- In this video we show you how easy it is to install the passenger backrest on the new X Diavel.
All the parts come with the bike from the factory and the provided tool kit has all the tools you will need.
Total install time 5-10 mins!

is the backrest included when we purchase xdiavel or should be an additional cost?
What about installing this same seat on an Xdiavel S? I was installing and have wiring to work around.
How about installing the wind screen?
A touch of medium strength Loctite would be a good idea.

Hello. I have a 2016 xdiavel s. I see that the drive toothed belt has been moving towards the edge of the rear wheel sprocket. Could you tell me if it is a lack of belt tension? and how to make that adjustment? The bike only has 9,000 km of travel. I checked the strap and I see it in perfect condition. It is not damaged or has cracks. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.
Can we install these back rest on the 'diavel S' insted of on Xdiavel..???
On my 2016 XDiavel S the 2 under bolts are not Allans but tork. Interesting?!

Does the kit not come also with exhaust deflector else you melt the passengers boots/shoes as I saw before?
The ones that we saw thus far do not include any exhaust shields.
If you ask me, you really can't go wrong with any of the Japan's big 4 (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha). They all offer very good 600cc bikes. I would also put a Triumph Daytona 675 on your radar as that is a proven machine with better handling and a unique engine in the 600 class. It is a bit more up front but keeps it's value better too down the road. If you are like myself and choose un-practicality but coolness/uniquness over boring but steady, than look at a used MV Agusta F3 675/800. Given the recent events at MV the prices have dropped on the used market to super attractive levels, BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH before getting in bed with an Italian supermodel :-)

Sometimes there’s a plastic “stopper” thingy installed on the extended seat, remove it before trying to install the seat or you’ll spend half an hour like me, trying to figure out why it doesn’t fit.
Which plastic stopper? I'm having hard time and the rider seat wont click inside the latch

It is metal and the construction appears to be pretty sturdy! It will not break that's a certainty but perhaps the right question to ask is IS IT BIG enough??? It is rather compact and will keep the passenger behind you but will probably not give them much confidence at first.

Was so hyped for this bike until i understood what the maintenance cost is in my country.
Maintenance cost is just about that of any super sport. Sounds like you need to maybe prioritize better and maybe wait until you can afford a motorcycle. Or my rule is, if you can’t work on the simplicity that is a motorcycle, you aren’t man enough to own one.
@@kirkc9593 If the bike is new, you have guarantee on it you shouldn't do it your self. And not every one have a good spot/garage to work on. Please take your attitude and rules and go somewhere else you tard.
