I think they saw the lockdown issue and said let’s give the fans the time of there life because after two years not touring they appreciate that the great music they make should be seen and heard big time. Mavericks exemplify a great live American band in the tradition of the Allman Brothers, Los Lobos, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and others, but all so unique to their own sound. Never get tired of watching these guys.
What is amazing to me is how Raul has kept this band together for many years! His voice, the talents of the band members, make for an incredible experience.
They had a 10 year break and then just came together because Raul had written some Maverick music. Awesome for us. They all are good But Raul can sing and play anything.
what a great experience to be at a Mavericks concert! Had the pleasure in October last in Kitchener ,Canada! They are such fine tuned musicians..and Raul!..what a gifted vocalist! If you have not seen them live,do yourself a favour! You will enjoy..enjoy..enjoy!

Worked for a music promoter. They opened for Taj Mahal. Early in his set they were drunk and started fighting back stage. Eventually it spilled out onto the stage behind Taj Mahal. We never brought them back again. Such talent and zero park your ego at the door understanding.
