welcome!
Do you prefer 1.55X or 1.33X? I have the 1.55x but now im debating if I should get a 1.33X instead.
What is the weight of the 1.33 anamorphic lens? Thank you Frans
Great thorough review Rob! Love the side-by-side comparison, really shows the difference between the 2 looks
Thanks mate! I love side by sides comparisons too. 👍🏻
Cool. Do you know the difference btw t series and m series?
The difference is that t series is better for iPhone for 14/15/16 models because the lenses in these phones are bigger, so they made bigger lenses and you don’t have issues in your images.
Would beastgrip lenses be better for future proofing against larger cameras on phones due to the larger mount?
@@jonathanrose456 Hmmm. Probably yeah as you can link them up with the Beastgrip Pro rig which is pretty future proof.
Nice concise video Rob, I recently switched over to the Beastgrip anamorphic 1.33x gold flare, which is also very good.
Thanks so much! Yes Beastgrip are fantastic too. I have a 1.55x Anamorphic lens of theirs which is indeed very good.

Great content bro 💪🏼. I have a doubt, Would you rather to choose a beastgrip 1.33X Anamorphic Lens MK2 over a Moment T series 1.33x anamorphic?
Hmmm. Good question. I haven't tried the Beastgrip 1.33x unfortunately although I know they make fantastic lenses. Moments lenses are smaller and easier to use in run and gun situations.
How did you get the clear shots of the sun with the lenses without an ND filter? Did you not keep the shutter at 180?
Ah no I let go of the 180 shutter rule for those shots. If I had more time to prep then I ideally would have used ND filters for sure. These were shot more to show the flares.

Beastgrip lenses are the best in the market, and for the gimbal you can consider Zihyun or Dji.

Beastgrip are best lenses, period.

M series Suitable for Smartphone launch before 2022 & T series is New Smartphone launch 2023 onwards..Hope this wil help👍
0:39 Should't it be "smooth five-arse gimbal" in british english?
Have you done a video on the “best” anamorphic lens?
@@TheBlackJewelz No I haven’t. I actually don’t have that many but I do have a couple of 1.33x Blue flares I wanted to compare at some point for sure.
@@SmartphoneFilmmaker Gotcha. I just saw the moment vs. beastgrip, that was very helpful
@@TheBlackJewelz Thanks! More to come in the future.
Hello Rob! Great video 👏 Do you know if the 1.33 works well even with the 5x telephoto of the pro max? Thanks and keep it up with your good job
You’re very welcome! It might be a push to be honest. Perhaps Moment mention this on one of their promo videos.
Excellent Video i was looking for👏 Thank you & humble question👉 which Anamorphic T series 1.55 lens ( Blue vs Gold ) better suited for Samsung S23 Ultra for Cinemetic Videography? Always Stay Safe🙏
Hmmm. If you want a more sci-fi cooler look then the blue would be best. Gold will be better for sunny days with a warmer feel to your shots.

@@rrjjgg101 Hey. I haven't used that cage or phone so I can't advise. Hope you find your answers!
@@SmartphoneFilmmaker Thank You
Too much distortion in the corners for me right now.
Better 😊
