Hey how’s the paint holding up after doing some miles ?
I brought Power stop brakes and rotors and was not happy especially if the brake pads are carbon infused. They suck on braking when they get HOT. However, in the rain, they worked well. I want to add that they WILL wear out fast if you drive with a heavy foot. I went thru mine in 5 months.

Yellow gives it more pop than red
Actually, the squeaking is caused by glazed pads rubbing against glazed rotors. That grease is lube for the slide pins so they freely move. The lube goes nowhere else.
Yeah. I thought that it was the guide pins were not lubed so they weren’t releasing from the rotors. Either way a full set of rotors and pads fixed any issue I had
This might be a dumb question but wouldnt it be better without premier because the premier isnt high heat resistant like the paint would be?
How’s is that holding up?.. as far as the stickers go? I saw a video where they clear coat after the brembo sticker is installed. What’s your opinion on that before I get them professionally powder coated.

Where you bought the yellow caliper paint?
Took my a lot time and preparation to paint my calipers. If I do again, I take it to my auto body shop and have them do it for the $800 and one day turnaround time.
I like the black painted hat on the old rotors.

I didn’t use primer, but now, I wish I would’ve. Mine still look good but I haven’t really driven the car since we have tons of snow and ice. I have a friend that has a powder coating shop but like you said there is more work doing and you don't get it sometimes all over
I purchased a brand new calipers which would be so much better and easier to do. I'll keep the old ones and when I find time to do them.

When i painted my breaks in the garage .. everything came out good untill i went to wash my car then noticed my entire car was covered in paint particles.. had to googone my entire car
Oh yeah you may have to clay bar it! Overspray is nbd!

I used blankets to cover the rest of the car to avoid overspray, clay bar and polish should remove it as well
Thats anoying this happened to my dads car i went to go wash it and i noticed the entire car covered in white paint particles .i think someone was painting somethjng outside and every thing just flew onto his car
id go as far as using a car cover lol..particles may get under the car. Dont do it on a windy day. Or just take off the caliper but youll need to bleed the system otherwise pointless if youre leaving the lines attached youre spraying near the car anyway

You could, I just wanted to get the primer, sand, base coat, sticker, and then clear coat so it lasts.
btw. I think the red that was on before was the G2 brush kit...so as you can see it turns to crap lol

Awesome! I decided to paint the calipers on my Tundra yellow to blast out from the grey paint and black rotors & rims. So many red calipers out there yellow just seems to be a better and hotter color. Awesome video man!
