    That piece you speak off to get rid of the slop is the panigali throttle spacer. Best mod ever for the XD. I've pulled the trigger and got me some heated grips as well. Thanks for the how to vid!!

    Note: the dead end connector that came out easy on the throttle side IS NOT for the heated grips. That is the USB/NAV connector. The 2 HEATED GRIP labeled connectors are both tie wrapped up underneath. 😉

      Did you install the grips on the Multistrada yourself or, did you take it to the dealer? I just bought my grips. The dealer wants to charge $200.

      @@robertoterriquez2132 I did it myself but its a lot of work and you still need the dealer to activate the grips.

      @@pablodegraaf6361 Did the dealer charge to activate them? How do you like the grips? I hear they don't warm much.

      @@robertoterriquez2132 activation was free because I bought the grips there. They work perfectly and are warm enough, the settings are visable on the dash.

    When the dealer activated the grips how do you turn the heat on? I didn't see a switch mentioned anywhere.

    Dude thanks for the vid, getting my new Ducati XDiavel tomorrow. Dealer wanted to charge me 450.00 to install these. I asked why so much and they told me well we can add the wire on the outside of the gas tank but it will look like shit, so we have to pull tha gas ta k and that takes time... haha F-ing Liers

    I installed mine just recently and I activated it myself, I have a programmer. for some reason the left grip won't turn on. I do have the tank off and wonder if I am interrupting the circuit. which clip on the left side did you install it specifically. they both have a tag that read heather.

    Are these grips plug n play or do you require the media module?

    Great video. How much does dealer charge to enable controls?

    You want the throttle spacers from ducatispacers.com. Very easy to install. I buy for all my Ducati’s.

    How do those white connectors for the heated part come apart. You said you broke one. Putting grips on in a couple weeks. Excited yet nervous

    • @andrewheymann5908
      @andrewheymann5908  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very carefully... seriously. They are standard type clips, but small so prone to breaking.

      @@andrewheymann5908 thanks. Put my grips on last week. The only issue was the spacers. I ended up using one on the left side. I’m assuming it was a spacer. Now to get the dealer to program it for me. Even though my right side grip seems to turn on automatically now

    A. Get a tripod.
    B. Stop scratching your frame with the screwdriver
