    I lived in Bishkek from 1998 to 2005 ! Samsa is my favorite food by far! its so juicy and delicious.. I also recommend you guys to try out Kyrgyz "Gamburger" sandwich which is fantastic its just like western hamburgers but instead they use shawarma kebab meat .

    The Mongols were the ones who brought manti (actually pronounced more like mantu) to Central Asia & Turkey during the 13th century, and the term "manti", much like the Korean "mandu", originally came from the Chinese term for buns - 饅頭 (mantou). They are also known as "buuz" in Mongolia and parts of southern Siberia today, and this term also came from another Chinese term for buns - 包子 (baozi).
    Lagman on the other hand comes from the Chinese term for pulled noodles - 拉麵 (lamian); which was also brought into the Korean language as "ramyeon" or into Japanese as "ramen".

      Each country along the silk road added their own flair.
      Uzbek is considered a sort of standard bearer for central asian plov.
      What it has in it is amazing. I'll post a video next month on our time there living in a yurt camp in the dessert and eating their plov.

      They are all over the US and Australia. Men in Cornwall were miners in years past. When the mines ran out they moved to the US and Australia to work the mines there and brought along their delicious Cornish Pasty. It's kind of like a calzone except instead of having Italian food in the middle these contain English ingredients like beef, potatoes, onions, rutabagas.

    Place to visit: Kyrgyztan is cheaper, good people; there is a must top list to visit like Issyk lake e.g.. it looks like u guys didnt have anyone to help u enjoy ur trip, isnt it?
    I would recommend further u to visitKazakstan (Almaty&Astana cities), Uzbekistan, George, Armenia&Baltic countries; bc there re much more old historical pieces of achitecture and other sightseeings, though;
    meal: plov originally fr Uzbekistan; shashlyk fr Caucagian countries; kumys & samsa re traditionnal food of all C.A. countries&KZ; cheburek fr Armenia; )
    Health food: kumys is very health food to care stomack&lungs). there is another good food - horse meat; Kazakh people as well Frech Canadians eat it regularly; it is also a piece of health food

Horse is now our favorite meat of all meats we've tried (and we've tried many meats), I regularly ate dog (maybe in Korea you've had that experience), and we would totally eat the sheep head + brains again. :)

    • @kenanrejinaldo5734
      @kenanrejinaldo5734 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Так как кыргызы кочевники все эти блюда пришли из Китая. После военных походов кыргызы привозили из Китая не только материальные ценности, но и понравившиеся блюда. Плов это китайское блюдо ганфан, манты это тоже китайское блюдо, а не уйгурское. Шашлык тем более не кавказское, даже название имеет тюрское слово,что в переводе означает быстро т.е. приготовить в походе на привале быстро в спешке.

    Manti- you should eat with your hands 😀 no need to use fork.
    Lagman- looks strangeto me🙄 there should be more souce.
    Plov- in traditional plov should be rice, carrots and meat. No peppers.
