What a great concerto.i am sure his influence was great in italy and on music on a whole as the italians influenced everyone whether the music world wants ti admit it or not
GIUSEPPE TORELLI (1658-1709) Concerto for 4 violins in A minor 1. Largo 2. Allegro 3. Largo 4. Allegro Performed by Musica Antique Koln Conducted by Reinhard Goebel ♊___#💙∞ #music
Such a stylish concerto! Very clear melodic lines and tutti-solo alternations. This didn't seem to contain the concerto style, though. Seemed like the solo sections were polyphonic. I could hear the concertato and the ritornello elements.

Torelli's music is amazing. I can't understand why he's not as well known as Albinoni and Vivaldi
SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Torelli so much it's cray cray! (trying to use modern slang there)
Didnt know that
They say that corelli influenced vivaldi but i hear some of vivaldi in torelli.maybe its just me.
Probably because he's not Vivaldi
@@razztasticSo why do you think Vivaldi is so well known?

Merci! AV
