    CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Maggie (Cameron Diaz) shares a special thought at Rose's (Toni Collette) wedding.
    FILM DESCRIPTION:
Curtis Hanson's adaptation of Jennifer Weiner's novel In Her Shoes stars Toni Collette and Cameron Diaz as a pair of very close but very different sisters. Free-wheeling irresponsible Maggie Feller (Diaz) gets through her life thanks to her remarkable looks and her lack of scruples. She constantly goes to her straight-laced, plain-Jane successful lawyer sister Rose (Collette) for financial help. The two sisters have been very close to each other in part because their troubled mother died when they were girls. Right about the same time that Maggie discovers hidden letters that reveal she and Rose have a grandmother, Maggie does something to betray Rose's trust. Maggie sets off for Florida to find the grandmother. A failed workplace romance forces Rose to rethink her career, a career that has been the center of her life. As Rose tentatively begins a new relationship and Maggie gets to know her grandmother (played by Shirley MacLaine), the two learn a dark family secret that helps smooth the path toward reconciliation.

This is one of those films that, although not nearly enough people have seen it, those who have know that it will stay with them forever.

I sadly lost my sister a few months ago. She courageously fought cancer for 5 years. While watching this movie a year ago, I heard the poem and tucked it away. Days before she passed, I shared this poem with her. She touched her heart and told me it was in mine. Then fell asleep and passed peacefully onto her next journey. I will never forget how much my sister meant to me and am grateful. I will always carry her heart, I will carry it in my heart ❤(❤)e

What I love about this movie, I don't see the acting, I see a family with a full story, that's how great the acting was.

I love this movie. It reminds me of my sister. We're v close and certainly havent argued like Maggie and Rose, but the love is there. I really love this scene where Maggie plucks up the courage and reads the poem. It shows how much she has grown into a beautiful young lady and the bond with her sister is simply amazing. The whole wedding scene is great. The dance just everything. One if my lifetime fav films. I fell in love with the poem. It's one close to my heart ❤

To the light that created such a movie - to the light that wrote such a script - to the energy that inspired a connection to use a piece in a different manner showing how versatile intimate can be......thank you. Thank you to the being that put this piece here. Cheers to every light this movie touches

Anytime this movie is on, I watch it again, but love the last scene where they are driving away and Cameron Diaz, is watching her sister leave and the poem, "I Carry You in My Heart" is spoken at the end. Where can I find this ending scene?

Love this film about these sister but I can imagine if Michelle Pfeiffer was given a role as a Rose Feller, instead of Toni Collette. Don't get me wrong, I love Toni but Michelle with Cameron Diaz would evenly better match each other as a sibling roles in movie since they kinda look alikes🥰

    • @someoneyoudontknow7705
      @someoneyoudontknow7705 หลายเดือนก่อน

I think Toni was a better fit BECAUSE they don’t look alike…it helps to highlight just how different they were/are as sisters.
