Mecca Didn't Exist - It Had No Water! - More Meccan Problems with Dr. Jay - Episode 3

  • The city of Mecca is located amidst a vast desert region where there is no water. Where there is no water there is no vegetation, people, towns, cities, civilization, and no history, yet Muslims insist that Mecca’s current location has been a place of great historical importance and the origin of the religion. This simply cannot be. Watch as Al Fadi and Dr. Jay examine topographical maps to prove that Mecca could not have thrived where it is located in the south. Dr. Jay insists that Islam cannot exist without Mecca, so if the Mecca of the Quran isn’t real… then neither is Muhammad or Islam.

    About CIRA International
CIRA's mission and goal is to; create awareness about Islam as a religion and political movement; inform and challenge the Church concerning outreach and evangelism to Muslims, equip the believers with effective outreach tools, and advance the Gospel message among our Muslim neighbors & communities so that the vast majority of Muslims will begin a Gospel conversation with a Christ-follower.
CIRA exists to mobilize the Body of Christ across North America, and globally, to more effectively reach Muslims with the Gospel, by discipling and equipping believers, and by empowering church and community leaders to influence the Muslim world for Christ.

I gained so much knowledge from you and your channel and so with your guest like Dr. Smith and other realiable sources. I watched most of your videos, however, I think I have yet to watch more. Being an Arabian, I must say, you are a very open minded person and certainly not the concept of an Arabian I know. I have worked with quite a number of Arabs overseas and most of them pretty much are cut out of the same persona. I gave been tunning in to your channel and daily checking for new videos eventhough I have already subscribe. I hope you can share a bit of background about yourself and how you arrived at to what your interest are right now. If it not too much of a bother on your part. Just what to know more about the person with the same interest. More power to you Sir and your objectives in presenting the facts to the world.

historical research (and also common sense) proves that the city of Mecca could not have existed as a large commercial caravan city in the 7th century.
Main reasons for this fact are:
    1) Mecca is not an oasis, so there is no surface water (only a well, known as zamzam which is clearly unsufficient and inappropriate for watering many caravan camels)
    2) Mecca is not shown on any map or any document at that time or even previously
    3) Mecca is located down of Hidjaz plateau and could therefore not be located on the caravan route which is located more than 1000 m above on the plateau (eg the city of Taeef is located at an altitude of ca 2000 m while Mecca is at 300 m)
    4) there were no archeological remains or artefacts (coins, potteries, ruins, bones etc) discovered in Mecca dating from before circa year 700
It is impossible that a large city would leave no trace at all of its past
    5) no agriculture whatsoever is possible in this wild rocky desert location, how could a large city survive in such hostile environment ?

Literally most of this video is laughable and it sounds like Jay is using this no water narrative so he can say Muhammad SAWS never existed. And if a man who never lied, was always righteous, never hurt others, and always strived to help existed he would have to admit that he was a prophet since he shared Quran scripture with the Arabs.
That video has several inaccuracies and you should speak to multiple sheikhs or professors who’ve studied this. The idea that Mecca was in Petra ridiculous.

Utter nonsense, Islam is far from the religion of peace, and as for your comparison to Las Vegas that is hilarious 😂
Ever heard of the Colorado River? It supplies 90% of the water used in Las Vegas, both by its residents and the visitors, comes from the Colorado River. The water starts as rain and from the melting of the snow in the Rocky Mountains. The water then travels via several tributaries into the river. The water from River Colorado is shared by seven western states and Mexico, serving around 40 million people. Water conservation is the top priority of the State as the river supply has suffered severe drought for 20 years, reducing the water in Lake Mead. Since Nevada is still not using the full amount of water allocated to it, there will not be any impact on the current water use even if a shortage is declared.

The Zam-zam water drew the passing caravans and tribes from the South (Yemen) to this area and a small village called Mecca was created, Abraham returned on 3 occasions (he did not live in Mecca) to check up on Hagar and Ismael and they built the Kaaba on the foundations founded by Adam (First modern man).

The elevation & slope of the topography seemingly indicated on these maps, however, would indicate that any subterranean water would tend to be in the north, not higher up the slope to the south/west as any rain on the high ground would seek aquafers in the lowlands, in Iraq/Iran.

Correction, it was Arabs who conquered the Middle Eastern Empires. The Caliphate adopted Islam as the official religion around 800AD and then laid plans to gather all manuscripts containing the so called Quranic verses to produce a standardized version in the Arabic language which prior to that had no written form. Arabic was the language of illiterate Arab Bedouins. Only 23 versions were chosen where the majority were written in the Aramaic/Syro texts and the rest burnt. Hence, in translation there were many contextual and grammatical errors because there were no existing Arabic words or phrases at the time. The Hadiths then became an important secondary source of "filling the gaps" so to speak.

    Mecca the Bibel 1.
“Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes’? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits” (Matthew 21:42-43).
“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:22-23).
The place is other than Jerusalem
When Jesus Christ was asked about the place where worship must be conducted, he stated that worship will be conducted at a new place other than Jerusalem. Through the message of Islam as conveyed by the Prophet, the place of worship of God moved to Makkah.
“The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father” (John 4:19-21).
Makkah is forbidden for the unbelievers
“And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it” (Isaiah 35:8).
Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the Holy City of Makkah, exactly as described above.
“O, you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred House) after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise” (Quran 9:28).
Pilgrimage to Makkah in Isaiah (60:1-7)
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the Lord. All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple” (Isaiah 60:1-7).
    Paran in Moses’ prophecy
“And he (Moses) said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them” (Deuteronomy 33:2, KJV).
“The Lord came from Sinai” refers to God’s revelation unto Moses (PBUH). “He rose up from Seir” refers to His message from the Nazarene. “He shined forth from mount Paran“, refers to Makkah.
Ishmael and his descendants have lived in Paran. Muhammad (PBUH), the descendant of Ishmael and Kedar, is the only prophet who appeared in the wilderness of Paran. Therefore, God shines forth from Paran, through His message of Islam to Muhammad (PBUH).
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had to flee with his followers from Makkah to Madinah. However, he re-entered it again with ten thousand believers (referred to as saints in the above verses) to give the fiery Law of God.
Paran refers to Makkah in the Bible
Paran was the habitat of Hagar and Ishmael
Makkah is also referred to as “Paran” in the Bible. Ishmael and his mother Hagar settled in the desert of Paran after Abraham left them.
“And God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, ‘What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.’ Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer. Please forgive my ignorance here, but are you saying they Muhammad didn’t even exist then? Or that he and the Sahaba lives elsewhere and lied about Mecca? If indeed the stories about Mecca and Medina are false, wouldn’t have the people who lived in the 7th century when these events allegedly happened had known that no one lived in Mecca, and therefore it was a lie? And how then is Muhammad buried in Medina? I’m not asking these questions to be confrontational, I’m legitimately trying to understand your position. Thanks in Advance!

According to the Biblical book Songs of Solomon, the covenant was transferred from the דּוֹדִֽים dwdym (David's people or the Jews - Songs 5:1) to the מַחֲּמַדִּים mhmdyim (Muhammad's people - Songs 5:16). (Both words are Hebrew masculine, plural NOUNS which the Christian translators have rendered as the adjective, lovely in their translations to hide the transfer of the covenant.). The Hebrew plural, masculine nloun suffix 'ym' is used to denote the people of the nation to which the proper noun refers as in מּוֹאָבִים (Moabym or Moabites), Ammonites or Amonym עַמֹּנִים, Egyptians or Musrym מִּצְרִים, Chaldeans or Chasidym כַּשְׂדִּים, Lydians or Lydym לוּדִים etc. The words mhmdym and dwdym are unique and only used once each in the entire Bible. So, one expects the translation to also be unique. The words dwdym and mhmdym constitute a synonymous parallelism which references the covenant relationship between these 2 peoples. The dwdym or Jews were the last ancient Semitic people to hold this covenant before it was transferred to the mhmdym or the Muslims who were and are Muhammad's people. In addition, the Palestinians are the original Jews as they carry the haplotype J1c3d. The Ashkenazi who control Palestine are not Semites. So, Palestinians, the native inhabitants for more than 5000 years, are the rightful owners of Palestine according to history, genetics and the bible.
The control of the land of Israel was based on the contingency that those bound by the covenant would obey the law (Torah) and worship the One, True God. According to the Bible, the Jews failed to abide by the covenant conditions. The last straw was when they attempted to murder the Prophet, Jesus (as). Matthew 21:43 has Jesus declare: "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof." So, it is clear that Jesus confirmed the prophecy in Songs 5 and the covenant was taken from the dwdym (David's people) and given to the mhmdym (Muhammad's people). The Mhmdym (Muslims) fulfilled the messianic expectations of the Jews when they created an empire that stretched from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from the Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean. The Mhmdym also rebuilt the former temple as Masjid Al Aqsa on the site which the Christian had deliberately defiled to dishonor the Jews and their god, Yhwh.
Songs is an allegory with many different levels of meaning. The poem is symbolic. The groom is symbolic of the king who ruled Judah, and who was a member of the dwdym or David's people. The bride represents the people of the covenant. The love between the spouses represents the covenant. Dwdym (David's people) represents the original people of the covenant or Jews. The Mhmdym represent the people of Muhammad to whom the covenant is transferred when the bride addresses her groom as Muhammadim or the people of Muhammad.. The bride, who is symbolic of the people of the covenant, switched her allegiance from the king who was both the ruler of and a member of the dwdym (David's people) to the Muhammadim (Muhammad's people) because the Muhammadim were the recipients of the new covenant. The covenant was transferred to the Mhmdym because the Jews rejected Jesus and his message. This new covenant was the means through which Allah (swt) made Muhammad the founder of a nation whose empire stretched from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. The achievements of the Muhammadim fulfilled the messianic expectations of the Hebrews. Songs is a prophecy that the Law or Torah was to be expressed through a covenant between the deity and the people who were committed to the purified Torah which became known as the Shariah, the law or Torah of the Muslim ummah. Allah's (swt) promises are always true, Subhanallah.

With all due respect, that's a very weak argument. Petra's in the middle of a dessert. Yet the oasis besides it was enough to sustain a city that served as cros road for merchants since antiquity. Same for Palmyra, some for Samarkanda and Bukhara. In the US southwest, the oases in the middle of the dessert were enough to sustain the Pueblo and Anasazis civilizations, until they collapsed due to drough. So it could very well be that Yathrib and Medina existed in the middle of a dessert for a long time, all you need is a well or an oasis that's generous enough in water plus a reason for humans to be there (usually, that reason is commerce or mining, otherwise everybody shuns the desserts)

So their huge population can not be maintain to stick together and perhaps they went their way. Water is essential for a civilization to thrive, plant foods, raise cattles and home necessities. Or else the whole population dies of thirst. All civilization during early days are near water sources.

Another disinformation video by Al Fadi , Las Vegas has no water either but it is one of he biggest cities in the world with several churches and mosques and casinos and entertainment venues and native American sites but Mecca does have water , its called underground water wells , people also fish in mecca , if you dig deep enough you can fish in some parts , I've seen people fish and fry their fish in the middle of the desert with oil and spices , imagine fishing in a desert like death valley , well its possible in some parts of Mecca . Also Arabian culture going back 1000 years was very simple , they had date trees which require almost no water and they had camel milk or goat milk which also requires little water , its just like part of Africa were I'm from , they did not require a lot of water
So as a Christian myself born in the country of Angola , I was always happy with the respect Muslims showed towards me and Christians and so I asked one of the Church leaders in South Africa when I moved to Cape Town in South Africa from Angola and he said that when the early Muslim followers fled the city in Arabia , they were protected by Christian kings because the leaders in Arabia wanted to put them on trail for promoting Islam and I didn't know that . As a Christian I want to thank the South African government for banning hate speech and I want to thank the Muslim community in South Africa for helping our Church with parking spots since we would always would run out of parking space on Sundays and they allowed us to park in their spot .
Again on behalf of al fadi and david wood , I wanted to apologize to TH-cam viewers for the disinformation being promoted by al fadi and david wood , also don't forget to dislike this video and and block the channel , thank you and again I apologize .

    Mecca in the Bibel 2.
Makkah is named Baka in the Bible
The name Baka is specifically mentioned in the Bible in Chapter eighty-four of Psalms. This chapter tells us about a sacred place for which souls yearn, hearts and flesh sing for joy to the living God and God’s praise is sung. This place is called “the Valley of Baca”. Baca is described as a dry place which was made into a place of springs in the vicinity of tents. A day there is better than a thousand elsewhere.
“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty? My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young-a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob. Look on our shield, O God; look with favour on your anointed one. Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere” (Psalms 84: 1-10).
Let’s analyse the above Psalms’ verses.
“My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry outfor the living God”:
“Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your Sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful” (Qur’an 14:37).
“The sparrow has found a homeand the swallow a nest“:
Makkah is a place where birds and all animals are safe because hunting and killing are forbidden. Anyone who hunts or kills an animal in Makkah has to expiate for his sins.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you: Millions of Muslims go to Makkah every year for Umrah and pilgrimage. They spend several days occupying all their time praising God and fully submitting to Him. They are blessed because they sacrifice money and everything to visit and dwell in the House of God.
Muslims are ever praising and glorifying God in their prayers, and supplications. They also start anything in His name. During their visits to His house for pilgrimage they sing:
O, my Lord, here I am. Here I am associating no partners to You. Verily, all praise is for You. Every bounty is from You and all Sovereignty is Yours. You have no partner.
Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
Muslim pilgrims dwelling in the Holy House of God in Makkah, ask God for forgiveness. They drive their strength by fully relying on Him.
“As they pass through the Valley of Baka“:
Baka is one of the various names of Makkah as we read in the Qur’an:
“Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Baka - blessed and guidance for the worlds” (Qur’an 3:96).
“They make it a place of springs“:
The spring of “Zamzam” is beside the Ka’bah in the Holy Mosque in Makkah. This spring has been continuously producing water for thousands of years since the time of Abraham (PBUH). It has turned Makkah to an inhabited place in the arid desert.
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere“:
The reward of the pilgrims who visit the Holy Mosque of God in Makkah is great. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“One prayer in my Mosque (in Madinah) is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque excepting the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) and one prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere” (Narrated Ahmad and Ibn Majah).

So "maḥămaddîm" is translated as "lovely", and the "-im" added either means a normal plural or majestic plural, In either case, what is the reason for pluralizing an adjective like "lovely"?

Because Jesus says: "Whoever does the will of My Father is my brother, sister and mother," (Matthew Chapter 12). He could not deny the Spirit of God, Who testified through the works Jesus did that Jesus is the Mesiah. Many people at that time saw and believed, but the pharisees only followed Jesus to prove Him wrong or accuse Him of doing things against the Law of Moses. Then they wanted anothet miracle. Jesus told them: "An adulterous and wicked generation wants a miracle, but their only miracle will be that of the prophet Jonah, who was swallowed by the fish and released after 3 days. Thus the Son of Man will be resurrected after 3 days." See Matthew Chapter 12. 🙌❤️ God bless you all.
