Saw them in London this month and they sang this. They sound exactly the same live as they do on their records, so talented. You just cannot sit still when they are playing, love them.
Hi from Australia, Back in 96 my wife and I moved into our new home in an estate in the Hinterlands of QLD Australia. We moved in the day our first son came home from being born. The estate had a country music channel and that how I discover the Mavericks, I was hooked from the first time I heard the band..... You're in my top 5 of bands I love... Keep up the great entertainment you provide.. Sorry it's a long post..

I listened to them through that entire journey, and as I wrote music through so much grief both parents passing who adored music, and other friends passing: their music reminded me to never stop singing writing dancing, even through the cascade of tears. That Song, Ever and Ever, Forever and Ever, is so well sung. The late, great Demis Roussos got it to number 1 in Holland, Germany & Norway, and number 2 in the UK charts, back in 1973.

I just bought tickets for Raul solo in San Juan Capistrano in May!!! Really looking forword to it.Please come to Las Vegas solo and Mavericks. I flew over 400 miles to see The Mavs in South Lake Tahoe last Oct. My goldest granddaughter and I had a ball but it wld b nice to have to travel. My granddaughter is 28 and she loved it,said it was 1 of best concerts she had been to and she goes to alot of concerts!
Must be at the Couch House , a great small venue , I saw Justin Heyward a few years ago there. I must look at the dates to see if I’m back home then, living in Nor Cal while my wife is at the UCSF Med Center for 6 months.

Really dig the acoustic version of Come unto me in this video. This song is the one that hooked me on the Mavericks. The original is just so powerful. First time I heard it I nearly blew out the speakers in the truck. Just frezkin awesome. If it doesnt get your pulse racing see a doctor becuz you might dead.

VERY small stage - take a look... where would you put him? In front of the sax & horns, or in front of the drums? The poor guy would be deaf by the end of the set. I'm sure he CHOSE to be back behind... he deserves a rest anyway... he's always bouncing around in front... that's a LOT OF WORK every night.

Hey Raul! Forever & Ever is a Great tune for you man. I called this one about 10 years ago brother. You and I met in Dallas when yall first got back together after your show at the Granada Theater and talked a while outside your bus. , my name is Jonny Fortunato I am also a singer and covered this a few year ago and we not only have very similar vocal range and style but seem to be in lock step on song choices. At the time I had a 10 piece with 5 horns and we covered a lot of yall's tunes local. You and all the boys were very gracious to me and my family. We catch you guys every time you hit Texas and look forward to your show at the Majestic in September. You'll see my comment on the original video link. Wishing you full and fast recovery!
