This restoration is beyond anything I've seen before! Music, closeups, angles! The new camera is AMAZING! Cannot wait for the next one...
Thanks mate, the new camera is also a lot of extra work but I guess it´s worth it :)
@@RedDeadRestoration yeah, but it rocks!
Its a fantastic production
@@RedDeadRestoration i was looking to buy one of these watches since long time? any chance you want to sell?
This isn’t a restoration video. It’s a movie. Absolutely outstanding.
For sure!
Usually I'm not a fan of music on this kind of channel, but the music used was really lovely and not just a random loop.
If there is a GPHG award for restorations, RDR fully merits an award! This is artwork at its finest!
I just watched an 18 minute movie made by Red Dead...... !!! Masterpiece!!!
Your video production quality has always been very good, but this is going even beyond your previous level. Stunning and beautiful.
Thanks so much ☺️🙏
love the new equipment, by far the best channel out there when it comes to watch restoration.
I wholeheartedly agree!!!!!!!

There are other restoration TH-camrs out there, but I, personally, just my opinion, think Red Dead Restoration is the best! 👍
with out question and by far
Your videos are consistently excellent, and this one is no different. One piece of modest feedback - I prefer them without any music.
Indeed, the videos are great. If you don't like the music, I suggest turning down your volume.
Yeah the music is too stressful. The video itself is much more relaxing to watch..

I'm an aircraft mechanic and I work on lots of different types of vehicles. I was mesmerized. That was fascinating. New subscriber.
You are really an artist at putting together these videos. So enjoyable to watch. When it comes to music, video length, and other choices, follow your instincts. Don’t worry about what people comment one way or another. The joy you have in creating these videos comes across to us. Part of that is your joy of the process of creation, including putting in whatever music or transitions or captions you feel like including. I enjoy all the choices you’ve made. Thank you.
When the music kicks back in at 13:09 😱
Glad you like it buddy :)
Top restoration. Love your work, especially on the hands. Exemplary attention to detail.
Absolutely superb. I think what we’ve just witnessed is the restoration of a real military watch.
The time, the method, the patience, the sequence. You are a very talented guy, in many different areas, congratulations
I have seen other watch restoration video's, but you Sir are without a doubt the undisputed master. Bravo! ❤
Wow! what a beautiful watch . Beautiful job restoring it . Your toys just keep getting better and better but I miss the moldy oldie machines you used to use , they seemed to have character I think . I'll bet some of them are worth more than my house . Thank you Sir for putting yourself out there for all to enjoy .
i can watch this during my entire life ! Thanks for sharing !
Well done 👍
Everything inside Hamilton watches is very small, but because of high quality Camera and macro lenses makes this video look amazing 🤩
What a superb job, the work done on this watch was incredible. I love how far you’ve progressed as a channel, bringing us viewers, such how high-quality content. The filming, the close-ups, the image quality, the editing and production have gotten exponentially better. I love seeing your new machines and tools. I like the music on the videos, but man, listening to the clicks, snaps, ticks, etc. of the watch and you working, without any other noise never gets old. Thank you!
A superb presentation. That new cleaning machine is incredible.
Gorgeous restoration. That lume colour is nice and rich. I have a 46374B and I wish I could find someone here that could do that kind of colour matching.
You brought it back to life!
You can always ask him to rescue it.
Your Videos are amazing. Love it when a craftsman has the right tools for the job. Fascinating.
one of the most watchmaker I’ve ever seen…great!
Me and everybody else want to say there'll be appreciate how you fix these time pieces and you take your time making these videos for us. Thank you. I appreciate all your videos because it takes time. Love and patience to fix those time pieces watches. Keep up the good work. Thank you😊💪👍👍👏👏🇵🇷💯☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️
Thanks, glad you liked it 👍
Put the coffee on and chill out with this . Best thing to do with winter outside. Gracias
A masterpiece of camerawork, editing, and of course restoration skills. Astonishing stuff!
No words for so excellent work. Congratulations sir.
Your videos are superb now and your skill is shown off for the better, music also fits very well you are now without doubt one of the best restoration channels around. 👏
Lots of new equipment I see.
Nice.😊
Another restoration masterpiece! 👍 All of your cool equipment is as fascinating as the restoration. 😮
The dizzying array of new equipment is expected and complementary of someone of your skill level but I must confess to being a bit nostalgic for the old Time Machine. It had a certain charm that I liked. As always this was truly impressive. BTW , I served in the US military when this watch was made and never knew they existed. Well done!!!!
Robertlassiter: To whom were the watches issued? Or did servicemen have to buy their own?
@@StevenKeery I was in the Air Force so maybe that’s why I never saw them. I suspect they were an Army and or Marine thing.
@@robertlassiter907 : I understand. They seemed like a nice watch. I have heard of the brand before, I just wondered how reliable they were, with only seven jewels.
Quartz watches have been around for a similar length of time and the Hong Kong marking seems odd, unless they sub-contracted the work out, or just had them manufactured in Hong Kong and put their logo on it.
I understood them to be an American brand.
I'll have to research on the Internet now my curiosity has been aroused.
Thanks for replying, hope you are enjoying your retirement.
@@StevenKeery I am busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest but I’m enjoying it, thank you.
Perfect work, excellent restoration, wonderful music. Congratulations!!! Brazil present here.⌚💛💚
Amazing job and amazing filming
Thanks for such relaxing videos💙
Soothing music at the end detailing the before and after I believe is was the best choice. IMO a humble fan of this channel 😊
Потрясающая работа. Часы супер.!!!
Nice to see you are raising the bar of your videos quality. Keep going!
Wow, that’s amazing! What a great restoration and amazing video. Very captivating. Thanks 🙏🏻
These videos are absolutely mind blowingly good. Superb production value in every respect!
First class restoration and equally excellent video production .. RDR is in a league of his own .. !
You sir are the best in restoration. Keep up the fantastic work .
The quality of this video is amazing, buddy. New tricks, new equipment. I love your videos .
Just amazing work on this watch and outstanding filming.
Stunning work, as always…
👍👍👍
Great work, i would like to see it glowing in the dark.
Watch the end again 😉
Congrats on the new studio. It looks amazing and as usual, top notch production quality. Bravo sir!
Captivating video! Congrats on the new time machine
Your macro shots are really well done compared to other watch channels, your effort is appreciated
Every video's got the
- Time machine
- Socks
- Fantastic music
- Breathtaking visuals and angles
These videos are done with the same care as these timepieces and I love it.
What is not to love about this channel. Wonderful restoration 😊
It’s like a surgeon doing a procedure!
Absolutely love your channel bro. Try to watch whenever I can. Awesome content, thank you !!
Very good!! Fun to watch. I would like to see the hands and face in the dark and see how they look with the non radioactive luminescent features.
Watch the end of the video again 😉
These really are the best out there, I so look forward to new uploads
Amazing work, beautiful watch
Incredibly aesthetically beautiful video! Music is something special! Professionally done work. I got a special pleasure. Thank you!
Nicely done. The fabric wrist band is a great choice.
Another outstanding restoration…. Keep up the good work braddah 🤙🏽🦾
Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. 🙂 Just the right length. Plus you have some really cool stuff. Especially the time machine.
Oooh hell yeah, watch restoration and it's a Hamilton! So excited
Ogni volta si rimane incantati ad ammirare la maestria e la bellezza del tuo lavoro, altro video stupendo, suggestivo e con un risultato finale fantastico! Bravo!
I love that you went all in and gave it a "brand new, straight from the shop" look.
I can't stand all of the restoration and leave thst "used patina" look, most of the times.
This is gorgeous! I love this video! FLAWLESS job !
Incredible restoration, I'm in awe of your skills! ⏱️
Oh my goodness, how long have I been waiting for something like this! I love Vietnam War-era MIL watches so when I saw YOU restoring one, I immediately gave it a thumbs up (without watching it)! Now I want a Hamilton even more, thanks to you!😉
Fabulous, meticulous restoration 👏🏻👏🏻☺️
Wow your production quality has really ramped up! It's so cool to see you try new things. I love the mixture of music and ambient.
As always, you did a great job, especially the coordinated coloring of the clock hands with the dial, good luck
Beautiful Restoration 👍🏆
awesome. I watched with pleasure. It made me feel like I was watching a good movie.
Outstanding video and restoration. You sir are a master of your trade and have very few peers of equal skill. As a Tool and Die Maker (mostly in sheet metal stampings) for the last 40 years, I can appreciate what it takes to make all those parts that make up a watch movement. Perfect music too, for this.
Beautiful work! The year I was born too. Love this one.
Neat little watch. Great restoration and video.
It’s like watching a painter or sculptor work. Fantastic!
Kind of masterpiece 💯 everything is on next level, cannot wait to see more 🤙🏼
I have a Hamilton like that one. Got it when I was in the National Guard in the early 80s.
Good watch.
VERY NICELY DONE MATE!
Cinematic, music and the overall feeling of this ASMR type video is superb!
Tks 🤩
Beautiful restoration. Love your music too!
Love the radioactive symbol on the face of the watch, and the colour scheme is great too
This is amazing work!
It is great to see the progress in you. I am pretty sure you were really good at your job before starting a TH-cam channel. but looking at how you and the tools have evolved over the past few years, it is very motivating. Thank you for all the videos. Thank you!
Fantastic way you put this video together.
Great work as always. Respect!
Love you channel! Been a long time subscriber and would just like to say I really enjoyed the music in the final reveal only.
The soundtrack on this video 🔥 art of restoration at its finest.i tip my hat to you sir
Got some new tools in the workshop.
The videos look more refined too
Thanks 😊 it's a new camera too
You are the best restorer on TH-cam, I love your videos. but still, they are perfect without music. Mechanical sounds in their purest form, that's what's great ❤
you are an artist, to bring this watch back to life, I enjoyed the video, I have 2 just like this. Semper Fi US Marines 74-78
Outstanding as usual!
Amazing video production. Well done!
Nooooo, 😢 I miss the old time machine, and vintage equipment... glad your doing well tho.
It says Hong Kong Hamilton Co. in the back of the case cover. I didn't know Hamilton was out sourcing already back in 1980s.
You just made us all fall in love with this watch😂
Nice work and nice music! Thank you!
Once again he drops a masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥
I also have a same model of this watch that is not working. Approx 37 years ago my young brother gave it to me for my military service enrollment. I still have it but is not working maybe that is worn out and theqwinding stem is broken. I hope to restore this but I could not find an experts who can repair this old watch around me yet. Thanks for your clip to give me hope to restore my old watch.
Love me some Hamilton field watches! Beautiful.
PERFECT strap choice for this watch.
Great video! You've really upped your game.
