1. Everly (sorry if I'm misspelling her name) just keeps getting cuter and cuter....she is going to break some hearts one day. 2. Paco is such a good boy. 3. I love how you two recognize and acknowledge and compliment one another on your strengths. 4. I recently cancelled my Anytime Fitness membership (which is almost $70CAD/month) because I've discovered rec centers have excellent shower facilities (this morning I only paid $2/private stall/hot shower/great water pressure at the Panorama Rec Ctr, North Saanich/ie close to Sidney, VanIsle). 5. Love you all and hope to meet up again, maybe at a vanlife meet up in Ontario this summer/fall 🤞🤗🤗🤗🐾🐾

Dog food lol. He sometime gets some scraps like egg and steak and what not.
Why not take the baby in the shower with you I have and with a 3 year old as well every one washed and changed would be easier with 2 people.
We could, but she was sleeping, and we didn't want to wake her. So we just went in one at a time.
I have seen females who get upset because no one can “watch” their child while they shower. It always makes me giggle. What do some females think mothers did when the dad was actually working in the fields or coal mine all day or night? 😆
I know what you feel like with cigarettes. I have serious allergies. My whole family smoked when I was young. I was ecstatic when MO banned smoking in any public buildings. When my grandson came to spend the weekend with me, he would have an asthma attack, because the restaurant that we went to, still allowed smoking until the law changed. I love what you're doing with a child onboard. ❤

Needing a living wage while inflation and cost of living have gone up exponentially, while the minimum wage has not caught up and has been stagnant for over a decade, has nothing to do with some rando kid not being able to count coins in the age of tap cards, Venmo, apple cash. 😆 Some even in our generation X never learned how to read an analog clock without hands or even seen an Abacus before or learned handwriting. It happens. 😜

By the way sign up for Shell rewards as well! You can take an extra .5c off on top of the upside price! For example if it say $3.60 with the Upside price, what I do is edit the regular fuel price $3.55! So I save more on top of it! lol.. I do this about every week for gas and even if I am on the road for vacation!

Get a baby seat on the bike. I used to take my child bike riding at less than a year old. Hes now 52 and he’s still riding a bike. Only his is a mountain bike. He is in the BMX hall of fame. So bikes have always been his favorite thing.

I don't RV at all. Road trips have usally been 12 hours of driving per day, even with my kids. But watching a lot of RVing videos they seem to shoot for 4 hours. As long as thier in no hurry.

For us, the membership is a waste of money. But lots of people do it. We had one and didn't use it much 4 years ago when we first got on the road.

I use GasBuddy to save money on gas. I found for me that upside didnt have as many (or as good) deals. Why do you choose upside over gasbuddy? Does upside work in Canada?

Most truck stops are safe and now some LOVE'S Travel Centers actually have RV sites as an otr driver& part time HDT RVer I would diffenly stay at truck stop safe travels see you on the road!!

Get a thing to put on the front for the bike. Figure out how to get the bike out of the inside. Theres a way. We had bikes hanging on our cars and trucks everywhere we went for yrs. No matter where we went my son wanted to take his bike. You’ll figure out a way. Look into it. You can do it. Even if you have to take the wheels off.

That Derby City was a good place good food, I've stopped there several times when I used to drive a truck. Tip don't park in the truck parking area, you could get ran over and it cuts them off for their parking. Park where cars park.
Totally. Yeah, we parked with the cars. There is no need to take one of the truckers' spots.

Oh, my gosh, I go eat there every week! And, on down the road is the best coffee shop you will ever go to! It’s right across from Renfro, called the Twisted Stache.

We used gas buddy back when we first started traveling. The hardest part has to reload the card all the time, and there is a limit you can spend in one day as well as in a week.

We always tell people not to take a truckers spot. It is important not to since we know they are working and have some strict rules about over driving.

Dude, I worked in fast food, and if someone handed me all that change, I totally wouldn't count it and my manager would just know my drawer is gonna be a little off. You are alllowed a certain over and under and a surprising number of people will overpay with 'just keep the change'. Also, might warm youor heart to know how many people pay for other people's orders in the drive through. A LOT. 🙏🏻

How’s about a planet fitness membership for shower
Yes we had one for the first two years of traveling but often found there wasn't a location nearby or they were closed when we showed up. But for 20 a month it's a great investment!!

Have you thought about putting the baby in the stroller while you both shower and she can just be on the other side of you guys. I used to have to do that sometimes at home just to get my shower of the day in when I had my twins.

I remember my mother smoking filter less Pall Malls wirh the windows up. I'd complain and she would crack the open 1/4". And when I still complain she would tell me to stop as I couldn't even smell it

Yeah, we’re talking about the hot water being busted. Why not just get a hotel room for the night baby tired you’re tired.
In 4 years of van life, we've never booked a hotel just for a shower. It wouldn't even occur to me. We have our hotel on wheels!
Our camper is extremely comfortable, so there is no need for the hotel room. Plus, I'm the video. We didn't want to pay 45 dollars for the rv spot, so a hotel room would be a lot more money, is my guess.
If we didn't have that bike in the van, we would have been using the shower in our rig. So next time when we have less in the rig, we will be using it.

The new USA 🇺🇸 dream
Not really, the USA dream is supposed to be doing what you want in life. For us, we love traveling, which means sometimes we have to stay at truck stops on quick road trips. But then it is also traveling to over 40 states in the USA, 4 provinces in Canada, 20 different states in Mexico, and throughout Central America all the way to Panama. Snowboarding over 70 mountains in one winter season and much more.
This is just some of the stuff we have done over the past 4 years. Feels like a little bit of a dream to me, looking back on it. I guess the question is, what is your dream life?
