Thank you Aaron & Claire! Been watching over a year now, and my new mantra has been "don't worry 'bout it" ever since... Cooking is about creativity, access, and fun. Simply doing it, and learning the technique, is way more important than perfection - that's what you've taught me - and my cooking has been much better for it ❤
I absolutely love Asian food. Whenever I've tried to cook it, it's terrible. I've cooked so many of your dishes here in Australia and they all come out perfect. 100% perfection. When I cook to take to work to share, my Korean colleagues say it's better than what their mother cooks!!! They absolutely LOVE the Bulgogi noodles. That is probably my favourite too, followed closely by the Korean Fried Chicken. Who doesn't love KFC!!!
Haha Thank you so much for the huge compliment!!! We absolutely love hearing from you guys!!!! More yummy foods to come! Please keep looking forward to them! 😆🙌🙌
Made this today and switched the bok choy for some soft celery I had to use and it turned out amazing!!!! Fish sauce, oyster sauce and korean chili paste were the best food investments I made this year ❤ trying bibimbap next!!
I stumbled onto your channel a while ago and I am hooked...love the substitutions and ease of preparation. You make it look easy enough for me to follow along...love Claire's feedback...makes me wish I was a neighbour 😊
Thank you Aaron for making these videos. I already made four dishes using your guidance. And of course, the motive for making those dishes were Clair’s feedbacks. So thank so much to you both.
These videos are always so pleasant to watch. Both Aaron and Claire are wonderful, of course, and I love the food, and sometimes there's a brief guest appearance of a cute dog! What more could one want?
Love everything you two do. You're awesome 😊 Once I got over the metaphorical hump of ingredients to keep stocked and particular/simple skills, I find many Asian dishes to be quite simple. I'll still cheat a little from time to time but i always keep certain things on hand and I've found I can fix a huge variety of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese dishes quite easily and fast. I want to start making my own kimchee this summer but i can buy really good and affordable kimchee locally soooo who knows. It would be fun as an experiment but maybe not as inexpensive and I'll always stock 3 or 4 different kinds of dumplings 😋
That really was an easy one to make & my mouth was watering. Always start out the video laughing when Aaron does the face puff😆 Good to see Hodu is keeping up her yoga skills. Sending ♥️ & 🙏
Great recipe! Have followed number of times. Tonight tried with Pad Thai noodles with left over smoked beef. Worked great. Just had to do in reverse stir order to accommodate rice noodle requirements. Turned out terrific 🎉 Thanks much!!!!!
You had my mouth watering. None of the take outs near me have good Lo Mein. Yours looks so good. It’s in my recipes now and Im going to make it next time we get the urge for take out. First time Im here but wont be the last. Thanks for your video.
Ah! Lo Mein is more saucy! Perfect. My inner stir-fry self is now complete. Thank you!! (and a huge thanks for bringing your wisdom and vids to us all!)
I love your videos! Just wondering about these dishes, are they good for meal prep through the week? I know fresh is always better but I like meal prepping as makes life easier. Keep up amazing food!
Thank you for saying that James! 👍👍 Unfortunately, this kind of noodle dishes are not suitable for meal prep. How about trying our ground beef bulgogi recipe? That's amazingly good for meal prepping my friend!😎
Hi, I have been watching your channel for years. Thank you for great recipes. I saw you cooked chicken, beef and pork. I wonder some Korean goat dishes from your channel. It would be a pleasure to watch ^^
Although i put way too many noodles and by doing so I diminished the flavor level it still been very, very tasty! Thanks! By the way I love you videos! Keep up the good work!
Hey, thank you for your awesome banter laden teamwork. Dish looks good. I have to stay away from starchy noodles for a while. Your Mongolian need/chicken/pork was unreal! Seriously. Better than the place down the road. Seriously! I love the way Aaron says “Don’t worry about it”. Thank you!
Sure! That would be awesome! 😎👍 (For more details or list of ingredients, please check the written recipe as well! aaronandclaire.com/easy-lo-mein-recipe/)
Hi there. 😊Lo Mein is one of my favorites. Thanks for making it look so easy. It looks delicious! I purchased your cookbook when it first came out. I have yet to make a recipe from it. Even though you make everything seem so simple, I’m still a little bit intimidated.😞
but aaarooon I only have medium dry sherry, but aarrroooon I only have 1 shade of soy sauce, and another soy sauce that is made via chemicals that i don't think is either...I hope the thick egg noodles I got are on point tho. Bout to late night cook this bad boy up with frozen eggrolls, and hand wrapped crab ragoons - there's no way this could end another way than full and happy! 😁😁
Hope you enjoy it, Jacob! 😁👍 (For more details or list of ingredients, please check the written recipe as well. aaronandclaire.com/easy-lo-mein-recipe/)
I could spend my entire day searching for ingrendients to make a great Lo Mein. Or I could just pick up the phone and order! Pittsburgh has some great chinese!
Sesame oil is usually used at the end for extra flavor. For cooking, use a neutral-tasting oil with a high smoke point such as vegetable, grapeseed, peanut, canola, avocado oil, etc. Normally, I use grapeseed oil for all-purpose! 😊
I love your videos. I learned a lot. I've been cooking Koreans food for 2 years now. And with your videos, Sir, I have improved my skills. I have a question Sir. Where do I get a knife like yours and a good wok. Hope uou can help me with that. Thanks and keep teaching us new dishes. ❤❤❤

Please let us know how it goes, my friends! 😍
I'm definitely going to have to get your cookbook. I've cooked mabye 10 of your reciepes and the curry at least 4 times. Loving these dishes!
Sounds like a perfect plan!!! 😁👍👍
Made this today and switched the bok choy for some soft celery I had to use and it turned out amazing!!!! Fish sauce, oyster sauce and korean chili paste were the best food investments I made this year ❤ trying bibimbap next!!
I am happy to find you in youtube. Your dishes are super and easy to cook for an older woman, greetings from Germany

I had lo mein for dinner last night, and this just made me want it again!

I made it today, although I didn’t add MSG it turned out awesome! Thank you for sharing your recipe.
I like when you film without any filters like at 0:04, it makes your videos more authentic.... 😁
Another great video with a recipe that's manageable for this Canadian retiree who wants to expand her culinary palate.
Tried this recipe and came out so amazing! Thank you! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Swapped the wine with white wine vinegar.
That really was an easy one to make & my mouth was watering. Always start out the video laughing when Aaron does the face puff😆 Good to see Hodu is keeping up her yoga skills. Sending ♥️ & 🙏
Her yoga skills… 😂🥹🥹
Lol. Watching this felt like a feisty Friday with all the "oh I don't have the shaoxiang wine"
Hey Aaron I love your patter as you cook: 'Bad boys', 'What you don't like garlic? Don't worry about it!' etc. You are quite a character!
Great recipe! Have followed number of times. Tonight tried with Pad Thai noodles with left over smoked beef. Worked great. Just had to do in reverse stir order to accommodate rice noodle requirements. Turned out terrific 🎉
Thanks much!!!!!

I tried this recipe and it came out GREAT!! Thank you for the recipe
I don’t eat beef, but I’ll try making this with shrimp. Thanks for sharing.
Ah! Lo Mein is more saucy! Perfect. My inner stir-fry self is now complete. Thank you!! (and a huge thanks for bringing your wisdom and vids to us all!)
Puppy 🐶 minute 9:44 😊 too cute 🥰!
Lo mein looks good, too thanks 🙏!
"Hello from Seoul" never fails to put a smile on my face. 😊
I'M THINKING ME AND MY HUSBAND TO MAKING TO COOKING LO MEIN FOR POTLUCK PARTY IDEAS.
Actually it can be quite daunting😂nothing beats a good noodle dish except this one, this beats them all thx😋😇
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Just made it… geez it’s amazing, I substituted bokchoi with cabbage, turned out great!
Hi, I have been watching your channel for years. Thank you for great recipes. I saw you cooked chicken, beef and pork. I wonder some Korean goat dishes from your channel. It would be a pleasure to watch ^^
I chop veggies just like claire 😂😂😂 but this looked so delicious and definitely a must try, you make it look so easy.
I found this video randomly and made the best Lo mein I've ever had watching this. Thank you Aaron and Claire!!
Looks amazing. If you use chicken would you also marinate it first like the beef?
I tried this recipe and it was 10/10. Thank you
Oh man I've been wanting lo mein for awhile now thanks Aaron
So glad to hear that Mike! 😍👍
Although i put way too many noodles and by doing so I diminished the flavor level it still been very, very tasty! Thanks! By the way I love you videos! Keep up the good work!
Me too. He said use a pound but I think that’s too much. Still very good. Next time I’m cutting back on the noodles.
I made this one tonight and my hungry bird absolutely loved it. Thank you!
This tastes so good! Thank you!
I am continually surprised by the elasticity of time. Fifteen minutes in Korea is apparently two hours in my kitchen 😄
🤣🤣🤣😁
Hey, thank you for your awesome banter laden teamwork. Dish looks good. I have to stay away from starchy noodles for a while. Your Mongolian need/chicken/pork was unreal! Seriously. Better than the place down the road. Seriously! I love the way Aaron says “Don’t worry about it”. Thank you!
My family adores this channel!

You're always welcome Alyson! 😍

Aaron and Claire trust me you guys are the best and thank you for your recipe’s.
You are the best!!! Thanks for watching! 😍
You made my day!
Thank you for the well made easy to follow funny cooking video!
Would there be a more low carb brand of noodles that are natural and made with no stabilizers?
What kind of noodles are u usingy
Any differences in cooking Plain Lo Mein?
Mmm it looks lush
😍😍😍
That's looks so good and easy I'm going to try it tomorrow
Aaron, question, can you use shrimp instead?
Sure! That would be awesome! 😎👍 (For more details or list of ingredients, please check the written recipe as well! aaronandclaire.com/easy-lo-mein-recipe/)
Aaron could you do a video on picking the right wok, like what size is good for two people?
This will go into our repertoire, alongside several others of your dishes :)
This is a great channel. Thank you for being educational and entertaining.
Can I use regular sesame oil if I don't have toasted?
Just made it and it was amazing!! Like it so much better with beef instead of chicken.
A VPN as one of the ingredients? How long do I cook the VPN for? What's it taste like?
Been watching your videos...I bought soy sauce and fish sauce (not fishy, Claire 😂) today. Baby steps.
Hi there. 😊Lo Mein is one of my favorites. Thanks for making it look so easy. It looks delicious! I purchased your cookbook when it first came out. I have yet to make a recipe from it. Even though you make everything seem so simple, I’m still a little bit intimidated.😞
Waving hello to Claire👋
😁😁😁😍
And I'm making Lo mein this weekend!
Weight of the noodles was pre or after being cooked? I added 400grams of dried noodles and I have a feeling it was way too much.
Yeah me too. I’m gonna cut down on noodles next time.
Claire does NOT need subtitles! Her English is much more understandable than Aaron’s!
Your foods always look so good ❤️❤️❤️!!
Beef and Bok Choy, wow! Those are two of my favorites. I'll definitely be making this soon!
Hey Aaron, can you invent some recipes for “Desktop Cooker”?
Hey Arron, what can you substitute for oyster sauce, if someone as has an allergy to shell fish?
You can simply add more soy sauce. Still gonna be full of umami. Don’t worry! 😎👍
Just had this for dinner, was amazing
but aaarooon I only have medium dry sherry, but aarrroooon I only have 1 shade of soy sauce, and another soy sauce that is made via chemicals that i don't think is either...I hope the thick egg noodles I got are on point tho. Awesome.❤🎉. 0:08 .
Looks incredible! I'm definitely making this.
Hope you enjoy it, Jacob! 😁👍 (For more details or list of ingredients, please check the written recipe as well. aaronandclaire.com/easy-lo-mein-recipe/)
Love his narration 😂😂😂😂😂
Does this work with Tofu? If not is there an alternative vegetarian protein I could use? Thank you! Love you both!
Hard tofu or mushroom will do.
I could spend my entire day searching for ingrendients to make a great Lo Mein. Or I could just pick up the phone and order! Pittsburgh has some great chinese!
This dish looks so yummy

Thanks for letting me know! Can’t wait for the green onions! 🤣😁😁
I just got your cookbook in the mail thr other day! ❤
Thank you so much!
Did you say RINSE the noodles? Rinse under water I assume? Or did you mean drain? I do stir fry some times, so just want to make sure. Thank you!
What's a good replacement for cooking wine?
In a response below Aaron said that a splash of water would work.
Bon appétit
You must be google or something because i was literally looking for lo mein recipes yesterday...thank you nevertheless, you guys deserve the best
"Aaron, I don't have Shaoxing wine, what should I do?! " he really came for us with that impression
You are awesome sir !. Thank you for all you do !
Amazing as always!
What type of oil You use for cooking? Is it always sesame oil?
Sesame oil is usually used at the end for extra flavor. For cooking, use a neutral-tasting oil with a high smoke point such as vegetable, grapeseed, peanut, canola, avocado oil, etc. Normally, I use grapeseed oil for all-purpose! 😊
#Yummy😋👍 BUT what about Cantonese Lo Mein (Chow Mein) ?
Love you guys! Don' worry 'bout it! Great channel.
Spaghetti 🍝 of the day 🌞
Hell naw, the MSG is NOT optional!
Hello.Your video is very interesting Thank you for the recipe🙂👌👍👍👍
Thank you for saying that buddy!😍😍
I love your videos. I learned a lot. I've been cooking Koreans food for 2 years now. And with your videos, Sir, I have improved my skills. I have a question Sir. Where do I get a knife like yours and a good wok. Hope uou can help me with that. Thanks and keep teaching us new dishes. ❤❤❤
always cut against the grain and always use green onion
I’m kinda wondering where you get those jurassic carrots. They look like orange portable umbrellas 😅🥘♥️
Very delicious,thanks for sharing

I always enjoy your videos and Aaron makes me laugh but this is a good one-- an easy and great tasting dish--I am looking forward to making it.
