  • DIY Dryer!. Multi-use mini "clothes" dryer. good for shoes, boots, hats, gloves etc... dries 'em quickly. items need: few pieces of pvc, a 2" pipe coupler and a hair dryer. note: these types of PVC dryers have been around for years. during my experiments - the pipes only got warm (but not hot). just check the items you're drying from time to time and turn it off (and remove items) when their done. (*every hair dryer is different so remember to check hotness of the pipes and hair dryer from time to time to insure they never get overly hot - and of course don't leave it "unattended" while it's running). finally, when placing items on this device, make sure that they don't "overly" obstruct the airflow. the motor should not sound like it's working harder with the items on the device.

good build dude. I made a simple one that uses a usb fan to blow air. it takes a day to dry anything. I like the idea of the hot air dryer you have in your design. great stuff

Hi, is there a time limit for a hair drier to be on ?

cool and all but maybe next time put the entire thing in a clear square container with a lid and drill some small holes on top of container to let the steam go out and a hole for the hair dryer to recive the air

Get a hard shell back pack hook up a solar panel to a blow dryer and make a portable personal heating system.
