That’s rather presumptuous of you to classify people belonging to different classes. You could be born into great wealth but fail to appreciate Vivaldi’s exquisite music. On the other hand, you could be born into a very humble family but learned to appreciate the beauty of Vivaldi. Regardless which era people were living, there were always people who recognized and cherished beautiful music. Case in point, Beethoven once played privately for a blind girl who lived in a shack with her working class father.

Ozmen El Khatib. Hard to follow your gibberish due to your butchering of the English language. You need to go back to school and take some lesson in English literature before attempting to bud in a conversation which you have no idea what it’s about. Not to mention the illogical reference to Neanderthals, which I am sure you are related to.

Für Elise wouldn't even appear on a list of the 50 greatest Beethoven pieces. It's utterly inconsequential, Beethoven himself would have been shocked to learn that it became one of his most famous pieces (he already hated how popular the Moonlight sonata was, he thought he had written much better stuff). It's not that Für Elise is bad, it's just that Beethoven composed so many amazing and groundbreaking works that it doesn't stand out. His symphonies, his piano sonatas, his quartets, especially the last ones, his Fidelio, the violin sonatas, etc. It's a shame that people only listen to the most popular stuff, it's rarely the most interesting.

Awesome.. from India.. and Vivaldi amazes me.. he even uses silence so well that it forms another layer to his music! brilliance.. and i feel like the ship sailing, withering in the sea and then trying to break free into clear sky. Boggles me how music created 400 years prior still can connect with so much of humanity and evoke visual images and emotions in ppls mind with nothing else but violins coming together.. Music is primitive to human DNA I guess!

I love art that allows you to interpret the meaning. As an artist myself, I find my best work is pieces that the viewer finds their own meaning in.
Just thought I would add this as an example. I know of a Japanese song called Sakura, there's many versions of the song, but my favorite version is an older one where I interpret the meaning as the struggle, death and renewal of life, like sakura, life blooms beautifully for a short time before it dies and is renewed. I have a special attachment to that art and for me it's not just another piece. It's art that I'll always remember.
