    Simple and effective (plus I was worried about electricity and water but I see you took care of that too). Nice work - it's perfect for camping, off grid life, low budgets, etc. Plus easily scaled up to handle blankets if needed

      Com certeza o elétrico é melhor, mas dá pra fazer manual copiando um sistema de manivela ou corda tipo lavador de alface ou aqueles trituradores de legumes! Enfim, se você conseguir criar, posta aqui pra gente!

      A commercial kitchen salad spinner might do the trick that’s got a basket in it and a handle it’s hand crank operated

    • @savingpeace8452
      @savingpeace8452 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or a bucket with holes in or washing basket with holes and a rope then spin it it will spin and unspin over and over just on the rope I’m sure you could put a larger bucket around the net to catch the water and even put a tap at the bottom of it. I think a little heavy duty trash can with lid with a tap installed and a bucket inside with holes in it hung up by a rope would work a handle would be better like a bucket within a bucket on it’s side you could spin with a handle like those tumbling compost drums that kind of set up for a hand crank dryer would work pretty well I think but if your in a pinch a washing basket on a rope and spin spin spin that will do the trick I’d suggest doing it outside tho cos the water will flick around obviously but for camping it would be ok

    Fun project. Helpful for those w/o a washer. Much better than wringing. For those with a top load electric washing machine, the machine has a spin cycle. If you hand wash certain items you don't want to machine agitate, like coats or lace tablecloths, then carry the wet items to the washer, move the dial to SPIN and push in the dial. Almost dry due to a full strength heavy motor and no damage to fragile cloth.

      But you should probably improve it a bit if you want it to work longer than few months.
      For instance don't use hot glue at all, it won't probably withstand those vibrations very long. .. motor assembly should be mounted with something stronger than that.. probably some screws would do better.
      2. Those four screws mounting that basket should have some sort of seal under them ..
      But after all, it's pretty nice design and I'm not criticising by any means 👍

A laundry spinner like this without a motor (just a handheld rotator ) is almost $80 and that's just ridiculously high price for just two buckets with a cover. I wish I had someone to make this for me as I'm nervous about doing electrical projects like these 😳

    • @Sarge92
      @Sarge92 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yuenkentsang9446 it should work i have one of theese albeit the consumer product version its just that simple
      although take spin dryers effectivness with a pinch of salt
      they do dry clothes as in they make them "dryer" but they wont get them what you or i would call dry ie ready to wear
      instead they get them lets say 95-98% dry about as dry as say a dish towel after you get done drying half a dozen dishes its not soaked but its gonna need to hang out and finish off drying for a hour
      if you put it on a clothes line it would be finished in about 15 minutes
      in a apartment or indoors closer to 45 minutes
      but ALOT faster than line drying from soaked which can take 90 minutes on a line or several hours indoors

      or you can probably do a pedal thing attached to something that spins which in turn, spins the bucket inside, too..or maybe attach it to a stationary bike! lol! you'll hit 2 birds with one stone. you can exercise while trying to dry your laundry...😂😂😂

    the wet clothes spinning over the electrical motor makes me nervous. water and electric don't mix, electrical shock or electrocution possible.

      12V DC are not harmful even if entire thing soaked in water.

      Hot glue water seal, 12 volts d/c aren't quite as harmful as 110-220 a/c, not saying you won't feel a shock, but you will live.

      Maria Ram . It’s a 12v DC brushed motor, you can literally run them under water with no issue.
      Everyone doesn’t need to know everything but it’s a bit annoying when they act like they do. Op talking about electrocution from a small 12v battery and a small motor is incredibly absurd.
