James, This might actually make me excited. It doesn't look like this new Pac-Man Plus has the same extreme recessed monitor slant as found in the Pac-Man Deluxe and XL, and if this is the case, then getting this new Pac-Man Plus cabinet would ABSOLUTELY be worth it, because you wouldn't have to deal with the garbage screen uniformity issues found on the XL and Deluxe Pac-Man cabs. The model of BOE Arcade1Up chose for the Deluxe and XL Pac-Man's couldn't handle the new design slant, just another corner Arcade1Up was willing to cut. This is why I passed on the Deluxe and XL Pac-Man's (well, I also prefer risers) but I wasn't going to get a cabinet that had bad picture quality. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this new Pac-Man Plus will deliver a great picture while also giving us that larger game library. I currently have the Pac-Man Legacy Edition and I would LOVE to have those 2 additional games, Galaga 88 and Rolling Thunder. And though I don't care for the game Pac-Man Plus, it has possibly my favorite marquee art of all the Pac-Man machines. However, both of these additions don't make it worth $499 to me. This would have to come down to at least $199 before I'd even begin to consider it. I'd have to give up the classic yellow pac sideart I currently have (though I do like the look of the wood grain) and I'd have to give up my riser, which would suck. But if they could get the display quality right, so many people could upgrade to the new Pac-Man Plus Deluxe and get rid of their Pac-Man XL or Pac-Man Deluxe to get the better picture quality they deserve. vgv
The riser edition Pac Plus cab is actually pretty nice. But a Szabos replacement marquee and light up J-Panel is a must as the originals were very washed out. Joe Szabos used my j-panel as his first template and now he has them on his site for $40. Add the faux coin door and it really is a nice-looking cab. Nice enough for 1UP to rerun it as a slim deluxe--I am not so sure.
Sweet retro minded Arcade 1Up. Eternally dreaming of the days of yore when gaming was simple. Do they refuse to see that the modern day world has failing economics while the stores that still stock their products are fading into that retro past? Can they not see that everyone whom has had interest in their idea already has Pac-Man this and that? Do they remain unaware that the average consumer is stating that the dollar store is a crunch on their budgets and that home retro goodness is becoming out of reach? Banks are trembling. Jobs are being stressed. Credit cards are going introverted. And they... give us a wood grained console. They really should have faded away with the better years over trying to continue on in these times that history will surely be teaching about. I was thinking about such things as I got in an evening worth of Pac-Man and a little Tempest on my A1Up machines. If I could give A1Up any advice... get into the modding scene and start releasing upgrade boards for current machines. We consumers may not be so willing to buy the next retro thing for hundreds of dollars. Not during these times.
😒You guys need to wake up!!have you every heard of the term its a sucker born ever minute.the best thing that can happen if a new company comes out with people who knows what the community has been asking for a long time now🤔😖
I could tell immediately by the crappy, lit J-panel that it wasn't the new one (lol). But it's NOT a Deluxe... it's a "slim cady" that's even less deep than the regular Deluxe. In other words, it couldn't just be a too-tall Deluxe. It had to be a too-tall AND too thin slim cady. Ugh.
@@JamesHatesEverything so this is a fake video? LOL Do you have to pick it up because it’s not on their website. (Sam’s Club ) But other people are talking about it as if it’s real.
@nickybjammin7629 sames club sold it a couple years ago. It's not available there anymore. The new deluxe version is up for pre-order in books a million.
@@JamesHatesEverything okay cool! I hit subscribe earlier. I should’ve already been subscribed!! I can pre-order a $200 one? (199$) Sam’s Club order? That was hilarious, yeah I remember this was $199 at some point
4 way stick ?
Can't wait to get 2 of these for $100 each on clearance and mod them with 60 in 1's. Then would be a much better value.
Hey dude, I can’t tell if this is a real thing or not LOL Is there an actual arcade “one up Pac-Man plus” for $199 at Sam’s Club or not ?
@@nickybjammin7629No not currently it was a while ago
Where can you buy the riser from that matches? I can’t find it.
@@Mnewsome365 it was included with it.

Nice if you need a Pac-Man lol basically the same size as the slimcadie just no front lip at the floor but still smaller the the original deluxe cabs
Its weird that the arcade is on Walmart's online store as sold out.
Oh, wait a minute, it's the with the riser from the past. I guess slimcades work for people with narrow room space to work with.
Well
Played
PacMan is to Home Arcade Cabs like Batman is to Action Figures … they pay the bills 🤣🤣🤣
haha nice one! You're not wrong though. They are milking poor Pacman to death. Also, those 2 extra games are on the DIg Dug.
Pacmania too
Missing a couple of games😂

JamesShillsEverything I could tell this was the old riser model just from the washed out marquee and J-panel but nice try! 😂😂😂

Yep, noted the slimcady measurements at the end. Full 3+ inches more deep.
Same group of games...again.

@Leroyink 100% sarcasm. It's pointing out the fact they already did this design and it didn't sell well the first time.
