I have the same card and the install went smoothly. However, it's unable to find houses that were built in 2020 near me. It can locate the street but will not ask for an address. It's not doing any better than the 2015 version from my 2016 4Runner.

Thanks for the Video - wonder did it erase your previous detinations or saved data - thanks!

I did not check this at the time but I did a quick check today morning and seems like I still have them. But better expect for the worst in case they get erased.

Amazon product description for Sd cards clearly state that the release date of 2023 is always prior year information. So know moving forward, the data is always a year behind.

My 2014 Camry doesn't have an SD card. So I'm sure it would require a CD update, which is way more expensive evidently.

Some of these map updates from Amazon can be problematic down the road as they use low quality microSD cards. I bought one of these and updated the nav maps on my 2018 4Runner, and a year later my head unit randomly started rebooting to a point that it became useless and distracting. As part of the troubleshooting, I switched back to the original microSD card and all problems went away. The quality of the memory card is an important factor in reliable operation of the navigation system.

Have you tried transferring the info to a better quality SD card?

@@donoimdono2702not yet. I think these SD cards are formatted differently. I need to do some more research.

@@nimam81 Have you found any reliable ones online that aren't toyo made? I don't like to pay $150 for something I'll need to replace every couple of years

@@donoimdono2702no, not yet. I’m actually thinking about getting an apple CarPlay module added to my 4Runner’s head unit. I have one in my Tacoma and it works. However, those units use the rear camera’s analogue input and the image is not crystal clear. They cost $150 to $200.

Time for a refund of the purchase price! I purchased a card in October’22 that ended with 74. Same as the one you just loaded into the 4 Runner.

True, I was disappointed too. But I kept thinking the cards ending 74 might have the same update? Not sure. Just wanted to share so others can ask the question from sellers about the map version date before purchase.
