I honestly think that the best thing that happened to him was the Band desolving. He sound's so so good on his own and that's what is catching his following which will continue to follow him. He's such a great writer.
Great production. So clear and simple. Just two blokes talking about music and life, and Colin Hay playing guitar as it’s meant to be played, without electronics and hype. Thanks so much for this.
Once I pushed play I had to listen to the whole 55 minutes! Fantastic performance that looked effortless! Love your unique voice Colin! Really appreciated the interesting back stories on the band and songs! Well done and thank you both!
Clin Hay is my favorite Solo Musician. A really talented songwriter. I listen to his Acoustic Songs to relax. And he's a very funny guy with great stories. "Waiting for my Real life to Begin," my favorite; it really hits home for me. He also does a great rendition of the Beatles, Norwegian Wood.
What a great presentation. Very well put together. A few insights into Colins life that I hadn't heard before. He is a true Icon of Aussie music. Such a pity he moved to the dark land, away from Australia, but we will always love and respect you Colin. Thanks for the music, and thanks to those responsible for putting this together. Cheers.
Grande Colin....maravilloso sonido y que grato saber que aún sigues ahí en la vida, como en los mejores tiempos...éres una luminosa estrella ....Dios te bendiga amigo ...
It's vids like this that prove YT to be beyond amazing for music lovers...makes me wonder how tf we ever lived without it and without content like this.
Great session/interview with Colin. I've been a follower of his music since the early 80's when Men at Work hit the scene. And have been lucky to have met Colin of a few occasions. As a guitar player myself, it was no wonder to become a huge fan of his writing after MAW. His solo records became my go to stuff to play. He is a master writer of both lyrics and the music to drive them. Now this session will become one I save for listening to now and then.... Nice stuff here.... Thanks.
Hello Colin! Watching you from San Diego! Loved seeing you on the 80s cruise, seeing you multiple times in concert and now here! And we share a June 29th birthday.Yay!
I done seen him in Anaheim about 15 years ago at some sh%t hole thinking wtf. How did this fellow get ousted by his community to such a degree. Obviously, he isn't a one hit wonder. Imagine being able to sing like this man. Or write a song likewise.
What a pity Colin Hay is treated with so much disrespect - playing the sound of guitar being strummed over the top of him talking about his life. If you think he's not worth listening to then why waste his time?
Fantastic songwriter and his voice still sounds amazing. Why is nobody watching this?
I am sharing it now!!! From Brazil
Got my tickets to see him 4/12 in Sacramento
I am!
Algorithm, sadly
He’s magic
Complete legend, a far better musician than he ever could show in his superstardom.
I agree. He's amazing.
One of the finest lyricists of the past 100 years.Thank You
I honestly think that the best thing that happened to him was the Band desolving. He sound's so so good on his own and that's what is catching his following which will continue to follow him. He's such a great writer.
Yes but they did make some good music as MAW.

I feel the same!
Oh yes - me too. Think of my lovely wife Winnie to left 3 years ago. Like can be so sad, but mercifully, still tinged with hope.
I love his voice! Is there another famous writer/ singer who still sounds this good at this age???
Check out Steve Winwood
Love love love him… a clear bucket list item of mine is to see him live at a very quaint set or space. ❤

He still sings it in the original key....pretty amazing.

Men at Work was so hot . Great to see Colin doing it solo . He sounds great and the new songs resonate with me .
Collin Hay Is a true singer songwriter. Aman with a deep soul Who doesn't take himself seriously. But we should.

It's amazing how his voice sounds even in his age
Scheme at Work, what a group !
Super Text :))
I think the frogs loved it as did I. I think your real life started in the 80s.
Is he Playing a Cole Clarke?
unba clear vision

It’s not tuned to dadgad
The Scottish Paul McCartney, but sadly under played.

So hard to get thru this. The loud 'background' music overpowering the interview...Totally unnecessary.
Is his eyeball still funny
What did you go and say that for? 🤦♂️
No O won't be able to stop looking at it!!
It’s like getting divorced ☹️
