    Have you tried Levels grass fed whey? Vanilla cinnamon is my favorite and tastes like horchata when mixed with milk. No funky aftertaste. Cold processed whey concentrate. Sweetened with monk fruit and stevia.

    That's exactly why I got Naked last night myself, I was looking for not only a grass fed protein powder but it had to be 5 lbs. Discovered Naked and ordered it

    This is the best protein powder of all time. I ship it all the way here to the Philippines from USA. I had one 5lb can that was opened but not used for months. While other powders would have clumped or gone bad, this was as good as the day opened. I add other things to it so i don't care about taste. I'm a water and PP with a scoop of ice cream or not and if you add the naked peanut butter to it it is better. I wish they made it in a bag because shipping costs me $$$

    • @waddupJRoyce
      @waddupJRoyce  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! I think the taste is something that we've become too obsessed over, but I understand how that works for a business. Glad you're still able to enjoy it over Sea's, I feel for you about your shipping dilemma though 😅

      Funny you mention that. I just finished 2 bags of that and was thinking of making another video on it. It tastes so much better than Naked's protein, so yeah I recommend. The whey does come from Ireland I believe, which isn't my favorite, but for price it's a great deal.

    What do you think of the brand Vivo Life?

    • @waddupJRoyce
      @waddupJRoyce  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just from doing a quick view of their website it does look like they are vested in providing a high quality plant based product.
      Depending on your dietary needs it looks like a solid company to try.
      A little pricey with $26 servings for $2.50 a serving, and could probably find something comparable for cheaper.
      But if you have the money and like the company I have no reason to stop ya. I personally wouldn't buy this because I'm not a huge plant based shopper, but if someone gave it to me I'd try it. But those are my thoughts.

    Do you have any tips on mixing the protein with a liquid or blended into a shake? I love this protein, but every time I make it, it foams up a lot.

    • @waddupJRoyce
      @waddupJRoyce  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that may happen because of the contents. I specifically mix mine with frozen fruit and whole milk in a ninja blender. But if you're just mixing it with a blender bottle by hand you may run into this problem. So my suggestion I guess is try to use a blender if possible lol hopefully that helps

A protein to be labeled as a "complete protein" it needs to meet the 9 essential amino acid profiles and Naked has an additional 9 on top of the essential 9. Hope that helps!

    But isn’t isolate protein generally better?

    • @waddupJRoyce
      @waddupJRoyce  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hi @fabcharles great question. So the main difference between these two types of proteins is that whey isolate whey isolate undergoes more processing, which results in a higher protein content with less carbs, lactose and fat. This can be beneficial for people who are lactose intolerant (the isolate version) but as explained in around 08:17 in the video because this isn't a isolate there is less processing leading to more vitamins/minerals+CLA's+Omega 3's being left inside the concentrate version.
      Also at 11:24 I explain that you're really only talking about a 20-50 calorie difference and around 3-8 carb difference between a isolate and concentrate whey protein powder. Which in my opinion won't effect most people.
      The main thing is the isolate version may help with lactose intolerant people. Hope that helps!
