You mean you want to put more than "this aircraft has been inspected and found "airworthy" for annual/100hr inspection"?????....or use a rubber stamp???
That is the problem with older records, they could be VERY meager with the sign-off to as what they actually did (if anything at all) OR if they scribbled the "cursive" so bad you have NO idea what they did! I like to use a full sheet label and print it out and am very descriptive on the work done, even to use part numbers and serial numbers (if applicable) of items replaced. And actually doing the sign-off in word (or other program) you can save as a pdf and make a folder of the aircraft (for yourself or your customer) then if something does happen to the records it is easy to print out new stickers and recreate the records as best as your able.

No damage history or no history of the damage..... they are not the same thing.

True… if the logs were legally maintained however it is likely that major repairs would have an associated 337 form with them. Hence my recommendation to request the records from the FAA. If the owner is not legally maintaining repairs in attempt to inflate the value of the aircraft then it’s their neck when the pre-buy inspection reveals repairs. Sheds new light on the importance of that pre-buy!
