While destination nav is in progress if you touch the map, it focuses on that point and gives you options if you want to go there or save that location. How do you cancel that and continue with your previously set navigation?

I have a 2021 Toyota Venza. I love the car but I find the Map when traveling on the Highway to be super annoying. No matter what I try, I cannot get the POI off the screen when Highway driving. Any of you guys have any tips? FYI in the map settings I have no POIs selected and yet they still appear.
@@stevenwelchtoyota I know this asking for a lot but can you do a quick video or point to one already done? I notice the POIs go away when off the Highway but come back when I go back on the highway.
I just bought a 2022 XSE model but don’t see the navigation option under settings , also when I press Map button it says you have to download What to do ??
I have a 2022 Venza limited with the 12.3 screen. I feel like there is an elephant in the room...Why cant I make my map full screen???? The section that wont go away has good info but I don't need it there all the time. It essentially gives me an 8" screen. Does not feel like an upgrade.
@@stevenwelchtoyota No full screen on the 12.3? what a waste of space, I want to see where I am going and what is up ahead. Total waste of screen. The Japanese harrier goes full screen

Hit the button with 2 circles on the bottom to recenter

no it updates from the cloud does not need wifi active. the free time is 3 years then you need to pay $80 per year to keep getting updates

There is always a chance to have wireless CarPlay but nothing official yet

Plug in your phone. It will use android auto or apple CarPlay.
Hey stevam can you show when driving can you show the turn list mode and freeway intersection mode on the Navigation system while driving?
yes but I believe it wont show you while you have a destination set

it cant do full screen the max is 8in due to a limitation on the map it has

It should be in your settings menu under the vehicle tab. I have not checked a prius to see if it has the options
