Came here for Lin. Lin wasn't here. Ended up staying for Shock and Chris (nothing against the other guys--I just don't know them).
I'm not disappointed because they rapped about him...
It sounds like they almost tried to rap in the style of LMM.

if Lin isn't involved there is no reason to watch this group
Bink Hinkle that's ridiculous. That's like saying you can't go and see Hamilton now because Lin, Leslie, Phillipa, Daveed and Renee aren't there
Stephanie it's actually nothing like that. Hamilton is written, the actors now just make the parts their own. This is improv. Everyone involved sucks at it except Lin. Apples and oranges. But thanks for playing
If they all sucked, how did Chris get on Broadway? How did any of them on that stage come to be where they are now? You have to 1) be good at your art and 2) have people who like you/your art, to make it "big." So you can't say that "everyone involved sucks at it except Lin."
And what about Daveed and Tommy Kail? Their both Tony award winners, as well as Chris, so you can't say they suck. Learn your stuff before you start bashing people.
And if you don't like them, why the hell did you watch it? Do like something/someone(or many), leave it/them the hell alone.
Stephanie Daveed isn't on stage. Tommy isn't on stage. And Chris can sing his ass off but his improv skills are minimal. Are you related to someone in this show? I wouldn't be this defensive unless someone was talking about my son. I think Tommy is a genius as is Daveed and I think Chris is a great singer (more importantly an amazing dad especially with a special needs son) but this performance is God awful. If you disagree I'm happy for you and your appreciation for mediocrity.
