Excellent. One tip: at the end, the last piece of paper you showed... put in flat on the table, focus the camera on it, use a pointer to show particular items... don't shake the Hell out of it!! Again, excellent presentation. Thanks.
Wow! Thank you so much this means the world to me brother! Good luck with your O&P’s. Always feel free to recommend any content you want to see. This is all about you guys. Thanks again :)
This video is hands down a life saver! and money saver! Check ride tomorrow and i have logs books. after 30 min i found the 100 hour and annual. had no clue where to look for the others! thank you! saved me money too from paying a CFI to "take his time" looking for the inspections
Thanks a lot for this. I was a QA Auditor for a regional airline that went tits up due to the COVID-19 virus. I am anticipating an up coming interview with an MRO. I've always worked at airlines and have zero experience with MRO's. This is helping a lot. Other than propeller logs, so far I'm not seeing any differences between airlines and MRO's inspection wise, which helps my confidence level.
Manufacturer's estimated TBO is not a requirement (for part 91) actual engine condition during regular inspections is controlling and can allow any amount of time between overhauls. More or less than advertised TBO. And while a compression test is required by an ancient regulation as part of the regular inspection, it is highly inaccurate. Make sure the mechanic is using a good borescope to inspect the cylinders and valves for actual condition.
Alex, these videos are extremely helpful! Please continue making informative videos that benefit aviation students. It would be a great help for people like you to pass down knowledge and useful tips for current students of the field to obtain their ratings.
Great video. Question: Which reference states Duracell are the only battery brand approved for use in ELT? I’m going for my Gen./Airframe O&P soon. If that comes up I’d like to know.
Ganhou um inscrito Brasileiro. Atento aqui aos seus vídeos. Você ja fez alguim vídeo sobre quanto ganha um mecânico de aeronaves nas empresas dos Estados Unidos?
Good morning Alex. Can you explain me the difference between FAR 43 and FAR 91 sub part E. I have been studying both, but I don’t really see the difference. I would appreciate your help.
Hi Alex. I’m a A&P student and I see that you are doing way better than my teachers. I would like to ask that what is the order in regard to documentation as you perform a major repair or alteration. Do you receive a STC after you have done the major repair or alteration and approval form an IA, or before?
Good question! When a manufacturer designs an aircraft they send the blue prints to the FAA. Once approved they receive a TCDS. In this doc it will specify what engine, appliances, prop etc the aircraft is approved for. STC is a supplement to the TCDS, meaning that the part or modification was not approved in the beginning when the TCDS was issued. So let’s say you find a way to add an aftermarket A/C unit to your c172 you will submit the plans to the FAA and once approved they will give you a STC. Now when you ship the whole kit to your customer you will also send them a copy of the STC. The mechanic will work on installing it, and once completed the IA will sign a 337 for a major alteration and send a copy to the FAA, one to the owner and he will keep one for his records. I hope this makes sense
I've got 58% in A level Maths which is class 12. Can I get enrolled for Aircraft Mechanic program? And can u suggest me for colleges that accepts grades like 58% for Aircraft Mechanic

You ever tried - Peanlivory Singular Predominance - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to learning how to start a successful handyman business minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.
